May positive TA reviews, local recommendations and a nice atmosphere made me select El Pastor among the many options for lechazo (suckling lamb) in the town. I was glad I did. Food and service was superb and the local wine excellent value. I picked the lechazo menu for 38 Euro instead of the whole plate of suckling lamb (which I always find too much).

This is a really typical restaurant to taste authentic Castillian food. Very nice restaurant indeed, friendly atmosphere and typical decoration. The food is very tasty and the menu very complete. One should order cochino, which is the typical course in the country. The staff is very pleasant and effective. One feels cared for. No disappointment at all! The price could be a little bit lower, good quality-cost relationship though.

We enjoyed a Saturday night dinner. We got there a bit early but they were happy to open up and accommodate us. The house dish of lechazo (lamb) was lovely and they offered different suggestions for the vegetarian member of the party. A wonderful mixed pudding selection finished off the meal perfectly. Fantastic, friendly and helpful service throughout the meal and reasonably priced

We stepped in there as it was too early to have dinner in other places. We planned just to have something quick like tapas. But finally we had great time there and eate enough to go back to hotel.

Mediterranean Restaurant, in the Ribera del Duero heart. We are other option to the people that do not want the typical meal (baby lamb). Great menu, also available in English and wine menu with more than 80 differents wines to choose
We went to this restaurant as it was recommended, although I had not realized that they do not offer the traditional lamb of the region and are rather specialized in seafood. Food was excellent though, interesting offer, the salad with chicken and oranges delicious, the artichokes very good as well and the fish too! Good service and nice atmosphere, would go there again! Only desserts could be improved.

My wife and I ate here recently and thought it was very good. Everything is made to order and the chef tries his best to please. We had the Chuletas (lamb chops), which is a regional specialty, and were very good..........that paired with a nice bottle of a Crianza and was a very nice experience.

We visited this precious village and we were recommended to eat here.
The lunch was all-spanish.
Tasty entries and magnificent fish.
Definitely,if you are planning to eat here, the fish is a must. (Rape a la plantxa above all)
As a critic, it took too long to finish lunch...
(we started at 2pm and finished at 5pm...)
Anyway, a marvellous lunch we enjoyed.
