This DQ is a walk up location to order but they have a great eat in area that takes you back to the good ole days. The ordering process was quick, the orders came out in a very timely manner and in the order they were placed. Everyday they off a $5 Buck lunch special. I chose a chicken parm sandwich that had plump friend chicken topped with tangy marinara and a generous portion of fries. Their inside dining area is decorated with lots of memorabilia from the 50's and 60's time frame. An overall good experience and I will visit again when I am in the area.

A wonderful meal. I had fried shrimp, cheese grits and onion rings. Friend had catfish filet, grilled green beans and baked sweet potato. Every single thing was delicious. Onion rings were hand breaded, thick and yummy. Friend said catfish and hush puppies were excellent and the best they had in awhile. Sweet tea is brewed and sweet! Just like it should be. A must stop.

My first time at this store. I wanted something light and quick so I ordered a Thai steak taco. I loved the taste and it was very reasonable price for the taco. It was 1.59. I only wish there was more inside it or ihad ordered 2. It was good. If your on a budget you might want to pick up a soda somewhere else but then this place is known for their smoothies not soft drinks. I ordered my soft drink and paid for it here but had to pick it up at the little Ceaser counter next to it. No big deal. But $3 for a drink I thought was a bit much so I will pick up another taco but I'll buy a soda somewhere else.

In the heart of updated Andalusia, a block from where Hank Williams married.
Neat old wearhouse atmosphere. Huge beams of from huge timber. Old authentic brick walls. Solid wood floors . Very well restored and worth seeing.
Friendly reception ,smiling faces, quick service, drinks quick, appetizers slow.
Our second visit. Very good experienced server the first time and pleasant. Southern charmer. Food was very good. We got what we paid for or we wouldn't have gone back.
This visit, same reception, same drink experience and same appetizer experience. I did ask for appetizer to come with the meal this time, but it came in the middle of the meal. It was good but late. My Rib eye was perfect for the second time, both this and the original visit. My wife's fish was very dry. our guest filet was to rare and it was sent back. When it returned it was well done. It was ordered medium rare. A new steak should have been delivered and not a poor attempt to reheat a great piece and ruin it by over cooking it.
The server was enexperienced, not attentive, college age and confused. An example is that I requested horse radish and recieved tarter sauce. She was reacting instead of being a step ahead. Would this cause me not to return ??? The answer is no,but I may be alone again. Why didn't the ladies send there food back.? Well it was the end of a long day so everything but my steak was boxed up a brought home. Complaining was not in the plan. I'll do a review like this one on the Facebook site.

My husband and I love this restaurant. We were in an Andalusia hotel evacuated from Hurricane Irma, and didn't know any of the restaurants. Saw this one on TripAdvisor. This restaurant was fun, the food was delicious and the woman who took care of us was top notch. Highly recommended. Thanks to the lovely woman who took care of us.

The Crow's Nest is my go to place when I am in Andalusia and don't want to think about a restaurant choice. It's a comfortable space even when filled with diners. Ordering is done at a window as is picking up your food. The menu has your typical bbq choices and typical sides. I decided one day that I was not in a bbq mood and ordered a burger. It was a really good burger. The people at the window are very welcoming. Tea can be refilled. Prices are very reasonable. I have eaten there many times and the quality is always consistent.

We stopped here because of reviews on TA, however it wasn't as good as described. The bread with sauce was best part of meal and it's an appetizer that u pay for. Nothing complimentary here. We ordered 3 waters and she brought out 3 dansani bottles at $2 a piece. I feel the waitress should have said something. We ordered lasagna, hardly any layers or noodles very disappointed. My daughter ordered grilled chicken with garlic butter sauce and penne pasta with steamed broccoli. She really liked it. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. So they cut up a meatball and that's what made it meat sauce, I guess. Sauce was tangy and homemade which was good, but not to die for great. Overrated reviews and not worth $70 + $10 tip for 4 meals.

We were very happy with this Zaxby's. The food is typical Zaxby's. The restaurant is also very clean. What separates this one apart from the others is the service. When we grabbed our plates, a price of chicken fell off and they grabbed us another piece of chicken. We also asked to switch out cole slaw for fries and they were happy to do it. Very pleased with the service.

Normally I don't review a restaurant if our review is on par with the average, but I looked this place up on TripAdvisor and was surprised that there were no photos. Well, there was one photo of some chips on a floor but I don't even think it is this restaurant based on the floor covering in the picture. So I'm doing a review so I can attach my photos for future diners.
I was in the mood for something with guacamole yeah, but then I noticed they had chorizo and eggs on the menu. That is something I miss desperately since moving to the south from the desert. So we ordered guac to go with our chips and I got amazing chorizo and eggs for dinner. My husband ordered something with shrimp and mushrooms and a cheesy sauce that was out of this world, it was on a bed of corn which is usually pretty nondescript but even the corn was great. Some beautiful Frozen cocktails passed by our table on the way to other customers, I would like to have tried one but we still had a long drive home ahead of us. This restaurant is far more authentic then the typical Mexican style restaurants in this part of the country. When we are in the area again we will definitely plan on stopping here.

There isn't a lot of places to get fresh seafood this far frm the beach but this is it. They have something for everyone here. From steaks to seafood. If your worried about a seafood place having great steaks don't be. The front of the restaurant is a meat market. Really. Years ago the Greens raised livestalk and cut their own meat. The Green's know meat. There was also at one time the best BBQ place in South Alabama they owned. Southern living said they were.
Now the family concentrates on seafood and steaks as well as their grade A pork and beef in the front store.
If your looking for great food with southern charm this is your place. The owners Billy and Gina Green will even probably greet you at the front door. And don't worry about dressing up. Its a come as you are place.
