If your looking for a great sit down family style or even individual ice cream bar then Cappies it is. There are plenty of places to get ice cream in the Amsterdam area but Cappies provides plenty of indoor seating including a long bar with stools. The staff is friendly and quick! I have now been there several times with my daughter and she loves it! The hard ice cream is awesome. I usually get it with plenty of hot fudge! Overall, great ice cream, service and food also!

In 1980, the Raindancer Restaurant, located at 4582 Route 30, was established by Doreen and Walter Porath. This family-run business has grown considerably during the past 35 years. Found this restaurant on trip advisor and it was rated #2 in the area. Great tasting food and large portions. Got the seafood casserole and it was great. Definately go there again.

I think the owner is Italian. Workers are mostly puerto rican. Best subs and Cubano Pernil around. We try to go at least 1x week for the cubano. This is authentic. Italian pasteries as good as Scenectady's Villa Italia. They have custom made cakes... 4 stars overall. Would be 5 stars if they cleaned a bit better. One of our favorite places.

Small intimate restaurant serving a menu of appetizers, pasta, desserts and espresso. Imported and domestic beers and wines available
We've driven past L'Ultimo for months - it doesn't really look like a restaurant from the outside.
Inside, it's small and crowded - reservations are critical. We were able to be served at the bar, which was fine.
We had the meatball parmigiana appetizer, which was REALLY good - I'd fully recommend 2 as a dinner. For entree, I had fettuccine bolognese, which was good. My wife wasn't that happy with her entree, but said it was more that the experiment wasn't successful - it was well-made but not to her tastes.

Met some friends here for dinner on a week night. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Not real large but there is also some outdoor seating. Like the bar which is quite large and very interesting, and the bartender was very nice and knowledgeable about the beers and the wine. I would say there is a decent beer selection. All four of us enjoyed our meals, I had the meatloaf dinner which was excellent. Would certaianly recommend and we will be back!

I will be short....red wine did not taste good so switched to a mixed drink. Salad and bread were fine. Appetizer was great. Then the wait, and wait, and wait. Two others tables were served their meals before our table and we're done eating before we got ours. Both tables actually came in 15 minutes later then our table. We even had fewer people at ours. One pasta dish hardly had any sausage and you really had to search for it, the other pasta dish was to spicy to eat. Other dishe was fine. Pasta was cooked perfect. Other tables kept commenting on how they were out of items. I might add that it has to be hard to cook or serve holding on to an infant. None was the waitress fault.

Our takeout order was ready on time and well-packaged. The fellow who waited on us was pleasant. The 8-cut fresh mushroom pizza was excellent, with a tasty crust. The antipasto would have been better if it included a pepperoncini or two, and the wings would have been crispier if they had less sauce. We thought their "medium" sauce had a lot of heat, more towards "hot."
Be aware that the on-street parking out front is unconventional, at an angle, where you back in.

We "found" this restaurant while looking for another. It's located in a neighborhood, not downtown or on some busy street. It's a pizza restaurant so was not expecting too much but it was late & I just wanted to eat already. We stopped in last Wednesday around 8:30 pm. There was only one other table filled. My friend & I split a chicken parm dinner. It came with a side of pasta, a salad and bread. We ordered an extra salad and wound up having so much food. The chicken parm was huge and one of the best I've ever had. The chicken was crisp, the sauce was delicious. I couldn't stop saying how good it was. The waitress was wonderful. We parked on the street. I would definitely go back if ever in this area again.
