We were working at Lime Rock Park and had exhausted all the good restaurants in Lakeville, CT, so we started to expand our search to neighboring towns.
Trip Advisor brought us to Monte's, and it was stellar.
The young ladies who serves us were both attentive and informed as to the cuisine, and both had good energy in their service.
Food was excellent and fresh, and we had a drink in the bar afterwards, two margaritas, which were perfectly made.
Definitely worth the 15 minute drive from the track. We'll be back.

We are a local bar and restaurant serving the greater Amenia area. We specialize in wood fired pizzas, locally sourced burgers, amazing wings, and rotating specials. Our tap beer selection is ever changing and we strive to provide a nice variety of hard liquor. We are a casual family friendly establishment. Weather permitting our outdoor seating is open and we have a fire pit. Food is served Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
We eat here several times per month. The food is consistently excellent. There's just one issue. The lantern is some sort of gathering place for completely clueless hipster parents who allow their hoards of little kids to terrorize the place. Think high speed mini monsters with ear piercing screams. The parents kick back getting hammered and do absolutely nothing. This is a restaurant, not a playground. Pretend to be real parents for an hour and reel in your kids.

Bennett has done an amazing job here at creating an authentic and welcoming BBQ-gumbo-southern cuisine informal bistro in the middle of the New England countryside. A warm and welcoming and tasty addition to the food scene or Inns/deli's/coffee shops... if you are in Sharon, drop by. If you are close - its worth the detour. Tasty beyond belief and yet very informal. (almost a take out place but with an eclectic informal seating area). the pulled pork and chicken was mouthwatering, the collard greens delicious and cornbread filling... sweet tea and wines available... a hearty and tasty local spot that you can't miss out on! as his saying goes.. 'put a little south in ya' mouth. LOL - friendly and delicious.

We so much enjoyed our visit to Harney & Sons Tea Shop and Tasting Room. Relaxed atmosphere. Small Tasting Room is in the back part of the Tea Shop. Big on creative meals and freshly brewed teas. Hearty lunch time choices: soups, salads, appetizers, hot and cold plates. We split a tea cheese sampler (tea cheeses broiled on crostini - wow!). I then had curry bowl while my friend had a 'Finn' - grilled cheddar on sourdough bread. Very satisfying, coupled with iced raspberry tea and my tea choice, apple cinnamon black tea, served in a small pot (2 teacups). What a great place to stop for a lunch that was anything but run of the mill!

Escargot, Steak Frites, French onion soup and on and on and on.
All the greatest French-y type hits.
Food is quite good. Good wine list.
French onion soup was delicious as were salads and escargot.
Steak was very good - but could have gotten to table from grill a little quicker. Mussels were good. Lamb was a little over cooked, duck was delicious.
Desserts were strong. Servers were pleasant, attractive and super nice to the kids.
Restaurant is small, feels intimate.
I'm guessing this is the best restaurant in Millbrook.
I'd be happy to go again.

pleased to find that coffee where we stayed more than an hour

People come a long way to eat at the Woodlands. They have the most varied menu in the region and it is all EXCELLENT! They have just about anything you could want in a fine restaurant including an amazing wine cellar. If you are in the area and want a great meal, try the Woodlands...but be smart and get a reservation.

This is a small but quaint restaurant but the menu and quality of food is amazing. We chose to appetizers and small dishes as well as one entree - it gave us the opportunity to try a little of everything. The clam chowder was delicious. The mussels are fabulous. The Locally-foraged maitake and chicken of the woods mushrooms are a must!!!!! The scallops were perfectly cooked and the vanilla bean beurre blanc made it a heavenly dish. We were not disappointed with our entree - halibut. I would go back if I return to Kent.

Grill & Bar A family Casual Restaurant. Mix of food including Vegetarian, Mexican, American. All fresh house made dishes From Fried pickles to steak and fish. We are open 7 Days a week for lunch and dinner
We stopped by for a quick dinner with my son, who's been there for the bar scene a number of times. The server, Tammy, was extremely friendly and very nice. The choices were good. Great specials too. The prime rib special was enormous and delicious. The onion ring tower appetizer also very good. The burgers were perfect as were the fries, too. Everything was delicious. We'd definitely go back. The only negative was as another reviewer mentioned. There was a bar patron, guessing she is a regular as she knew everyone's name, who was very loud and used very profane language constantly. There was a nice crowd in there so space was tight. But she made her way around. Besides that, it was delicious!
