A very good place to hangout for youngsters or people discussing business.
In a close building and far away from pollution and noise.
Great taste of coffee as they got a coffee machine, I would suggest moroccan rice and SNOW ICE.
Pro : fully aircond and good price
Cons : Picture in the ads is far from real, not suitable for old peoples ( a lot of stairs)

Find the owner to be very service orientated, lovely gentleman..
But it's food is slightly overrated.. we were misguided by trip advisors recommendation.. I guess the chef needs to be replaced, food are terribly oily for a Malay cuisine.. the only nice thing is their signature sambal paste.. my girl's spaghetti was left untouched ..

Preferr Boulangerie

This Boulangerie is situated inside Mahkota Parade Mall in Melaka, at ground floor, just opposite McDonald and KFC. It serves very authentic French style pastries and bread, including french baguettes, whole wheat breads, butter rolls, chocolate eclairs, strawberry and blueberry tarts, canelle, flavoured brioches, croissants, scones and sandwiches. It's a cafe where people could walk in and have a sit with coffee and pastries. Other than these, there are also sorbets and gelato. Reasonable price and very cozy place to spend time with friends and family.

Kangli Yuan Restaurant

Reviewed By D_Jekyll - Malaysia

Nestled within Taman woon & tucked away from the main road, Kangli Yuan Restaurant is a quiet little eatery popular with the locals. The service is definitely not top notch and can easily pass off as a tad snobbish & arrogant. But we were here for the food so we couldn't care less.
We ordered a claypot pork slices cooked in dried chili & salted fish, a potato leave vege fried with garlic & a stewed chicken feet in a spicy sauce. The vegetables were fresh and sweet. The chichken feet was tasty and packed a punch. The claypot pork was the least of our favourite as it lacked flavour and the meat was a bit over fried and dry. Overall a good lunch and price was reasonably cheap.

Restoran Ikan Bakar Simpang Ampat

Reviewed By Melissa Z - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We were driving along the highway to Batu Gajah on our way to A Famosa Freeport Zone for some shopping. On the way back, we got hungry and decided to stop at this quaint restaurant located next to the Petronas gas station along a row of shop lots.
Mind you I have never been a fan of Asam Pedas. I decided what the heck, let's give this one a try. This very basic restaurant serves Ikan Bakar, Asam Pedas with various types of fish, 1 type of vegetable, local ulam and sambal belacan. That's it. So i picked my fish, half a plate of rice, stir fried cabbage, local ulam and sambal belacan. I was blown away! the Asam Pedas was sooo good we had seconds! Afterwards, a nice cold glass of iced tea to quench our thirst on that hot humid day.
Just across the road I spied some food trucks selling local malay kuih and my all time favourite kuih keria! i was ecstatic...we just had to buy a few types for tea time later :)
