Reserved two weeks in advance. We we were seated at a private balcony table for four above the main dining room and away from the busyness of the capacity patronage. Our server Chris was excellent.
Excellent bartender in the evening with high demand this Saturday night. Three of us selected stuffed lobster entrees and one selected seafood fettuccine. Shared two appetizers and two desserts. Prefer the seafood at Luke Wholey's Alaskan Grille in the Strip District for special occasion (pricey) fine dining but that venue has a rustic, noisy atmosphere. Hartwood Restaurant dining room is a more elegant experience. The scallops in the seafood fettuccine were bland, but the sauce was tasty. The lazy lobster was a bit overdone and the cream sauce rather boring, as were roasted cauliflower sides and rice. Appetizers Caesar salad with anchovies was fine, fried calamari was ordinary bar food. Portions did not satisfy our appetites. Creme brule'e was an excellent dessert choice. Several family members are excellent chefs and they prepare our major holiday meals at home. Whereas this dinner was enjoyable for my wife's birthday meal, when we visit again it will be to the adjacent Whispers Pub; our recommendation for lunch, late night drinks, appetizers and desserts .

As a former restaurant owner and restaurant manager of 2 very successful establishments, whenever I enter a restaurant, my brain goes automatically into analytics mode regarding atomosphere, service, food quality, and value. My wife and I have been to K Asian Bistro several times in the past. There are Very, Very few places that with each mouthful I say"This is fantastic!". K Asian Bistro is one of the few places I do that. Their rolls are that good! The interior is nice (nothing fancy), the service is always friendly, but the quality and taste of the food is off the charts! If you like sushi in it's various forms.....and I know it's not for everyone....this is your place to go!

Quaint little hidden gem in Millvale. Beautiful pastries, cakes, croissants, and ohh the macarons are unbelievably divine. My husband tasted his espresso macaron after he got to the car and he immediately went back in to get more. If we had tried the almond macaron before we got home, we would have definitely bought more of those too. They were my favorite.
We loved the croissants and the other pastries we bought. We sampled the french breton cake and it was buttery perfection.
If you’re in the area, it is a must to visit!

Attend an evening seminar. Despite having a single server cover the entire room, she did an outstanding job. Both my wife and I had the filet mignon which was perfectly prepared and served hot, quite an accomplishment for banquet meals. Wine is average.

Stopped at Churn at 8:30pm on a weeknight. So many choices available, it was almost overwhelming. Everyone in our group tried a different flavor or two. Nothing was disappointing. Great texture and flavor.
Some comfy chairs to sit and enjoy, as well as some tables and chairs. However, at 8:50, they started mopping the floors and emptying the trash and at 9 on the dot, they asked us to leave.

Wheelfish is a local neighborhood place, with a passion for slow smoked goodness: ribs, brisket, pulled pork and salmon. (Brisket & salmon are my favorites.) Baked beans are quite tasty.
Good craft beer selection (draft and bottled). Service always friendly and efficient. Decor is shabby chic
They appreciate your business and you'll appreciate their efforts!

Mark your calendars, travelers, for Saturday 1-6-2018. Oakmont Bakery will, once again, start making their exceptional PACZKI. (Pronounced poonch-key or paunch-key) This delicious pastry is a Polish donut made of fried dough with a fruit or cream (Pittsburgh Cream) filling. They will be available thru Easter and perhaps shortly after. These sugar or glazed coated donuts are to die for. Oakmont Bakery is one of best bakeries we’ve found anywhere. The have a huge assortment of pastries such as: cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, donuts, breads, cakes and items you can’t even imagine until you see their show cases. On any given day (they’re open 7 days a week) arrive early. Review the pastry selections, make a mental note, then grab a ticket from the dispenser and wait for your number to be called. The lines move fast as they have a wonderful staff to serve you. Tip: If you can’t wait to eat one of you’re pastry choices, there is a small sitting area where you can enjoy a coffee and devour your PACZKI.

I have had Le Thai on my radar for some time, but had not yet had the opportunity to give it a try. Based on feedback from other TripAdvisor reviewers, it was time to take the step. I ordered take away vs eat in and chose a few of my Thai favorites: basil chicken and Thai fried rice. The fried rice was very good w overall fresh flavor, tho it could have been a bit more spicy. The basil chicken was fresh, but w a bit too much of the 'licorice' flavor. I would definitely return to try a few more of the menu items, because every thing was well prepared: crisp vegetables, great combination of flavors and quick service. All of those qualities you want in a meal.
