My husband and I were driving through the
Poconos and wanted to find a unique place to stop for lunch... definitely found it! The environment is a lot of fun - tables are surrounded by vintage wallpapers, small antique gifts for sale, window dressings, etc... we even had an astrology book placed at our table.
Recommend getting a hot chocolate or fresh flavored coffee (we had chocolate raspberry). It’s served in a giant mug and you can get it loaded with with whipped cream & syrup too.

Our family of out-of-towners rented a house nearby for 3 nights. On the first night, we got 4 pizzas for take-out and they were delicious. Nice crispy crust, flavorful sauce and good toppings.
For the third night (which was our family Christmas celebration), we had pre-ordered a pan of chicken parmigiana to accompany some homemade pasta that we had brought. The chicken parm was outstanding - and I mean outstanding. It couldn't have been better. And very reasonably priced.
I highly recommend Bella Mia to any locals or visitors in the Albrightsville area.

Breakfast and lunch served all day
Visiting the area for a family wedding, we headed to the Chat N Chew for breakfast Sunday morning. When we arrived at the nondescript store front diner, they were experiencing a brisk local business, so our large group of 13 had to wait for a table. Once seated, coffee and tea were promptly served and orders taken. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only, and like all diners, breakfast is always available. The breakfast menu was extensive and included the regular eggs, pancakes and waffles. The interior is a mix of tables and booths with an eclectic collection of wall plaques for decoration. The food was hot, with ample portions, and just as ordered. Everyone was pleased with their meal and several took doggie bags home as they were unable to finish their servings. We will return to the Chat-n-Chew when we are next in the area.

Awesome service, great food, large portions. Biscuits and gravy were great and the best I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. Make it a stop on your next trip to the area.

The pizza and anti pasta salad are our favorites. The orders are always consistent with previous ones. The garlic knots are habit forming. The staff are like the food-good !!!

Visit the Murphy's Loft website to view the menus and specials. See you soon!
The hotel we were staying at re
commended Murphy's Loft.
We walked into "rustic" bar and girl behind bar said to sit anywhere. We sat at table in dining room and no one EVER came to the table. We could hear that orders were being taken in the bar but apparently you have to sit on a bar stool to get waited on. Very poor service (we got our own menus out of slot on wall) and can't comment on food because we never got so much as a glass of water. We walked out.

We stayed at a friend's house and they recommended Trattoria 903. We went hungry and had stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were very good. We got a beet salad that was fresh and delicious (enough for two people). It was very tasty! Husband got a special and enjoyed it and I got the lobster stuffed ravioli's. They were out of this world and I ate every bite. But that is not all, we ended up seeing a very old business colleague who sent over complimentary drinks to our table. We were tired from biking/hiking all day and the food really hit the spot. We decided to have a drink at the bar and met two local guys who were so friendly who also bought us two drinks. The bartender (woman) was so, so friendly and we ended up staying at the bar for two hours having a blast. We will definitely go there again. Make a reservation. We were lucky because we went at 5pm. Place was jam packed by the time we left.

We went here twice for dinner during our trip to Lake Harmony. Both the food and the service were good. Our first night there Vickie was our server and she was efficient and personable. I would definitely recommend going here for dinner, it's on Boulder Lake with a view of the mountain and nice snowy sunsets.

It is a typical Subway with a few tables and chairs to sit. Prices follow most often what on the ad's.

We were pleasantly surprised by this Chinese restaurant. It is located in a small strip mall along Rt. 940 at Blakeslee Corners. The dining area has a lot of tables and booths that are spaced apart nicely. It was clean and well-heated, especially for December in the Poconos. The menu had a lot of choices and the prices were very reasonable. Our food was very good and the portions were large. The night we were there quite a few other people were dining inside and they had a huge takeout business. We will definitely go back to this place.
