First let me state that Tillman's Village Inn has been a favorite of mine for over twenty years. I save eating at Tillman's for our very special occasions. We've never had anything but the best of service, the best of food and an overall best dining experience. BUT that all ends now!
We dined last Saturday, August 19th to celebrate our 6th Anniversary. Everything about the evening was over the top wonderful. The host was kind and gracious, the waitress was attentive and always available. The Crab Cakes we ordered were delicious. Our dinner was so good and plentiful that we had to take the left over Crab Cakes home.
So what's the problem you ask? Well here it is. When we reheated the left over Crab Cakes and sat down at home to eat them, we found a shard of glass in the Crab Cake. I have posted a photo of the shard on this site.
Finding the glass shard we instantly called Tillman's to advise them and warn them that there may be contaminated Crab Cakes they should check.
What was the reaction? None! No apology! No Inquiry! No request for a name and contact information! The indifference to what just happened to us warrants that I report this incident on TripAdvisor.
Needless to say Tillman's is now off of our dining list. And we will caution anyone who inquiries about Tillman's of our experience with glass shards in the Crab Cakes.
Sorry Tillman's your indifference to what happened to us is too much to tolerate.

I usually review Tim Hortons restaurants favorably, and I have had several prior stops into this particular store that have been nice as well. However, this past Sunday was crazy. I wanted to purchase a cup of coffee and a pastry, so I went into the Albion Tim Hortons and approached the counter. There was only one person working the counter...a young man who was down at the part of the counter where you pick up your drinks. (I was up at the area where you place your order.) The server had already given the customer her drink, but he was still chatting with her...and chatting, and chatting. You'd think that after a couple of minutes of chatting about the local social scene, this "server" would eventually come up and take my order. Nope. He was just enjoying the conversation, totally ignoring me. After a period of time that I would estimate at five minutes, I gave up. (The female customer glared at me for having the nerve to interrupt their social hour by wanting coffee.)
This was a completely wasted visit that dropped my opinion of this store by about a mile. If they don't want my business, than I will find somewhere else to get my coffee.

What a way to end the day! The food was delicious and the service fabulous. The small dining area is cozy and charming. Our server (Stella) was fantastic, knowledgeable and had good timing. The meal was over the top. A four of us had different meals with the same position results (great job Chefs). If you are in the Medina area or traveling between Buffalo and Rochester make Zambistro's a stop for dinner. Slightly pricey but worth it!

Great breakfast. Special 2 x triple had a tremendous amount of food at a reasonable price. The vegetable cheese omelet was chock full of good vegetables. The service was quite fast, and the waitress was the most enthusiastic I've seen in years. Didn't love their background music.

We enjoy dining on the varied menu served on the open air patio in the warm weather. Wintertime dining inside was a bit chilly but the food is generally well prepared and not standard fare. Home made soups and the fresh chips are a refreshing break from standard fare. I was served a rather poor steak, requiring me to saw it rather than a couple slices with the knife. The staff are friendly and the facilities are kept spotless. Given the limited dining choices in the area, this restaurant is very popular with the community

We stop by this place often to buy their own grass fed beef and locally grown pork and grain feed beef and eggs, vegetables and fruit. They serve mainly short-order food. Especially like their chili and ice cream

I had family visiting from Oahu, Hawaii. It was a rainy cold day at the lake after a week of sunny weather in the 80s. My brother-in-law had a yen for a calzone. They can't get calzones in Hawaii. I had him check out the menu options at Mark's in Albion. They placed an on-line order for delivery to Carlton. Their order arrived quickly and it exceeded my brother-in-laws expectations. It even got a thumbs up from my 16 yr old niece who is quite picky. They ordered a three calzones, mozzarella sticks and fried dough. The crust was perfect combo of soft and crunchy. The fillings were ample and came with choice of two free dipping sauces. The amount of fried dough that came as one order was HUGE, more than family-sized. The leftovers of everything is enough for another full meal. They wish Mark's would open in Oahu or will you delivery to zip code 96782? Having lived on several continents and in many U.S. states, my brother-in-law declared this the best calzone ever! When they visit again, you can be sure they will order from Mark's.

I stopped into this small-town Italian pizzeria today for lunch, and got basically what I expected, which was an about-average meal served in about-average time by about-average service. The dining room is very plain, and there is no table service for ordering. You walk through a line where you order and pay for your food, although it is brought to your table by a server, who was friendly.
For lunch, I ordered something called a Harvest Salad, which contained candied walnuts, apple slices, pear slices, and more, under a coating of crumbled blue cheese. Actually, for the price it wasn't bad, although nothing (including the dressing) really stood out. The pizza in the display looked a bit on the tired side, although I'm sure it tasted OK.
I believe that I would dine here again if in Albion, because there really isn't much else besides a weary-looking Chinese restaurant and the standard fast food burger joints. I'm not saying that I'd recommend this place, but it does put acceptable food in your belly.

The restaurant its self has a bit to be desired as far as atmosphere, but the food is always great. Same family has run it for years . This has been the only Chinese food that is consistent And always tastes good. We get take-out and its always fast and hot.

I attended the annual titanic ball at the pillars this year, what a wonderful experience. The attention to authentic detail was amazing and there was such a wonderful atmosphere. A fabulous setting for a fabulous event
