This was a charming place inside a characteristic trulli ( white bottle style house). The antipasto was delicious but the pasta dishes were average. The service was good at the beginning but towards the end of our meal it slowed down probably due to the fact that it was very busy that particular Sunday afternoon. The prices were reasonable and would recommend it for a traditional Italian meal.

We were a table of 6 and were looked after really well by the waiting staff.
Very full menu. We opted for the tasting menu, which is astoundingly good value at €25 euros. For this you get:
- Plentiful bread (the tomato focaccia was stunning
- 3 appetisers on a plate (aubergines, turnip tops and cheese featured)
- 2 consecutive pasta courses (ravioli and orzo type pasta with asparagus)
- Steak with rocket and Parmesan, accompanied by rosemary roast potatoes
- puff pasty dessert with custard filling
-large glass of local wine (delicious)
- 75cl bottle of water per person
Every course was absolutely delicious - albeit a little cheese heavy.
I was so impressed with the quality, the value and the service. Full marks Fidelio!!

You know what it is like when you strike up a rapport with staff at ba restaurant or hotel. Suddenly everybody opens up. The maitre d becomes jolly, the waiter is one of your family. We had a table on the edge of the Terrace which was lovely & escaped the crowd inside.
A shared antepasto was chosen & started with the usual cold collation & then hot plates came out & then plate after plate of fresh local offerings, each one more special than the last. finally we said "enough"! The mains were good but were far eclipsed by the initial courses.
Absolutely fabulous food & service.

If you want to indulge in local dishes, go to this lovely trattoria close to the central square of Alberobello. The setting is very pleasant and the food is great, at correct prices. Booking a table in high season is recommended.

Wow! The owners of the Trullo where we are staying recommended this fabulous restaurant and they swiftly responded to my email booking request.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch, surrounded by Italian families and couples and found the service and food to be consistent and excellent.
As we were leaving, an Italian man and his English partner sat next to us and he expressed his surprise at us "finding the best restaurant in the area"...... and he's local.
Go! I can't believe you won't enjoy.
We're already planning a return.

Dropped in here whilst visiting Alberobello. Handy spot, tables and chairs outside and in the morning Sunshine. Lovely location.
We just ordered coffees in the morning and these were served with a smile and promptly and tasted good. Used the bathroom which was unusually decorated, and clean. We were hoping to have gelato on our way back to the car, but it was closed around lunchtime. So disappointed. Perhaps it was because we were there in low season, but it was a good time to visit Alberobello.

Don 't let the simple atmosphere fool you. If you dine here, you are in for a divine treat. This place is for meat-lovers, of course, so not for vegetarians! First, you go and pick out your meat from the butcher shop. I recommend the figatini and the shish-kebabs of meat with cheese inside. They are grilled to perfection! We had a green "ensalada" and some red local wine with our meal. We were more than satisfied. Nuncia, who waited on us, was so friendly and helpful! Even with a bit of a language barrier, we were able to communicate. We loved our meal here and highly recommend it to others! Don't miss this place!

Very, very smooth ice cream, delicious flavours. Available in cones or 'coppa'. The shop also sells cakes and pastries, go in the morning if you wish to buy these. Near a tiny square with a few seats in the shade for munching and relaxing. Lovely!

il Ristorante accetta prenotazione per la cena dalle ore 19.30 alle ore 20.30. Il ristorante si riserva il diritto di liberare il tavolo riservato dopo 15 minuti dal mancato arrivo.
This small restaurant proved to be a gem. The dishes are varied and reflect some of the typical dishes of the region. They are attractively presented but more nouvelle cuisine than hearty. We found the staff friendly and helpful. It is moderately expensive but we considered it to be good value when the standard of food and presentation is considered. We enjoyed an excellent bottle of primitivo with the meal.
