If you come Sakarya City in Turkey, first off all try "Islama Kofte" it is traditional local meatball. No hot, no spicy, no unusual but delicious. The bread is specially prepared in hot vegetative oil and tomato paste. Do not forget to ask "Şıra" with meatball. The Şıra is fermented grape juice without alcohol.
After Islama Kofte, ask pumpkin desert.

The restaurant is old look like down at heel but dont stumble! This is the one of the oldest Islama Köfte (The Traditional Meatball of Sakarya( Restaurant.
The meatballs are delicous. Just try with bean salad. It is called "Piyaz" which is cold dish made with dried beans, chopped onions, parsley, and olive oil.

We have our dinner on our first night in Sakarya because it was next to the hotel we were staying. The server try their best to help with the menu though their English is limited. I ate chicken schnitzel and my husband ate vegetarian pizza. The food came fresh and nicely done. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Islama köfte ve kaymaklı ekmek kadayıfı iyiydi. Köfte porsiyonu 14 tl ..Daha uygun yerler varmış çevrede. İsim yapmış bir yer olduğundan burayı tercih ettik. Ben çok fazla bir özellik göremedim.

Before you reach at Adapazarı city center you can have a break. The area is very nice, you feel you are out of the city. The area is green and there are ducks in small pools. Get a coffe here do not eat something only fast-foods, toasts and ordinary foods.

This is a garden restaurant, of course the closed area is possible but the atmosphere of the garden is very nice. Although it is on a crowded Street when you go in the garden you can forget the traffic outside.
We had a dinner in Ramadan, it is so diffucult to serve 200 people at the same time. There are some late service but it is ok.
Hacivat-Karagöz (Historical characters) was a good idea for children play.
Unfortunately the foods are not similar with the atmosphere:
Soup was delicious,
Rice was like dough,
Meat was mixed some of them hard, some of nice,
Desert was European and successfull,
Sherbet is favourite...

Established at 1912, Meshur Kofteci Mustafa is the birth place of a local dish called "islama kofte".
When I was going to high school " islama kofteci mustafa" only first choise of lunch restaurant for students. Nothing is changed in years , all product still tasty and in budged. Small meatballs will be served on the bread slices immersed boiled bone water. As a soft drink "şıra"fermented grapes syrup must be uniq choise with meatball. Menu standstill same on years and service style not changed as well as customers. There are few side dish or appetizer in service and you will encoy to eat meatball with grilledbread slices. I am not going to try anywhere when i am talking "islama kofte"any other place at Adapazari. Depend on the seasonal changes in year menu get some additional side dish only. $ price service speed will shocked you in a small place when it is crowd. There is car parking area at the back yard , restaurant inside decoration and service styl stayed same you will feel yourself in restaurant at the better service speed then self service restaurant and much more familier than the others.
