This review is for "FONDRAGONPEARL CHINESE & SUSHI" at the Hilton.
This is by far the best chinese in Adana. the duck served with pancakes, hoisin sauce, etc is authentic and very good. We had the duck, sizzling beef, crispy beef, prawn toast, calamaris, Sichuan prawns and noodles. The sizzling beef was the best. Over all it was a good meal, we had so much food, and tons of leftover, $100 for 4 people.

It is one of the popular kebab houses popular among locals in Adana. It serves similar kebab varieties as the other famous kebab restaurants around.
Fast service. No big deal with the food.
Telling the truth I had way better kebabs in other cities and even countries.

Our second stop was located in the new part of the city. It was a more luxurios venue than Mahmut. We ordered grilled liver and goosehead as one portion. Their fresh ayran was very foamy and successful. Our table was fulled a lot of offering plates more than as it was in the morning. Onion with sumac, grilled onion, peppers and tomato, cucumber with dried yoghurt, greeneries, salad without lemon, pasted tomato. Our table was suddenly coloured. Here's liver was more delicious than Mahmut also goosehead too. It is name of the bigger chopped meat than diced meat. The cost was 50 ₺.

Kebapçi Şeyhmus
It's in the centre of Adana. I should say it is a tradesman's restaurant, which means, whose customers are tradesmen working in the same area and eat outside everyday. Turnip juice was excellent. Lamb and liver were good.

I heard their names at Istanbul, but everything including service, taste, food quality, ambiance are below the average.
We were 3 person and main dishes arrived at different times and unbeliavably cold ( look like waited before service or refurbished food)
Price was even higher then Istanbul fine dining.

Some may find the place a bit "street food", but without a doubt this is the most delicious Adana kebap on the market. Their mezes were also flawless. Excellent price value ratio.

Great place. Very good food. I also like the liver barbecue sticks. Portions are very generous and you can end up your meal with a pastry from the opposite place. A place to go.

I ate at CikCik Ali on the way to the airport and enjoyed my experience immensely. Ali personally welcomed his guests and the staff were friendly. Even through there is a language barrier for those who don't speak Turkish, Ali serves guests a selection of items, all of which are exquisitely grilled and exceptionally delicious. I requested for lamb skewers (kusu sis) and this was served with the traditional adana kebap offering which was nicely spiced. 4 side dishes accompanied the main meal. Instead of lavash, CikCik Ali serves a thicker form of bread.
Where CikCik Ali really surprised me was on my departure. I read that they had a credit card machine and thus only prepared enough Turkish Lira for the cab to the airport. Unfortunately their machine did not accept internationally issued cards. I offered to get more cash from a nearby ATM but Ali simply told me that the meal would be on the house. I ended up giving him my remaining Turkish Lira (about 3/4 the cost of the meal) but the generosity of his offer left an even better taste in my mouth.
I cannot recommend CikCik Ali highly enough. Pay him a visit on your next visit, I know I will.
