We had a very pleasant meal here. The starters were tasty. Mains were well flavoured. Our particular favourite was the Laal Maas. Warned that this would be hot, it was, we enjoyed the spicy depth to the dish. Followed by kulfi and gulag jamins always winners.

Andrea has been a family business for over 40 years who moved to New Giza october 2015, where you can enjoy a better view with elegant architecture of Omar Rateb Design, the origin of the original chicken charcoaled in oregano abundant marination which can be served in half chicken portion with bones or boneless (full chicken) or skewers of small pieces of chicken. Quails are also available. The pre-main dishes are a great variety of starters that Andrea is also famous for, small round freshly baked bread is also one of the good memories this restaurant leaves for any kind of visitor. The chickens and quails are grilled by the entrance, so you cannot miss the vast barbeques on your way in or out. Andrea is a vast outdoor restaurant that also has an indoor area. The food has been traditionally served for the past four decades without ever missing a beat. So the food quality is constant. It is a casual place open for brunch, lunch as well as throughout the day until dinner. It also serves wine and beer. It has home Delivery and no other branches in Cairo, though there are a few other places named Andrea that have nothing to do with this genuine and original location. It has only one branch on the Mediterranean coast at the gate of a famous compound named Hacienda, but you do not need to enter the compound to enter the restaurant that has a street entrance.
Best family breakfast in town. It was after years of going to Andrea with the family for the grilled chicken that I found out about the Breakfast. Amazing menu of feteer meshalteet, eggs with pastrami, foul, falafel and white cheese. The freshly baked bread is out of this world.
A must try but you have to call in advance to book.

This is my second visit to Indigo. Again I had a very good meal, I took a meat dish this time, the most expensive they had and still very fairly priced. But more important, it was delicious.
The atmosphere is nice, modern and with dimmed light, what I like a lot.
A place I will surely return. Hope it gets more customers, Gabriella the Italian owner and her staff deserve that.

This place used to have the best service in the area. We used to go there a few time every WEEK! They knew us by names. So we were as loyal as it gets. But guess what, we once showed up at 1:15PM and they denied to serve us breakfast as it was 15 minutes past they "breakfast time"! Give us a break! So they wouldn't strech their rules for their most loyal customers! Come on, we are in Egypt where 15 minutes don't mean that much but even in the US or Europe restaurant would value their most loyal customers and would go the extra mile to keep them happy. What a shame!

Adagio is an italian word that means slowly, and it's also a tempo marking indicating that music is to be played slowly. But our Adagio mix that concept with an high level tradition of italian sweet food. We're a ice cream, chocolate and coffee shop, all in one cafe. Adagio is a shop where you can eat or drink with your friends and cafe where you can bring what you want to your home.
One of best ice cream in Egypt — the flavor is sooo tasty and natural — the price is somehow expensive

There are three reasons why you'd end up at Yasmk: you are staying at The Hilton Resort, you have searched for a clandestine meeting spot, or you have ended up hungry in the middle of nowhere. Walking up the featureless sidewalk to the restaurant, it seems like it maybe was a bad choice but once inside there's a very pleasant atmosphere in the darkened rooms. There are quaint decorations for the ladies and soccer playing on big muted screens for the men. Traditional music was coming through the speakers. When we were there for an early dinner, only three other tables were being serviced. Thursdays and Fridays are when the belly dancers use that small floor and I imagine it gets busier and louder. We ordered the appetizer tray of various Egyptian nibbles and that went over well with the three of us. The service and presentation were nicer than what you'd get in restaurants that cater only to the locals. The prices were of course higher and I can't say that the food was remarkably better than what Giza's other restaurants serve. Our main entrees were again presented well and I saw and tasted that effort was made. Someone tried and that's appreciated. The lamb dish was seasoned well but not cooked as expertly as the chicken dish we also ordered. The chicken was so plentiful that I can't see how only one person could eat it all and I was very thankful that it was being shared. Eating at Yasmk had been envisioned with a plan to walk around the grounds of the Hilton afterwards. An after dinner walk in lovely surroundings is always a joy, however the Hilton has a very strange set-up. It is not an attractive place to wander around. We soon left; full and mostly satisfied. To sum up, if you fall into one of those three categories, want higher than average food quality, service and solitude above basic food with lower prices, then Yasmk is fine.

This is a proper Latin American bistro. It has all the usual Tex-Mex favourites, but good selection of dishes from all over Latin America as well. They taste delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. The layout is not big, but trendy without being too much. Well worth a visit.

Family ate dinner here for our last night in Cairo. Beautiful location directly on the Nile at the northern tip of Zamalek island. Ok food but given the very good prices (1200LE) for four of us to include drinks we believed it provided a great value. If you want a table next to the water you must ask for it in your reservation otherwise, like us, you'll have one several feet away. Waiters were very attentive and we had a cat begging from us at our table which we thought was somewhat charming. Overall if your visiting Cairo I'd recommend you try this as a place to take in the atmosphere for an evening. You'll enjoy it.

Was there for lunch. Very friendly people. Unfortunately the selection of sushi was extremely limited although what was there was of very good quality except for the chicken yakitory. It was dry and not on a skewer, I think it was processed, preshaped chicken. No maguru {tuna} sushi. Ambience nice with quiet background music
Nice big windows if you happen to sit by the window viewing the fairly busy roundabout. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and accessible only through a cafe / bakery. In all a bit disappointing.
