The hotel is not deserving 4 stars. Hotel room & amenities: Not clean, very old, the bed sheet got stained everywhere, the hotel has maintenance equipment scattered everywhere, the pool water was slightly green colour so we do not use it at all. There are water feature next to the KOI pond that made with paint buckets. Service: Bad service, the hotel manager Rama does not want to help when we encountered problem, and he assured follow up but never come back to us. Overall, horrible experience, will never go back.

STRAWBERRY PARK RESORT is located 6,000 feet above sea level in Cameron Highlands where the air is clear, cool and invigorating. The resort offers an extensive range of facilities, which includes 146 rooms, and suites, 6 Food & Beverage outlets and a variety of recreational facilities including an indoor swimming pool and a spa called Wild Orchidaceae Spa. It is a resort where holidays are forever.
The hotel is great and the rooms are really nice and spaceous. The complimentary cup of lemongrass tea at the reception made us feel welcome. The dinner was great and the drinks afterwards atthe bar were good. The pool area has a sauna, too - unlucky for us, the whole pool was full of screaming dutch people well after operating hours so we had no chance to try it out.

Sky, sea and sun provide a peaceful backdrop to a landscape so alluring it stirs the emotions. The vivid colours of nature's palette glow in the soft tropical light accenting the purity of air, water and land. From the colors of the sunset, to soothing air greeting you with a warm embrace; the family and kids friendly Swiss- Garden Beach Resort, Kuantan, offers sensual delights at every turn with a beautiful beach front, fun and enjoyable kids club as well as a fun-filled splash pool perfect for family staycation.
We spent 3 nights here and were quite underwhelmed and disappointed. While it's understandable that Covid and the lockdowns took a toll on all hotels, the Swiss Garden Beach Resort just looks dirty and dishevelled. The private beach was not cleaned during our whole stay - empty drink bottles, masks and cigarette butts that greeted us on the first day were still there on the last. The hotel was fully booked and staff could obviously not keep up - people kept using the pools without rinsing after the beach and wearing sweatpants instead of proper swimming attire. Housekeeping never managed to clean our room properly (see pictures of what we found post cleaning). All in all, the prices they charge should warrant much better service.

Breathtaking landscape, nature walks and golf Located at mid-hill, the Resorts World Awana is nestled in lush green environment with a view of the majestic mountain range. Activities include nature walks and golf at the unique 18-hole course. The hotel is just a two-minute drive from the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets.
This was not my first time here. Was surprised that the resort charges its own guests for parking now. And it's not cheap, RM3 per hour, for an old dodgy carpark that is still not connected to the hotel itself but also had the signs pointing wrong directions to the lobby. Also, they locked doors to the staircases they shouldn't have and didn't block off parts they should, which was frustrating, unsafe and confusing at night. I ended up spending almost RM100 on parking alone in this trip for less than 48 hours. On top of all that, the autopay machine only accepts cash notes below RM50. #pengsanman As for the room, well, there were typical problems as well. The balcony plants still had cigars and cigarette butts in them and it smells like smoke. The air cond remote didn't work. The colour indication for the hot/cold water is correct for sink but incorrect for the shower. Sigh... the WiFi is not very consistent either. I was also disappointed that all the sports activities are no longer available and are demolished for construction. The photos on Agoda made me think they still exist. Felt like I was scammed. Thankfully, the pool is still heater although the jacuzzi portion is never on anymore :(

The Barat Tioman's Recreation Centre offers nature-inspired adventures such as scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boards, guided jungle trekking & more for guests to explore
Not enough food provided during the stay. The room I booked and topped up (around RM200+) for part seaview (deluxe room) but got only part pool view. And I have been told most of the deluxe room is pool view, only 2 rooms are with a little seaview which is first come first served. I was wondering my room is similar to standard room (which stated in the information side with pool view), however the staff told me that standard room is far and without pool view, there are garden/hill view. It is a huge misleading information on website and to agent. The staff who served me is not friendly. I do not enjoy the stay, it does not worth for the money I paid.

Tioman is an island befitting the stars. Whether you seek relaxation or adrenaline, we’ve got you covered. With miles of secluded palm-fringed beaches, clear turquoise waters, abundant marine life, misty mountains and lush greenery, savour each moment as you indulge in one of the world’s most beautiful islands where ‘Bali Hai’ was filmed in the Hollywood classic ‘South Pacific’, in addition to the recent Hong Kong TV Series ‘The Ultimate Goal’.
Great chalet. Clean and spacious. Delicious food..we had all our meals there...including afternoon tea...which was scrumptious. Every meal we had was tasty and did not have that sad hotel food taste. Had morning yoga with Bruce who was such fun and he was so very helpful at suggesting what else we could do ...and there were SWINGS on the beach! Nice big swings that we sat on every evening and morning and everytime we walked to the beach. We had also had the aromatherapy massage and that was simply lovely. The short snorkeling trip at pulau Renggis was great and the boatmen were kind and polite . Had a wonderful holiday and I hope to go back again one day

Situated in a rainforest at the southern tip of Tioman Island, Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort Tioman Island and its private beach provide a lush escape for sun seekers. With the island's serenity enveloping the resort, and with sights that include a view of the island's approximately 1,000 year old rainforest terrain, our resort's 54 villas are blessed with a natural ambience that's difficult to beat. Choose from villas with sea views, rainforest views or garden views and go face to face with marine life and admire soft corals, sea urchins, turtles, clown fish and even reef sharks in the clear turquoise waters in front of the resort. The resort also has Tioman Island's only infinity pool for seaside lounging, and it provides activities like jungle trekking (towards Asah Waterfalls and the twin peaks) and pizza making and batik painting.
Had a 3D 2N stay , i understand that it is post pandemic now , i suggest that the resort hire more people to accommodate the incoming influx of guest. 1) Room service - Horrible , had to remind them constantly to clean the room. And the sheets of the beds were only made and changed every other day ( not daily ) ( apparently there is only 3 people working and it is difficult ) 2) Food - The menu and the waiting duration for the food at the resort café is ridiculous. The staff seemed over whelmed with the number of people and influx of orders. Apart from these 2 short comings - the location and the resort facility itself is good. will definitely consider another trip there. hopefully the food and room service issue is sorted.

JapaMala is Tioman Island’s only boutique resort, and one-of-a-kind in Malaysia. This small and exclusive resort of 13 rooms is hidden amidst 11 acres of lush tropical rainforest. A one-village-one-resort property, JapaMala has its own private and quiet beach. While some charming Malay village-style villas and chalets dot the jungle and beachfront, others nestle in the most breath-taking spots.Best described as an ‘eco-luxe’ resort, JapaMala transcends the experience of living close to nature by redefining it with a touch of luxury. Designed by natural streams, steep cliffs, towering boulders and where no trees are felled, the entire resort borrows from nature its elements to offer an exceptional sense of paradise, freedom from the real world. While serious relaxation is an elusive commodity for many, one can truly succumb to the healing effects JapaMala imparts through its holistic blend of sumptuous gourmet treats, intimacy between man and nature, unique spa experiences and truly unprecedented hospitality. Many say JapaMala is not just a place, but a state of mind.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Japamala Tioman and our vacation turns out as what we have imagined. We were fetched from the arrival jetty to Japamala which is only a short distance away on their speed boat and welcomed by their very friendly staff Bell and Zai and other staff already waiting at Japamala jetty which is their most iconic spot. We love the resort ambiance - feels tranquil, calm, serene and we could just lay down under the gazebo not realizing the time passes by quickly. We love love love our sea cliff chalet with the balcony overlooking the jetty. We enjoyed the daily evening drinks / cocktails served at the Mandi Mandi Restaurant cum the jetty and looked forward to it everyday during out stay. We have no complaint about the food / menu - selections from Tamarind and Tempio are equally interesting. We enjoyed the hike from Japamala to the nearby village which was not a walk in the park but was interesting and challenging nevertheless. We feel many parts of the wooden bridges should be repaired / change to make the trail safer. The only disappointment was that the trail to the view point is closed as we were told it was not safe as the wooden steps leading to the view point were broken. All resort staff were friendly and I had an enjoyable time chatting with Zai. We loved it here and we will not hesitate to come back here again in the future.
