We are a holiday resort and special events venue with capacity for 170 guests in our selection of stunning holiday cottages in South West France. Our resort offers golf, tennis, multiple heated swimming pools, children's pool, play areas, children's club Bar, restaurant and a range of sports and leisure activities.
This is I believe our 7th visit to Longeveau over a 30 year period and it only gets better. The gites are lovely, the setting is idyllic - peaceful and within easy reach of interesting places to visit. The facilities are excellent and all within a short stroll. Richard, Olivia and the team make you very welcome and if you want a quiet break for 2 or an extended family holiday for all ages it’s perfect

Les Picardies is a handsome 15th century manor house offering chambres d'hote and an optional fully licensed table d'hote. There is around one hectare of gardens and a lake, set in beautiful rural surroundings on the eastern edge of Charente region in south western France. We can offer table tennis and petanque but we also have two hammocks and plenty of deck chairs and a heated swimming pool! The house is situated on Cycle route 42 and there are plenty of well marked walks in the vicinity. There are two large double rooms, with south facing views, at the front of the house. One with a bath and separate WC and the other with a private shower room and WC. At the back of the house there are a further two large bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded room sharing a shower room and WC. The house comfortably sleeps up to 10 people and there is a very large, comfortable sitting room and a large dining room available for guests. When necessary, there is central heating throughout the house.
Not only is the house, location and surrounding countryside of Les Picardies enchanting, our hosts, Emily and Martin, stopped at nothing to make us feel welcome and totally relaxed. I can still hear the gentle chirping of frogs and smell the soft scent of wildflowers on the spring breeze.

I stayed here in early April for a short cycling break. It was the perfect place for a base to cycle up some of the famous Cols in the Pyrenees. The accommodation was superb and spotlessly clean. The views were breathtaking. The food was all home cooked, beautifully prepared, and just gorgeous! The English couple and their family were so friendly and couldn't have done anything more to make me feel more welcome and at home, the kids even gave me a hug when i left. P.S. bird watching paradise to boot...watched a Beaded Vultures fly over the house!!

It was our first visit to France, and we enjoyed our trip so much because of such hartley people as Olwen and Mike. They are were very nice and friendly. Interesting people and excellent hosts. They responded very quickly and gave us useful recommendations how to get to their place. The apartment in their summer house (gites) is very clean and comfortable. We found there everything we needed, and felt ourselves as at home. The house itself neighbours the forest. The best choice for the travellers from the big city as we are. You listen to the bird singing in the morning, and look at the stars at night and breath the fresh air, of course. It's very easy and fast (30 minute ride) to get to the attractions of Dordogne valley from Nieudegat Gites. The views are amazing. And we'll never forget the picturesque landscapes of Perigord and our kind and hospitable hosts. We would like to visit Nieudegat Gites again for sure. Thank you so much, Olwen and Mike. We spent a week at Le Club Vert Perigord in June 2017. It is located just outside the town of Sarlat, France. It is up a steep hill in a quiet location nestled in woodland - not walking distance to the town as a steep climb back up the hill. The campsite consists of chalets and mobile homes. Small, quiet and safe - perfect for young families. There is a lovely pool and a small play area with swings and slide. Also there is an area for badminton, table tennis and boules. In need of some TLC as a little run down but our mobile home was very clean and had all the utensils and all the equipment for self catering. There is no air con so very hot if weather good - veranda outside mobile home very nice to have a drink at night. Owners are lovely and very helpful, you can book canoe trips through them and order fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast. A lovely base to explore the beautiful area.Value for money.

At the crossroads of the departments of Correze, Lot and Cantal, "Les Hameaux de Miel" is situated at the top of a hill, 520m above sea level in the heart of the peacefull Limousin forest, close to the charming village of Beynat. In an exceptional environment, this is a quiet and peaceful hamlet where you can enjoy the lake and two swimming pools. Ideas for tours, excursions and discoveries will be submitted at the reception. Here you will be able to visit charming typical villages, many touristic sites and discover beautiful nature. THE RESORT : The resort of > consists of 98 chalets located on 9 Ha. The chalets are equipped with: a kitchen with hotplates, refrigerator, microwave / grill and dishwasher, living room with sofa bed (except for cottages for 4 persons), two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and sink, toilet and a terrace with outdoor furniture.
so this is difficult to judge, as the small homes are ok, there is a lot of space between each home, so thats great. But the beds are crap, and I mean, backpain old, need a chiropractor after holiday kinda beds. The parc is rather quiite, so if you want to enjoy the rest, this is perfect. However, the homes are a bit noise, so if you run into a family with a few kids who are active at 07.30, in the morning, your done... The pool, this is the biggest disappointment of the parc. Loose tiles make it dangerous to walk along the pool. there are 2 pools, 1 outside and 1 'indoor' which means there is cap over the pool made of plastic walls, which makes it very noisy. the parc is situated just around a great lake ' etange de Miel' which is lovely. The water is fresh, a very well kept lake with a lot of entertainment for youth. We have not seen it very busy during our stay, which was mid-summer at temp at 30C. As a resident of the parc you'll get free parking for the this lake. Facilities in the parc are brought down to a minimum, there is an opportunity to order bread in the morning, and there is 'bar' which is not cozy to have a beer. The best in this parc are the people who can tell you where to go. Very nice and helpfull people, who take the time to show you through the large amounts of materials of castles grotto's and museum. We went with 2 adult kids, and for this the home is just to small. The masterbedroom has a 2 person bed with a big pit in the middle, so we ended up sleeping seperate. we had a nice time, but not coming back. For this money what we paid, I would have expected a bit more 'up to date' facility as they currently offer.

Chateau Rigaud is not a hotel but does provide fully staffed and serviced luxury accommodation with chic decor and outstanding facilities which include private cinema with 3 metre screen, cool bar, spa treatment room and swimming pool. Four hundred thread count linen and REN products in the bathrooms, it's really very lovely.
Cannot recommend highly enough!! We attended a weekend wedding. There was nothing more the staff could have done to provide the most magical weekend!! From the stunning venue to the Michelin food…..everything was incredible!! The team have pulled together the most remarkably friendly, efficient and thoughtful staff. They all made our time spent there all the more special with their seamless attendance to detail. Honestly can’t praise them enough….and as a vegetarian I have never had such delicious meals at a wedding!! Wonderful weekend…thank you, you should be very proud!

La Garenne is a family friendly gite complex with 6 newly renovated gites set in a large garden. All the gites are fully equipped to a high standard. Lots of care has been taken to maintain the buildings old charming character such as exposed beams and charentaise stone walls. We have two heated pools fenced and gated with a child safe gate system. There are plenty of sun loungers and pool toys. If you prefer to sit in the shade by the pool you will find a covered area with sofas, just the right place to sit . Swimming lessons and kids club is offered for the children. Catering options such as a weekly welcome BBQ on a Monday evening in the garden and a weekly 3 course meal brought to your gite for you to enjoy on your private patio are all extra services to make your holiday special. Also you can have a fresly made meal delivered to your gite on arrival day. All you need to do is heat it up when you are ready to dine, so no need to think about food shopping on your first day.
Our family (daughters 4 & 7) stayed here in July 2020. It was our first experience staying at a gite and wasn’t sure how it would be during the corona times. I had read great reviews about the layout perfect for families and even with the “kids club/activities” canceled because of covid, the week was amazing! I wasn’t sure if it was possible for parents to have a relaxing time -even though you’re on holiday, you’re still cooking, cleaning, watching the kids - but we really did! The best part of La Garenne is the safe layout, outdoor space & amenities (trampoline, bikes, field that doubles as soccer field, ping pong, playing structure, enclosed pool and small heated toddler pool) that naturally let kids enjoy themselves and quickly make friends with the others kids staying. We could grill (homemade pizza is our fav) and eat outside while kids were free to be kids. We are Americans living in Netherlands and met French, British, and South African families during our stay - it was lovely talking & enjoying wine while the kids played, splashed or roasted marshmallows! One final shout out to Dorte and Richard (and their son Oscar) who made the visit extra special- between recommendations for local excursions, shops and swimming lessons for our daughters (& husband) - they are the ultimate hosts! Our girls still talk about the gite months later and we will definitely be back!

We spent 7 days here for a birthday week with friends. The Gite is a stunning building and in a very convenient location for Sarlat, La Roque Gageac, Beynac etc. The hosts were very friendly. There were 3 bottles of wine, cheese and butter in the fridge and milk too, which was a nice touch and very welcome. It is quite a spacious Gite, although it says it can sleep 9 we felt it would be a tad cramped. It has a nice pool outside outside which is very useful on a hot day! You can hear noise from across the road from an Amusement Parc but it's not too bad. I would say the Gite is a little tired inside and needs updating and it also needs a bit of a clean, although towels and bedding were fine...hence I wouldn't give it 5 stars.

Translated as the Mill of Chazotte (the river on which we are based), we are a 16th century French watermill offering beautiful, family friendly self catering holiday accommodation. Our four exclusive gites are brimming with charm and character whilst offering all the modern comforts and facilities to ensure you have a relaxing and rewarding holiday. The gites vary in size, from La Principale (the main house) which sleeps up to 7 people - perfect for families. Or for a couple looking for a more romantic, private stay, Le Chai, which is a cosy one bedroom hideaway. All gites have their own private terrace but also offer access to 12 acres of grounds and facilities, including the large heated swimming pool (12m x 6m) and a variety of outdoor activities and games. Located in blissful rural tranquility within the Poitou-Charente region on the French Atlantic coast, only 10 minutes away from historic Cognac and a short drive to the nearest village with that all important local boulangerie. This picturesque region is steeped in Roman and Medieval history and is known for its sleepy villages, Romanesque churches, heritage towns, as well as for the famous and delicious Cognac drink of course.
we stayed here for 2 weeks in Le Hibou. The most relaxing holiday we've ever had!! We had plans to go out & about but the pool & gite were so fabulous we thought why move? Well appointed gite with everything you need,in the middle of beautiful countryside but only 5 mins to local village. Rowan & Laura are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Hope to return one day.
