L.A. is so big – how are you going to see the city in one day? Easy! Join our LA in a Day tour and see 3 completely different neighborhoods of the city - Hollywood, downtown and Santa Monica. There’s no breezing through on buses with a pre-recorded audio commentary playing (which is always out of sync), on this tour we show you the hidden nooks and crannies of the city that other tour companies don’t (including 7 different venues that have held the Academy Awards Ceremony) and give you a feel for the real Los Angeles. We're pioneers of the all day metro and walking tour of Los Angeles. Why did we create it? Because we want you to feel like you're an Angeleno for the day and to fall in love with the city like we did. * Tour starts 10 am daily * Travel on Los Angeles Metro included in ticket price * There’s a big range of food options and all types of diet can be accommodated (vegan, gluten-free etc)
Inclusions: Travel on Los Angeles Metro is included in ticket price., Tour Guide
Exclusions: Gratuities not included. Please allow 15-20%., Lunch/Snacks are not included.
I really enjoyed my tour with Damien. I've lived in Los Angeles for a long time but did not know a lot of the history of the city and Damien explained the background of how LA became LA. Stunning views of Los Angeles, from downtown to Santa Monica. Free parking at the Greek Theatre parking lot (when there aren't any events). Bring water (they do give you a bottle), hat, sunscreen. I was lucky and the day was overcast but it can get really hot there. Uphill walk for about 20 minutes so if you're not in shape, this is not the tour for you. Then the rest is pretty easy. Due to COVID, the Griffith Observatory is closed right now so you can't go inside. Good tour for locals (especially if you're not familiar with Griffith Park) and tourists.

Highlights of this day tour include the mining town of Jerome, the historic Copper Art Museum in Clarkdale, and stunning views from your first-class seat and a delicious lunch at the Verde Canyon Railroad. After the pickup, our first major tour stop will be the historic mining town of Jerome. Soon after we'll visit the copper mining mecca of Clarkdale and the Arizona Copper Art Museum. From the museum, we will tour the historic Verde Canyon Railroad for a chance to be a part of that history. The very first tracks were put down over 100 years ago to transport local workers and ore mined from the surrounding Jerome mountains and are still in use today. With stunning views of the Verde Valley from either your first-class seats or your open-air viewing car, the casual elegance of the train allows guests to discover the heritage uniqueness of the landscape and its diverse ecosystem.
Inclusions: Bottled water, Appetizers aboard the Verde Canyon Railway, All Fees and Taxes, Professional, local guide, Pickup and Dropoff, Verde Canyon Railroad First-Class Tickets

Worked with Ari and Corey to plan an epic engagement proposal atop Spencer Glacier, as part of a private Heli-Hiking tour. Working with these guys was an extremely easy process. They are very knowledgeable about the area, had great ideas and recommendations in terms of routes and weather (Fall can get dicey in Alaska!), and were very transparent about everything throughout the process. 10/10 would recommend Chugach Adventures to anyone visiting Alaska - they will take care of you 100%

100% recommended. We briefly stopped in Houston on our way back home from New York and decided to book this tour on a whim to see if would see anything before our second flight. Our guide was on time, personable, and very knowledge. She even stopped at multiple neat spots to take photos of the groups who remained social distanced throughout (think either 7 to 8 of us in total so didn't feel packed) A very thorough presentation worth every penny with videos and info to keep you interested and hooked on for more to the last minute. The tour was one of the best walking tours I have ever been on including in my travels to Asia and Europe and served as a lovely introduction into the culture, architecture, and history of city that definitely doesn't seem to promote itself as much as it should.......But maybe that is all of Texas!
