We had lunch here after a long and VERY rainy hike in el Yunque at the end of August/beginning of September 2019. We had a big group of 14 and the restaurant was able to accommodate our party for lunch. Lots of good beer nad drinks, and the talking parrots!, but the highlight of the lunch was the Mfongo. It took time to prepare but it was worth it. Plantains, chicken or beef or shrimp, garlic sauce... delicious!!!! It was a delicious lunch with warm hospitality after a long morning of hiking in the rain!

Pasion was recommended to us by a staff member at the resort we were staying in. Whenever abroad I always ask locals if they could eat anywhere, where would it be. Passion was the immediate answer from several employees. Located outside of Fajardo, Pasion is a very upscale restaurant that specializes in seafood dishes. Our party of four ordered a variety of entrees in order to try as many menu items as possible. The snapper was delicious and the fish presentation was a favorite! From the time we walked in the door the service was excellent and the food was spot on. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries and they were absolutely cooked to perfection and delicious. The restaurant is approximately a 35 minute drive from San Juan and is definitely worth the time.

However the grouper crusted in plantains was delicious, the guava sauce and garlic sauces on our groupers were amazing. The quality and quantity perfect. Service good as well. Small place but worth the wait. Thanks! We invite you to second floor!! Visit our Wine Cellar! Capacity for 80 more people’s!!! Thanks again

It doesn't look like much, but the food was extremely satisfying and the price was incredible. We tried several things (1/2 chicken, pork sausage, pork thighs). Off all that we tried, the chicken was the winner. Pork was a little dry, sausage was a little flavorless. Rice and beans were great. Mofongo was great with the garlic sauce. ALl of this, with drinks (beer) for $40.

We had a delicious lunch at Lluvia - everyone in our party of 5 was thrilled with their food. The servers were extremely friendly, as are the owners. They are well able to accommodate patrons with allergies, as the owner has experience with this in her own family. In additional to delicious meals, we purchased out-of-this-world blueberry muffins to take home for breakfast the next morning, and stopped by for more pastry on another day. This is an elegantly casual place, decorated with local art and gourmet food items for sale. It's located on Palmer's main street, which is filled with interesting shops and restaurants worth visiting.

We had a fantastic lunch at this small, casual cafe after a hike in El Yunque on our first morning in Rio Grande. Waitress was super helpful, happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. Really good vegetarian options—the veggie quesadilla (with avocado and sweet plantain, “El Yunque style”) was amazing! Would definitely return if we stay in Rio Grande again.

Brunch. Bar. Tapas. Featuring an outstanding Porto-American- menu with a touch of European influence in a vintage and cozy atmosphere. The menu is inspired by different cuisine’s specialties and will appeal to a wide and varied clientele.
A group of us have brunch at different places every Sunday. Why we couldn’t have found this gem sooner!!! Everything was wonderful!! Staff is very friendly and quick to put a table together for 10! Several ordered French Toast, chicken & waffles, omelets, and cappuccinos. My French Toast was phenomenal and so was my husband’s omelet! I don’t eat meat and didn’t try the chicken...but from the looks of their plates, I wouldn’t have got the chance! Ekelekua will definitely become a regular brunch stop! This makes our whole month! Thanks so much for sharing this; we look forward to serving you lot again soon =)

Last Sunday August 25, 20019 my friends and I spent few hours in this restaurant. It's a very good rustic place with. In the place there are mango trees, breadfruit, starfruit, bananas, etc. Parking lot.The pizza was made in a wood oven. It was well baked and the sauce light. We chose the one of Prosciutto, manchego and aragula. It was slightly salted. The waiter was very friendly.
