Only stopped for one pint but will come back. Needs a bit of updating. Got the best views of the town centre and for watching the world go by if they put high bar chairs near the windows

Kieran and Caitlin are happy to welcome you to The White Hart. Newly reopened and under new management The White Hart is a gorgeous historic community driven pub in the centre of Wymondham. Serving a brand new menu of piping hot homemade food for all ages
Went with friends for a Carvery on a Sunday open 12-4, we arrived at 3pm & not too much meat left, a little beef & Pork. It was nice food, we all enjoyed it. Just lacking peas & carrots, but maybe they change the choice of vegetables & meat. The staff where all friendly & very quick to respond if we needed anything. A nice pub. Thanks for your feedback Louise! We try as best we can to fully stock our carvery but with our this becoming more popular week on week some weeks we have completely sold out! All our products are fresh and made on the day. We are buying more and more produce every week to accommodate for such a fast growth, so I hope you do come again and find everything you're after. Really glad you enjoyed your meal!

We attended the wedding reception as guests with no idea what The Feathers, or indeed Wymondham were like. Despite it being the hottest day of the year, with temperatures in the thirties, we had a great time. The function room is upstairs and holds probably about 50 people. Food was varied and they catered for the gluten-free and vegetarians without a problem, an important point considering we have several coeliac and gluten intolerant family members.Wymondham was equally impressive, as an anchient market town it was clean and interesting, with historic buildings adorning the town centre.

Letâs get the negative points out the way. Had to wait 45 minutes for meal to be served and staff did not know what a vat receipt is.Now the good stuff. Great atmosphere, clean table, large portion of well cooked food at a reasonable price. The new owners deserve a massive pat on the back.I shall be back

Charming English pub that has a heap of character, partly due to the surrounds and Roger, the barman. Roger entertains his customers with cheeky British humour and delightful parlor tricks. The food is freshly cooked by Julie in a spotless kitchen (my wife popped into the kitchen to thank Julie). Huge servings that were so good. The chocolate pudding (Carnival Cruises has a similar signature desert) is in my opinion better than Carnivals.

We decided to visit here for the first time to celebrate valentines. Upon arriving we used the door which was the one at the front of the pub. We were new to the pub so we stood at the door waiting to be greeted as we had booked a table. On several occasions a waitress walked past us but we were not acknowledged at all which was a bit of a disappointing start. Being complete newbies we weren't sure what to do or what the set up was. After a good 10-15 minutes of waiting we eventually decided to walk into the restaurant and ask at the bar. The pub seems like it has a lot of regular customers who knows the set up, but for those that dont its a bit confusing. During our meal we noticed several people going in and out of the side door which we werent aware of when we arrived. The feel and layout is a traditional pub, with a good amount of tables. The food was excellent quality and portion size, a little on the expensive side as our mains were £14 each but very nice none the less. I would really recommend the battered cajun chicken. The menu is really large with so much choice. The desserts we had were fantastic; I had an icecream brownie mousse cake which was so nice. Overall it was a good first visit and I would return, but I do think staff need to be a little more welcoming and more direction/signs up for people who have not visited before.

Freehouse and Restaurant, Great food, Fine Wines, Craft Beers and Artisan Spirit Range. Dog friendly in the snug and available to hire for any type of celebration. On Sundays we Roast!
Booked for Sunday lunch and having dined here before several times we had good expectations.Arrived and we were told there was no space for us in the bar or dining room so would we eat in the side room. We refused having specified where we would like to be when we ate. Surprisingly a table was found very quickly for us in the dining room - which was half empty. We ordered Sunday Lunch which was pretty awful. The veg and potatoes were obviously reheated or microwaved. The meat was tough. The Yorkshire Puddings a disaster. The gravy was good. Not a success though.I gave feed back and enquired was the manager on holiday or something similar? I was told he was. Also the service was not great - very amateurish. To the Boars credit they deducted one of the meals from the bill. But not what we wanted. A surprise but shows you are only as good as the last experience.

Serving a selection of fine ales, wines and spirits as well as soft drinks in a warm and cosy environment, all are welcome to the Queen's Head, including children and well behaved dogs.
Had heard good things about this place and friends in Wymondham invited us to join them for dinner.Friendly and efficient staff but very noisy environment. My whitebait and steak were fine but some of the other meals left much to be desired. My wife described her chicken supreme as average and our friends chicken had to be sent back as it was cremated. How can a chef possibly serve that up ?

Visited after trip advisor recommendations. My party were all underwhelmed with the experience. The service was incredibly slow, a 40 minute wait for food on a week day lunchtime? With no apology. Another table were complaining about the wait and they had arrived after us. My burger was a very sorry affair. A soggy white floury bap with a burger inside. That was literally it. No lettuce, tomato, gherkin, no relish absolutely nothing. It wasnât even toasted. Extras (cheese, onions, bacon etc) could be bought as add ons but I would expect more of a basic burger for £9.95. It was truly the worst burger bun I have ever been given in a restaurant. The salad was really small and basic with no dressing on offer. Sauces were brought in McDonaldâs style small paper pots. Small pottery pots would have been much nicer and more environmentally friendly. The chips were amazing though! Would I return or recommend? No!
