It has been a while since we had gone to Wendel's Pub and my wife had always loved their fish. She had a fish sandwich and was again very pleased. I was good and had a taco salad. It was also very good. The atmosphere is interesting and the service was good. We will be returning again.

Barrel & Boar is a BBQ Gastropub serving 12 Ohio craft beers, craft cocktails, and Low Country fare.
My family tried this place shortly after it opened. The decor inside is amazing and really well done, they way they remodeled the place is super family friendly, warm, and inviting. We were seated quickly and the service was very friendly. We all ordered burgers and found them to be so-so. Nothing horrible, but nothing to make us come back. The burgers were on the small side and a bit over cooked so they lacked the juicyness we like in a burger. The prices were a bit excessive for the size of the portion. We did try the mac-and-cheese and found it to be incredible! It was definitely the best thing we had all night! It was creamy and rich and definitely homemade. Unfortunately we won't be going back, it just wasn't worth the cost.

Our roving monthly dinner with 10 neighbors came to the Winking Lizard. Big group an make getting everyoneâs food in a timely manner difficult. But Jamal and the crew at WL were up to the task. Tuesday offers a wing special so many of our party got an order of wings. WL has sauces from very mild to very hot. I had two boneless wings and they were very meaty and tasty. My wife and I split a Cajun chicken spinach salad with southwest dressing and a small veggie pizza. Tuesday has a pizza special. Lots of grilled chicken in the salad with bacon egg mushrooms and more. Pizza was good too. Crispy crust and a good helping of toppings. So many beer choices and other bar favorites they have a separate two sided paper menu!

My husband and I come here for the fried chicken several times a month. Itâs juicy and flavorful. We also enjoy sitting at the bar for some cocktails, but the bartenders are a bit spotty. I think they are often understaffed at the bar and can be unfriendly as a result. But overall the chicken makes it worth it!

Really disappointed in this long-time local favorite. The quality of food has suffered recently. My last fish dinner there tasted freezer burned. Used to really enjoy this place, now will only go to enjoy the patio and a cold one. There are better options nearby including Uptown Deli and Brew, Barrel and Boar BBQ and Old Bag of Nails.

There were four of us at dinner and for two of us, it was our first time at this restaurant. The service, by Miles, was great! Among us we ordered fish and chips, flatbread with crab, two salads- one with salmon, and the pasta/shrimp/sausage dish.Rated highest was the fish and chips. Not so great was my salad. The greens were not as fresh as I would expect and the salmon was overcooked- fried, it seemed. I had asked for the salmon to be cooked "medium". It was fresh, though, with no fishy taste. We were seated in a little room away from the larger crowd - which was so nice at first but then our little room was filled with very loud people. I know this is not the fault of the restaurant staff, but it did affect our enjoyment of the experience since we could no longer converse.I'm sorry that you didn't feel the food was consistent for your entire party. I hope that the server, Miles, and the management staff were able to make it right for you. If you ever have an issue or don't enjoy a meal don't hesitate to let them know! We want to make sure that every guest leaves happy and satisfied with the service and food quality! We will use these comments to help us to get better. Thank you for dining with us and we hope you will join us again,Kristin HlavinMarketing Communications CoordinatorCLB [email protected]

Iâve been to several BJâs but first stop in Columbus- Polaris. The menus are the same as is the beer list. Service was acceptable considered that our girl was breaking in a new server. Problems came with what was served. Our party ordered a range from ribs to burgers to tacos & fish and chips. Ribs were praised while the rest was just average. An odd combination was one order of fries too hot to eat served along with an order of sweet potato fries actually cold to the touch. To the Kitchenâs credit, they did seat a YMCA group of about 30; and had prepared a buffet table to feed the group within minutes. When our server did return, the fries were discussed. She offered a dessert which could not be finished by the four people working on it. It was delicious.

I moved from Columbus a year ago and ate at the Rusty Bucket every now and then. The new menu is quite an improvement. I had the Tuna Wrap--marinated tuna steak--and it was great. Fried pickles awesome as well.Good dessert too. My daughter and I split the daily special strawberry shortcake. This is a good place for an informal meal.
