I bought the Riviera Cafe in Decemeber of 2004. The Riviera is not your average small town bar. With our wide beer selection on tap, and bartenders great ability to make any drink requested we call ourselves a cut above. The drinks are only matched by the
My fiance' and I have been to this restaurant quite a few times and have found the staff to be consistently friendly and engaging with excellent service 100% of the time. The food is very good with offerings of specials many days throughout the week (.39 cent wings, 1.99 pizzas + many others), not to mention the best burger I have EVER had with amazing cajun sweet potato fries! Salads are always fresh (NEVER aging produce), pizzas are yummy (like ours crispy). There is a nice room with a Juke Box and pool tables and even an outdoor patio. I do have a complaint though...last week we were in here and there were some people who came into the restaurant and asked to be served drinks. Please be aware that the males in the group were very obviously under the influence and not able to walk nor conduct themselves in a manner that any bartender would serve them. The bar staff, concerned about the safety of the group, denied serving the males but obliged to serving the females, who exhibited sober behavior. The group became disgruntled after being denied alcoholic drinks to the males in the group and decided to loudly leave and take their party elsewhere. They then decided to bash this great restaurant on the internet by writing an unjustified review on TripAdvisor (their one and only review). When someone uses the term, "Like, really?" in their review, it certainly reflects the intellect and integrity of such a person. So there you have it, my one and only complaint...people that come into a great restaurant and write a nasty review about a business because they are having a bad day. They don't care about the long term effects it has on others because the world revolves around them and them only. Kudos to the Riv and the staff! You guys are awesome and your food is great and everybody feels welcome there. Keep doing what you are doing because you are doing it right! P.S. No, we are not friends/spouses/lovers with ANYONE affliated with the Riv...honest to goodness truth.

Stopped here for dinner and drinks and were not disappointed. I had a burger, which was good except for it didn't come with what the menu said it would (caramelized onion) that would be my only complaint which wasn't a big enough deal to say anything. I also got a couple of mixed drinks from the specials, both were amazing. My boyfriend got a blueberry beer that he also enjoyed, and a pizza with buffalo mac n cheese on it. For dessert, we had fried ice cream which I love, its not served everywhere so it was nice that they have it:) The service was great. This place also has an outdoor area but it was too cold at the time to sit out there. Definitely looking forward to trying more things on the menu, like the mac n cheese with hot dog in it!

Friends love this place and come here often, especially for the boiled lobster special. Perhaps I should have gotten that. Instead, I got the lobster bisque and lobster casserole. The bisque was excellent. The lobster casserole left a lot to be desired. Starting with lobster meat. The casserole dish looked half empty. There wasnât much in the way of bread crumbs. And the taste was boring. But what else surprised me was the fact that the casserole dish which was devoid of food also had nothing accompanying it: no vegetables, no starch, nothing. I was very disappointed and no, I didnât say anything to the wonderful waitress because I guess I got exactly what I ordered. Yes the other folks were happy with their meals. But this is my review.

We had the Luncheon Fish & Chips and the clam chowder. They were pretty good, although the chowder was garlicy. Also had the Downeaster Lobster Roll - it was way overpowered by the bread (i.e. more bread than lobster). Morgan, our waitress, was really good. Thank you.

Leandros brings the best of Italy to Easton...flavorful Mediterranean food with a New England accent, fine wines, dozens of beers, interesting cocktails, and a lively atmosphere.
We went here on a Monday and sat at the bar. On Sundays and Mondays they have one dollar oysters, we each had a dozen. They were fresh and plump, very good. The oyster selection changes. We then ordered the Pappardelle, which was slow cooked beef, lamb, and pork in a red sauce. The sauce was excellent, light, flavorful and not acidic. The meats were very tender. The pasta was light and fresh and tasted homemade. They have a decent selection of beer, some craft beers and decent wine selection. The service was friendly and efficient. the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. We will go back.

We went to Chili's for a quick casual dinner. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger (from the 2 for $20) menu and asked for it to be Well Done-No Pink !!The waitress (who was excellent by the way) brought out the food, and when I cut my burger in half-as I always do to check to see how it is cooked-it was Red/Pink !I sent the burger back, and said I has asked specifically for a well-done burger with no pink.About 5 minutes later the manager returned with my exact same burger, which the kitchen had somehow re-cooked (even though it had been cut in half and had cheese on it) !!Disgusting....what restaurant takes a burger back into the kitchen and supposedly re-cooks a burger cut in half and then sends it back to the customer? We are not going to this Chili's again for a long long time!

Weâve been coming here (itâs former entity Charlie Horse) for years. What a great location, just off the highway... intersection of Rt. 24 and Rt. 106.I thought it was a good thing ownership totally re-vamped the restaurant, getting rid of the kiddie fun house atmosphere, and going for a different crowd. It took a while, but we finally found a night to try the Alehouse makeover out.First impressions: interesting how they opened-up the floor plan; impressive bar front and center. And then it hits... stale fried fish odor. (Ok, not a deal breaker. Thatâs easy to fix by improving ventilation in the kitchen, and improving the fresh air exchange rate.)My wife had a specialty cocktail - orange creme-sicle - yum... until the citrus appeared to clot with the decorative swirl of whipped cream at the bottom of the martini glass. She liked the taste though. My Manhattan was meh; not much of a selection of bourbon. Without a spirits list at the table, the server came back with options... Makerâs, Bullett (maybe, I forget), Jim Beam, Crown Royal Bourbon-type whisky mash (WTF?) and Jack Daniels (wtf?). Makerâs it is, but Iâm not sure if they put in bitters... should have chosen beer instead.I asked if the garlic Parmesan wings were saucy like dressing or more like dry rub; âsaucyâ they said. Ok, then weâll have barbecue flavored.... yup... about 6 oz. of bbq sauce poured on top of the (boneless wings). Didnât touch them. The calamari was loved, but there too - quite saucy.I thought the chili lime chicken tacos would be safe. Yup, they were safe - and bland. The chips on the side were better than the entrée. Nevertheless, our table ate the food without complaint, but with no raving over tasty food. What a missed opportunity. I had falsely assumed a gastro-pub makeover that would draw from miles around. We drove 15 minutes each way to get here. Alas, no culinary magnet here. The decor makeover was a welcome change; but without improving the food and drink product, this makeover is a missed opportunity.

Restaurant atmosphere was casual and pleasant. Waitress was pleasant, but not always available. I could not locate her when trying to order a drink. While my Reuben and fries and my wife's dinner salad were of good size, neither were memorable. In a convenient location with an extensive menu, I will try Grand Slam again soon.

Not a great experience. We had a gift certificate and know other people who seem to like this restaurant. The hostess was curt with us and it took a while to get seated. The waitress was inattentive and the food was sub-par. Would not go again.
