A nice meal at a reasonable price. They have 'specials' most nights and prices are reasonable if you take up the offers. A little on the pricey side if you order from the 'normal' menu. Food is always cooked nicely and staff are all polite and friendly.

Steeped in history, Romanoâs Hotel is one of the Riverinaâs most iconic venues with a number of spaces to relax and enjoy alongside family and friends including the main bar, The Laneway, The Hampden, The Cellar, an alfresco area, and function rooms. The
I had the chicken pie which was very good and my partner had a steak. Both meals we were fully satisfied with and the price was reasonable. Unlike the stay in a room of the hotel itself which was very substandard.Hi Michael, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the food and found it reasonably priced. We understand your stay wasn't quite what you expected from our basic, pub-style rooms upstairs, and have addressed this with you separately.Regards, Belinda

This was my favourite pub when I lived in Wagga over 7 years ago. This week, I visited again for the first time since then, and was pleased to see the meals were just as excellent, and the service just as fast.

Haven't eaten here so can't comment on the food. It's an old world pub that doesn't really stand out as well as some others in town such as the UnionThey have a good selection of beers and the upper deck at the back of the pub has nice views over the river that sets it apart.

Planned a quiet tasty meal fir March Out night.Nice quiet spot in booth which was nice for an opportunity to catchup privately.Entree was ok salt and pepper squid not rubbery.Iâm still waiting fir my veggies to arrive after 2 reminders!Unfortunately my husband ordered special of the day charcoal cooked lamb cutlets fir $28- which was burnt ! the only meat in the 3 thinned cutlets was the size of a 20 c piece. This was served in a bed of tasteless potatoe mash. Overpriced and embarrassing .Chicken parmigiana filled a space !Basic salad bar. This hotel could easily monopolize on March Out nights due to location but I wouldnât recommend eating here.

The Riverina Hotel was established in 1851 and was originally called the Hope Inn. The Hope Inn was one of the first five hotels to be licensed in Wagga. Today it is the oldest running hotel in Wagga and is a place where you can enjoy good honest pub meal
My friend and I ate there after a day in the hot sun. The beer selection was fantastic. He really liked his pot pie and my steak was more than adequate. It wasnât the best meal Iâve ever had but it was far from the worst. Service was good and the prices were reasonable.Hi there,Thanks so much for your review! Weâre so glad you enjoyed yourselves and yes itâs the perfect spot on a hot day (or cold for that matter!) We hope to see you again.Warm regards,Catherine

We stopped at this hotel on our way to Canberra recently. We found the barman to be a dull type who showed little interest or friendliness as he took our orders and money, We both ordered rissoles with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The meal was a good size serving and the vegetables were fine but the rissoles were average in flavour and the mash was not very appealing. The good thing was that the meals only cost $15.50 each so they were reasonably priced. Overall an average experience.

Nice meal, great service and atmosphere. I had the Sporties Royale burger tower which was very filling. Bacon, cheese meat all yum. The only thing I would say is that the designated smoking area should be a little more out the open area outside. We Went to sit with the kids in the covered outdoor area and had to move inside due to smokers. Kids also have to walk through to get to the playground. We will defiantly go back for more. Thanks for a great meal.

This has got to be of the best pubs we have eaten at in quite a while. The hot rocks scotch fillet was delicious. Have had a few of these at other places but this was probably the best. It was a very nice piece of decent sized meat. The salad and chips were terrific also. Good friendly service, reasonably priced drinks equals a must visit when in Wagga Wagga.
