Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Vail. North America's biggest and most popular ski resort, Vail is an alpine village in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Long a favorite of serious skiers and jet setting celebrities, Vail now also draws a younger, hipper snowboarding crowd. Skiing is king at Vail Mountain and the Blue Sky Basin, but the area's vast splendor is perfect for hiking, biking, snowmobiling or scenery-gazing at any time of the year.

The Altitude Bar and Grill (formerly Altitude Billiards and Sports Club), voted Vail's #1 sports bar. Serving a varied seasonal menu that is sure to please carnivores and vegetarians alike. The Altitude Bar and Grill menu also includes several gluten free
Great bartenders, music, lively bar scene, TVs tuned to various sports, pool tables, ping pong, pinball, etc. Not sure what else you are looking for, my friends and I had a great time hanging out at Altitude. Even if you're not staying at the Evergreen, Altitude is still worth checking out. Thanks so much for your very kind review of the Altitude. We love it there too and agree it's very worth checking out
Our first night in Vail brought us to the Avalanche Pub. it was a short walk from our condo. After traveling all day, a pub experience was just what we wanted. We came during happy hour. There was live music which was great and the drinks were awesome! We ordered supper, lighter pub-fare, and were very happy with our meals. We also ordered the chips, salsa and guacamole to get us started. The "quac" was fresh and delicious!. Everything was good and prices were reasonable for Vail.

A destination for beer aficionados, Vail Alehouse features local handcrafted beer and over 20 craft beers on tap. Enjoy the warm, comfortable ambience, friendly staff, and an eclectic menu of popular dishes while you relax with friends in a big comfy boot
This place was perfect for our big group who wanted to drink, eat dinner, play games, and watch the NBA playoffs. Food was really good, they had a killer beer selection. We were there during the off season so service was super friendly but slow.

CineBistro is a great up-scale movie theater located right in Vail! My family and I went to catch a movie because we wanted something relaxing to do after a day of skiing. The theater was impeccably clean (can't say that for most movie theaters) and the staff was very friendly - especially those at the bar. They also had a fairly extensive menu full of delicious sounding items, though my family and I were only in the mood for popcorn. Recommend this spot!

Conveniently located at the base of the Gondola in Lionshead Village, the Vail Chophouse offers incredible views of Vail Mountain and sits amidst all the activity of the area. The slopeside restaurant additionally features great steaks and fresh seafood,
I have been avoiding this place since it opened...thought it would be too pretentious, full of the well-healed older crowd. Man, I was wrong. The place was alive. The decor was top-end, but it was very warm and inviting. Our server was attentive and fun. And the menu had a great range of seafood, beef, pork. But it was winner winner chicken dinner. They had a fried chicken entree that was AMAZING! Poutine was excellent. My wife was very happy with her oysters app and trout entree. Well stocked bar as well. Fun and delicious place. We are delighted you decided to give us a try and even more so that you enjoyed your dining experience! Thanks for sharing the great review and we look forward to hosting you again soon! Drop in for our famous Après Ski Live Music Daily 3-6 and a late show on Saturday 9-11!

We come here every year. We have been here 3 times this week. We enjoy the best happy hour in Vail. $4.75 for any drink from 3-9. We have had the tuna, crab lags, filet, nachos and most other entreeâs. We have never had a bad meal. Every time we have had a great experience. Our servers this year Theo and Rio were awesome. Check this place out it is a great place.

We re-open on May 23rd. Since 1992 Garfinkelâs (or, "Garfs" as it is locally known) has been a cornerstone in Lionshead (VAIL) for both tourists and locals alike. Our sunny deck provides the best après ski, sun catching, and overall late spring and summer
We had dinner on the patio because indoors felt stuffy and loud. The setting at the base of the mountain was beautiful. Ample vegetarian options where we had to make hard choices. Fun restaurant with a fun menu (though we did have to run a bit of gauntlet of smokers on the walkway to the patio). Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the beautiful views of Vail Mountain from our patio in Lionshead Village and the many vegetarian options available. To avoid the smoking area, we suggest walking though our restaurant to get to our patio. Thanks for visiting!
