Swampscott is a town in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States located 15 miles (24 km) up the coast from Boston in an area known as the North Shore. The population was 13,787 as of 2010. A former summer resort on Massachusetts Bay, Swampscott is today a fairly affluent residential community and includes the village of Beach Bluff, as well as part of the neighborhood of Clifton. It is known for its quiet suburban character and lovely beaches. The town was home to the scenic ocean front college, Marian Court College until 2015.

I had their steak tips & onion soup- need I say more!Everything including bread was delicious!But you know it IS All about their âHome Made Blue Cheeseâ! They actually Will sell you jars of the delicious dressing to take home! Why Yes, I have bought a few and gifted a few as well.Iâm a dipper pretty much with everything. I love their blue cheese for that.Again Yum Yum Yum:)

A few days back our friends mentioned that they often go here and told us of the specials: Mondays are half priced burgers; Tuesdays and Wednesdays are two entrees and a bottle of house wine, and so forth-(see photo below or call for more info).Our waitress Diane was friendly and pleasant. She answered our questions about the special deal and explained that some items (with asterisks) had a $5.00 upcharge. My wife and I ordered the Tavern Pasta: chicken, shrimp, and sweet sausage in a light wine sauce over fettuccini. (Wife omitted the sausage) A very tasty entree.A.J. delivered our meals, checked in with us after a few minutes, talked with us, and even shared a video of his daughter's first steps. He was extremely friendly, cheery, and knowledgeable about the restaurant and the food. Several of his family work there as well. He obviously likes his job, people, and loves his daughter. We made a friend--worth the visit alone!The Tuesday special is a good deal. Give Rolly's a try any day or any night. Be sure to say "Hello" to Diane and A.J.

We enjoyed 2 different beer flights and appetizers. The best part was the pretzel. It was bigger than my face! Soft and warm with salt crystals on it. It came with fabulous honey mustard sauce. I want these at home!Also, our server, Sarah, was one of the best I've had anywhere.

A must when visiting Salem, great for lunch with both inside and outside seating. Menu has something for everyone and prices are really reasonable. Portions are generous and all well prepared and presented.Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and happy to assist with recommendations. Full bar choice with large range of beers and wines. The best Connecticut style lobster roll I've had anywhere, but I recommend ordering it to go. The wait service was terribly slow. I had to ask for our check twice and then after waiting another ten minutes finally had to go hunt down a member of the wait staff to get it so we could pay and leave.

Went just for drinks before a concert at the Lynn auditorium but the place was packed! Every table was taken people standing everywhere. We had to stand in the little hallway where the bathrooms & the kitchen doors were & even there we were in the way. All the waitresses looked overwhelmed, stressed & unhappy. The food looked good as it was coming out but we had already eaten. The decor looked nice for a bar, a copper tin ceiling, several Patriots pictures hanging 3 large TV's, it's a casual atmosphere, The drinks were reasonably priced. We would try again as it did look good it might have just been 1 of those nights when everyone went to RF O'Sullivans!

We popped in quite unexpectedly as they were opening just as my daughter got hungry. The big velvet curtains give the impression they are closed, but the keep the cool airless in, just keep going. The cheese appetizer was really delicious. The draft beer options are fun. The turkey sandwich and the Cuban were both delicious. Service was excellent and the manager was friendly.

Staying at the Hawthorne and arrived late. Defaulted to the in house restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Food was good and atmosphere cozy. Lived in Lynn for over 30 years and have never been in here until my wife said lets try it, she heard the food was excellent and reasonable, and so we did , the food was excellent and delicious, totally caught me off guard since I didn't expect it as to good it was. The food presentation is like being in a up scale restaurant where the price would be double.

Their new sister restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and is superb. Service is exceptional as the staff could not be nicer or more friendly. Food is excellent with large portions and very fair prices. The decor is open and attractive. Well worth a visit, especially for breakfast.
