Eat here once ever week because it is always consistently good food, good presentation and really good value for money. The staff are very efficient, Donna Cashmore is our favourite as she is so nice, gives time to each one, but gets everyone served without delay. All the staff treat everybody with friendliness and care. The restaurant is spacious, and divided into areas so one does not feel too hemmed in. Ample fre parking too.

A cosy cornish family run business With our restaurant and bar menu offering a traditional English menu incorporating homemade dishes using local produce whenever possible. We offer facilities for private functions catering from weddings, birthday parties
Really nice ambience here, staff really friendly, great selection of beers, lagers and wine, great deals on certain meals but a decent regular menu with Specials on ( not the band) we looked forward to eating here every night for our 3 day break, mind you we have been eating here for the past few years, its nice going into the bar after and having a drink and chat with no rowdiness, they can keep that for the other local bars.Thank You, we shall return!

Yes, it is within easy walking distance of Newquay airport, even with a wheelie suitcase. My single room was a very good size as was the ensuite; it was clean and very quiet despite being close to both the road and the airport. The bed linen and towels were good quality and the bed very comfortable; I slept well both nights. It loses points for being shabby on the stairs and passages, there was insufficient hot water for a bath (not enough to cover my legs) and poor pressure for a shower, mismatched and broken tiles in the bathroom, no bathmat or glass for my toothbrush and to rinse. I ate there one evening: the food was good but, in my opinion, expensive for what it was (mushroom and leek pasta, berry pavlova- doubt the meringue was home-made - £18). Breakfast was standard hotel fare and quite adequate.Yes, I'd stay there again if I didn't have transport....but not sure I would if I had a car.

We have just taken over at The Ring O Bells, and hope to welcome you soon. We serve quality home cooked food for reasonable prices; our little twist on traditional pub grub. Dogs welcome.
A horrible night but the ring of bells offered a friendly welcome. It's a quirky long thin pub but charming for that. Nice range of beer including small batch beer from st austell brewery. Food was top. I had the rajistan lamb curry and my wife had sausage and mash. Both really good. I guess the restaurant would have been more cosy with a nice fire as the roòm was a bit chilly for us. Parking in town is a blinking nightmare. Couldn't manage a dessert ! Worth a go.Thanks for your review. Iâm so pleased you enjoyed the welcome, food and beer. Thanks for your feedback with regard to the temperature of the lounge. We have addressed this with an additional heater. So now itâs not only hot in the kitchen and the curries but itâs hot everywhere! Hope to see you again soon

A great little find in a gorgeous location. So much so that we went back several times over the week. The cream tea was delicious - definitely recommended. Dinner was amazing - exceeded all our expectations - fresh, well presented and something for everyone. Breakfast was also brilliant - reasonably priced and delicious. Outside seating is also available in a newly renovated garden overlooking the beach. Will definitely be heading back next time we are in Cornwall.

Went Thursday evening had a fabulous meal. Myself Sea Bass and the best sea bass I have ever had plus crispy Kal, new potatoes and a fab sauce everything was perfect. My husband had fish and chips and he said the chips were very crispy and the peas were very different. But the main pointer was the staff, Sam the bar manager was so friendly and lovely to be treated with respect and bending down to take our order and talk to us. We enjoyed it so much we went back again Friday. Had nachos with pulled chicken and sour cream and sweet potato fries, wow never had such a huge plate full, but lovely to see the staff remembered us and again we're so polite. Highly recommended

The Travellers Rest is a beautiful Cornish village pub nestled between Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay beaches, just a mile away from Newquay Airport. This pub is ideally located to relax and unwind as you take in the sights of the North Cornwall coast. Da
We had 2 meals here whilst on holiday and on both occasions the food was really tasty, served quickly, looked a great dish and all the staff attentive and friendly - everyone with dogs (and there were a few) was made most welcome. Really felt this was a pub to pass on a recommendation to others if down this way.

Our second visit to the Falcon Inn did not disappoint As usual the pub was extremely busy and as usual we waited around an hour to get seated and as usual it was well worth the wait.My advice to those out their that dont appreciate good home cooked food and good cask ale who get grumpy if they arent immediately seated and fed "get yourselves to Mc Donalds as this place is not for you" Yes i did reads toms review! How wrong you are Tom!Again i take my hat off to the staff at this busy little pub the only problem with being constantly that busy is STRESS and this team deal with it admirably Well done all at the Falcon and we look forward to seeing you again next year The Applewhites
