New Bohemia Wurst and Bier House is the transformation of a traditional bier hall into what we like to call the "New American Craft Bier Hall" pouring 36 of the finest local and International Craft beers in the country. New Bohemia features over 24 differ
This is a casual sit down fast food restaurant serving about a dozen different versions of bratwursts plus fries and many beer choices. There were 4 in our adult party and each had a different brat. We all agreed that the fries were very fresh and tasty (some of the best I have had in a long time), the buns were fresh and tasty, and the 2 condiments allowed on the brat were fresh and tasty (carmelized onions, mushrooms, apple coleslaw tried). We all agreed that all of the brats (the featured item) were bland. Given that 3 out of 4 of us prefer mild food over spices is telling. Bland meat is the word. The total for the 4 brats, large fries order and 4 beers came to almost $80. So it isn't cheap food. I think the beers really drove up the cost ($8 each for Paulaner).

I always try to visit Barley Johns when my travels bring me near the Twin Cities; Iâve been here on several occasions and have enjoyed its intimate and genuine atmosphere. Theyâve been around before the current craft beer boom and continue to brew great beer and serve delicious food. I was lucky to visit this time on a warm weekday evening and sat outside. Great crowd and there was live music. I enjoyed their Reuben soup (yup...just like the sandwich) and Lake Trout special. Nice place to be.

Welsch's is a favorite of ours, we go there about once a month. The food is consistently good, the beer selection isn't large but they have something for every taste, and it has a friendly neighborhood atmosphere.

Stopped by at 4:30 on a Sunday to get something to eat. Sign said wait to be seated, no hostess in sight had to look for someone to seat us. Ordered two sandwhichs both the Lombardi. When arrived each one of the sandwhichs had one stale bun as they were hard, onion rings were very few and not fresh. Mentioned to the waitress about the stale buns, she took both sandwhichs back, thinking that we would get fresh made only to get new buns not even toasted and cold sandwhich overall. What kind of lame cook is working the kitchen? The product was terrible and I would not recommend this place to anybodyBefore I left I took a look back in the kitchen area and understand the reason for the lousy service. I'm just glad I didn't get sick. The bathrooms were messed up, one soap dispenser had been torn off the wall and was just sitting on the sink. The sink I used the faucet when turned on sprayed water to the sides not into the sink.

Grumpy's Roseville is one of our favorite local bar/restaurants. We frequently come here to watch a game on the big screen. Prior to Grumpy's this location had several restraunts that couldn't survive. Grumpy's has an awesome menu and friendly staff that keep the locals coming back for more. We really enjoy the casual atmosphere and some of their menu items are totally crave worthy. Try the Hell On Wheels Sandwich (with your choice of fry type or tot) or their Spinach Flatbread Salad. The Mac and cheese will also hit the spot. Happy hour is hopping so get there early.

Although the chicken in my Winner Winner dinner was moist and tender, it had very little flavor. The sautéed veggies and rice pilaf were equally flavorless. My husbandâs Surf & Turf, which was shrimp and andouille sausage, was a great disappointment - completely lacked seasoning. Others at the table ordered the walleye - very small portions. The only part of our meal we really enjoyed was the House Wedge Salad. The decor - or lack there of - made this place very uninteresting. We have no reason to want to come back - sorry to say.

We all ordered the street tacos. We thought maybe we should have shared when they came but they were so good we all ate them all. I wish the had warmed the tortillas. The shells were cold but the avocado salsa was very good. We ordered a side of dry rub fries and the were also excellent. $13 for 3 street tacos. The place needs more in it to help with the noise. Voices echo and it can be loud.

Weâve been here a couple of times. Some of the food is quite good but other times they should be embarrassed by what they serve (tomatoes that are so unripe theyâre literally white, salads with limp lettuce swimming in dressing). The service is mostly friendly but with poor follow through (needing to remind them of missed items, multiple servers unable to confirm basic ingredient information with the kitchen). There were two hostesses working today, and neither said hello when we walked in. I said âHi, could we have a table for two?â and one said âbrunch or lunch.â We hadnât visited on a weekend before or seen the menu yet so we werenât sure, but when they didnât offer any details (or even a menu) I just said lunch and asked for a table on the patio. I never found out why it would matter since there were folks eating brunch and lunch items at nearby tables. Thanks for taking a moment to review us. Have wanted to try this place since they opened. Had a few hours to kill so I decided to try lunch by myself here today. Atmosphere was ok, and the high top stool chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. However. Stacey the server was very sweet, engaged me in conversation at the bar and was able to make a mean mimosa (cuz it was close enough to noon ;) and helped me decide on a yummy meal choice. I chose the Italian wrap. It was a bit greasy but that's what happens when you heat up Italian meats. I probably would have liked it cold better but it was still good.Half of the menu isn't available until 4 which was disappointing but based on my experience today I will definitely come back another day to try it out!
