It's hard to find a restaurant everyone can agree on when your away but the menu at Hunters lodge accommodates for everyone. Food was lovely and one of those meals is for a child 100% will be back

Went early one evening and were lucky enough to get a table. Went for the curry again and it was freshly cooked with a nice crunch to the vegetables. Portions are good with no room left for desert. Service was great, got asked a few times was everything ok which is great to see. Would highly recommend

No matter what we had, food was good, hot, interesting! This place saved the days at the hotel! Pinot Grigio was the best we have had on this trip!

Staying at the hotel with no transportation so had limited options for dinner. It was either at the hotel bar, or at the airport. Since there wasn't anything but fast food at the airport, we opted for the convenience of the hotel bar. My husband and I shared a pizza and it was very good and more than enough for the 2 of us. The drinks were a bit pricey, but all in all our bill wasn't too bad.

JP Clarke's is a rustic country pub featuring reclaimed sandstone floors, timber beams with brick and stone walls. The atmosphere in JP Clarke's is relaxed, friendly and informal, while the overall impression is of a pub that is both comfortable and rusti
Stopped here for lunch. When we entered we sat at a table but when nobody approached us my wife went searching for menus and eventually found one on the bar counter.Meanwhile the servers continued to wander aimlessly around but eventually one of them took our order. The food was top class but when it came to paying we again could find nobody to provide the bill and I stood at the counter for some time and eventually succeeded in paying my bill. The food we had was excellent but I cannot remember when i have encountered the level of disinterest by staff.Such a pity.Dear vincent oThank you for your recent review, I am delighted to see that you enjoyed your meals with us during your recent visit.but i am disappointed to see that the service did not match the level of quality of the food and i will be addressing this with all members of Staff.Thank you again for your feedbackkind regardsJohn

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, an extensive menu, good food and excellent service. Nothing is a problem. Flexibility with the dishes at no extra cost. Great seafood chowder. Very good Irish coffees. Right beside Bunraty castle with loads of parking. A good place to break on your travels.

JJ Ruddles is a recent addition to The food offerings at Shannon Airport. Located in the main arrivals hall itâs accessible to everyone. The decor is warm & modern with an outdoor area too if the weather allows! For lunch you have a choice from the hot counter for fast pre prepared mains and the all day menu. The day we were there nothing on the hot counter looked particularly appealing. We ordered And payed at the till before taking our seats. The staff were mostly young seasonal employees Iâd imagine. Of the seven of us only two were happy with there choices. The pizzas were slightly over done and lacking in flavor! I had the fish and chips which was presented well. However The large piece of battered fish was sitting in a load of oil which should have being drained off or towel dried before plating and my chips were over cooked. I did not consider this good value or worth the price charged. The burger was the only item that our group enjoyed. This was very disappointing. We are part of a very large local employer whose staff eat out a lot and are now unlikely to recommend this restaurant to our colleagues unless the quality of the food served improves.

Had a great time here watching a soccer match with the locals, drinking and yelling.Place was packed even with several bars open.We were staying at the nearby 5 star castle, but we just wanted a little freedom from the upper class. This is what I like and missed from home.

Ate at this restaurant tonight despite looking up on line and seeing special offers none were on the menu tonight....not a problem with us. We had cannelloni stuffed with cheese and spinach which was tasteless the sauce that it came in was lovely. My partner had the hake (which was tiny) came on a bed of tasteless puy lentils and topped with two tough camalari dont know what happened to the spinach veloute no sign on plate. Meal was bland and overpriced. Thought staff lovely and professional couldnt fault...wont be back.Dear shannon90Thank you for taking the time to review us. I was very sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your recent meal with us here at the Old Lodge Gastro Pub. I will speak with our head chef as regards your comments and see what happened on the night. As you will see from previous reviews this would not be the norm here and I hope you will give us another opportunity to try and restore your faith in us here.Kind regardsJohn GavinOwner/Director
