The Blacksmiths is a newly renovated pub with rooms situated on the outskirts of the historical city of Chichester in the old village of Donnington. Restored in a relaxed and comfortable style with a few quirky twists, guests can enjoy the blazing fire an
We recently stayed at The Blacksmiths (Barn Owl room) for two nights while attending a nearby wedding. We didn't realise when we arrived that Wednesday night was burger night and obviously extremely popular but staff were able to find us a table and we enjoyed some brilliant food for dinner! The garden and outside seating area was very quiet and a great place to relax in the evening before heading in for a few drinks before bed. Our room and bathroom (with rolltop bath) were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay. Breakfast was just good as dinner and the staff were very accommodating throughout.

A friendly welcome awaits at this timber beamed 17th century inn, popular with residents and visitors alike. Nearby attractions are the beach at Pagham and the tranquil Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve. Always a good selection of beers complemented by popula

Estabished in 1856 The Crown Inn has been the heart of Selsey village for over 150 years. We take pride in serving great value pub grub in an amazing atmosphere welcome to families, dog's, the occasional drinker and someone looking for live entertainment.
Place fairly empty, service slow and a lot more expensive than our last visit, steak well seasoned, that suited me but not the other person on our table that ordered 'Surf, Turf & Cluck'

At The Hole In The Wall we are passionate about good beer, home-cooked food and friendly service. As one of the best pubs in Chichester, we offer 8 real ales, 4 real ciders & 20 keg beers which feature brews from some of the most progressive, independent
Wouldn't normally leave a bad review on a place, but I honestly had such a bad burger here last night. My friends had fish and chips which was fine apparently. Great looking beers, but didn't try more than 2 as the reggae music was too annoying (but that's my problem, people seemed to be having fun to it).Dear z-layrexI am so sorry to hear you did not enjoy your burger on this occasion. Usually we receive high praise for our burgers. May I ask what was your issue with the burger? We take all feedback with upmost importance as this helps us improve. Kind regardsThe Hole in the Wall pub

Came here for a family meal. 3 courses, took about 4 hours as we were just waiting for someone to collect our orders, clear the table etc. Not a single person checked on our table throughout the meal. When we had finished with our mains and waited 15 mins for someone to clear our table, I went to the bar to find a member of staff who was just chatting with a bloke at the bar.

The oldest pub in Pagham dating back to the early 15th century, with a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Being known as one the best restaurants in the local are we cater for all needs, with our gluten free, vegetarian and kids options as well as a wide
We decided to use this pub because of the great reviews, Iâm glad we did it definitely did not disappoint. The Staff especially Rebecca were very attentive and very friendly.I had Portuguese sardines to start but the white bait. Crayfish and king prawn cocktail and Garlick king prawns were equally as nice.My main was Duck legs in a port and brandy sauce, fabulous. My wife and one other had the Lamb shoulder, the cut was brilliant and cooling excellent. The Roast Turkey was cooked to a tee.All in all I agree with everyone else who have reviewed this eatery it is brilliant, not the cheapest but so well worth every penny.

We were recommended this pub by our owner of our holiday let.We arrived on a Sunday evening without booking and they easily fitted us in.The menu was very small and basic but luckily for our husbands they were still doing Sunday dinners. So one beef, one turkey SD, a shepards pie and a fish pie later, we started eating. The food was nice but not outstanding, the service though was good. The puddings were small and expensive. So 4 mains, 2 puddings and the coffees and 4 drinks. £100 later.I think almost £15 for a roast dinner is pretty steep. We come from Buckinghamshire which is noted for its expensive eateries and we pay less for better fare.Thank you for taking the time to review us at The Inglenook , Pagham . We are sorry that you felt underwhelmed by your meal with us . We offer what we believe to be good wholesome home cooked food on our bar menu at competitive prices . We are a family run privately owned establishment which allows us to set our own prices and so our beverages are set at a fair level . We have a reputation for generous portions and so i am surprised to hear that you were disappointed with your dessert . I am unsure if you mentioned any of your concerns to our staff on that evening but i can assure that customer satisfaction is our upmost priory . I can only apologise at this time . If you are in the area again and decide to pop in please flag up and i will do my best to make your visit to us a fabulous one .
