We were seated as soon as we walked in. The service was phenomenal. The food was extremely delicious and definitely fairly priced, especially considering serving size. The atmosphere is certainly reminiscent of the time period when the restaurant was built, and quite charming to say the least. The wait staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Larry was our server, and we could not have asked for a better experience.
This place is disgusting but has a fantastic beer selection. I'm not really sure why because everyone that drinks here only orders Miller Lite. Smoking is still allowed so beware, your clothes and hair will reek of cigarettes for days after. They have a full menu and occasionally have free buffets or pizza during Eagles games. The patrons that frequent here are pretty eccentric. The last time I sat at the bar the older gentleman next to me whipped some earthworms out of his breast pocket and placed them on the bar in front of him while he drank his beer. Once he was finished drinking he put the worms back in his pocket, paid his tab, and walked out. Despite the regulars, I suggest checking this place out at least once for their awesome tap and take out selection.

Busy casual place with unbelievably low prices. Cash only, but ATM on the premises. Often a wait, but you can sit or stand at the bar (also busy) until called for your table.Varied menu. No outside dining. Plenty of parking.

came here a few weeks ago. was seated in bar at high top. was crowded and loud. was kentucky derby day. customer asked waitress to turn on basketball right as the horses entered the gates to get ready to run and she turned it. unbelievable. then there was an issue with a customer and the bartender. lots of yelling. the customer left. a female worker went out in the parking lot after them. she turned out to be the bartenders mom.. just way too much drama to deal with while trying to eat. food was average. wont hurt ourselves to get back.

We have passed this place many times and decided to give it a try for a casual dinner. The bar had a nice rustic cozy country atmosphere with TVs everywhere to watch any sport you are interested in! Certain draft beers were on special for a dollar. Food was disappointing. Sandwiches were light on meat and heavy on the bread.. Steak sandwich was fatty and chewy. On the plus side, service was very good. Glad we tried it but will probably not return as it was a bit pricey for mediocre food.

This is an improving place. They always have a good variety of craft beers and their food is consistent and pretty good. What they do well is their beer dinners and their beer tastings. These always have well paired beers and lots of good conversation. The building is "old" - but it's historic! Outside patio is nice in the spring and fall, a bit hot for my liking in the summer.

The House special comes with sliced prime rib, onions and mushrooms topped with cheese and mayo served with a side of au jus for dipping. Most sandwiches are served with a side of homemade soup that is also always very good. I have yet to find a sandwich to compare. The owners are working on remodeling and the building needs work but its well worth it. If you want to meet up with friends this is a good place quite environment and good.

Food was so so. Atmosphere was regulars. Too chatty. Some very rude. Went there for a date night with husband. Couple sitting next to us at the bar was onnoxious. Wouldn't stop talking. The husband of that couple was drunk smacked my a to get attention and proceeded to complain about story on the news. I was as gracious as I could be yet he never shut up.
