The brewery tour was great, very informative with our guide being very knowledgeable. The tour was free, and we received a cold glass of our choice of beer at the end.

Our original location in St. Louis - the Midtown Brewery & Biergarten, is situated in an old 1920â²s garage in a district of St. Louis known as Midtown Alley. It features a traditional, German biergarten, developing barrel-aging program, and lighter fare &
If you enjoy a German beerhall style dining experience complete with a great beer selection then you have to try Urban Chestnut Brewery. They offer a reasonable eating menu that includes burgers, bratwurst & other sandwiches, but the real reward here is the variety of European beer styles that they offer. Their Zwickel is quite popular and available in local stores so you can enjoy it at home. Service is friendly, but they could use more kitchen help.

We stopped in to dine while celebrating Rabbie Burns' day. The restaurant had actually had a Burns' Night dinner the previous evening, though we were unaware of it. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our meal, though the only haggis offering was haggis fritters as an appetizer (they were quite good). The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good. The atmosphere was pleasant.Highly recommended.

Great wine list and beers on tap
Buffalo Bison was VERY good. They only have one cab selection for wine by the glass and thankfully it was really good. Lots of beer choices. Pretzel beer cheese was really Good. Also had the trout and it was excellent. Atmosphere was also great (we sat at the bar).

Established in 1978 as a one room pub house, John D. McGurkâs Irish Pub and Garden has risen to the top of the class among the Irish Pubs in St. Louis. In fact, Esquire Magazine, in its June, 2011 Edition, saluting the best bars in America, chose John D.
Beautiful garden setting, welcoming hostesses, knowledgeable and prompt wait-staff. Nice menu with good variety, everything is always promptly and well prepared. Always enjoyable! But, wish it opened sooner on Sundays.

I am SO impressed with the Broadway Oyster Bar! I did the call ahead priority seating and we were seated right when we checked in on a busy Saturday night. Awesome! We ordered the Voodoo shrimp as a starter and it was phenomenal! Our waitress Carly (I hope I didnât spell that wrong) recommended the Hurricane drink and that was spot on as well. Carly was super friendly and helpful. She found the time on a busy Saturday to get to know our table and we appreciated that. I was stuck between two main dishes and she persuaded me to get the crawfish mona dish. WOW! Carly-thank you SO much. This meal was amazing and I will dream about it back in Michigan. Iâm so glad I found this place on Yelp. 10/10 we will be back someday. Your waitress Carly is a gem! We donât know either! I do know we get a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews just like yours because I respond to every review on Trip Advisor, Google and Yelp. We want to know how our guests feel about what we do and what they like and do not like. Thank you for coming to BOB and for choosing to follow up your visit with an outstanding 5 star review. We are very pleased to know that we impressed you with everything from our Preferred Seating program, great food and drink and especially our âfriendly and helpfulâ service from Carly. We try to bring a bit of the Southern hospitality that we know so well from our time in Louisiana here to our friends in the Midwest. Both Carly and I are thrilled to know that you found us and that you feel sure you will be back someday. Since we have been in business for 41 years, there is a pretty good chance we will still be here! Thank you for your support and we will look forward to your return. John

I really enjoyed having nightcaps with my friends at this place. You definitely feel like you're in a German pub or timber lodge or Masonic gathering or something. The couches are old and rustic, as well as the tables and the setting. The walls are adorned with "olde" stuff. It's my kind of place! The people there seem to be mostly of the more chilled out persuasion. Bartenders seem pretty chill and friendly. I had a cocktail that I think was called Aztec Gold, which was basically like a dessert drink, very tasty. Perfect end to the night! For a brief period of time, there was a live pianist and bassist playing some jazzy tones. A wee bit pricey if you're just getting basic drinks.. so go for an interesting cocktail or unique brew.

This burger joint is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. They have two sides for seating. One with a bar that looked packed and then the side that we sat in that was a big open space. There are tvâs so you can watch sports. If you go on a Monday night (which we did) burgers are buy one get $5 off a second one. Staff was friendly and our server Kristen J. was nice and very attentive.
