Grind House Bar and Grill is your Neighborhood English pub with great home made food from both sides of the pond. Whether you are looking for authentic fish n'chips,Shepherds Pie, Beef & Guinness pie, Cornish pasties or Scotch Eggs from the English side o
In 2015 I wrote a good review for Grind House. The decline under its new ownership is significant. The 1st week of June 2018 they were cited for 27 health code violations, winning Tampa Bay's dirtiest restaurant for that week.Toilets don't always work & are sometimes without lights, soap, or paper towels; there's a shortage of bar inventory and the darts, pool table, jukebox, and nightly events have between axed.Last week a loyal customer and local business owner was threatened, chess-poked, & called a f****t by a drunk couple. The manager did not intervene & refused his plea to call the police. There are a number of really good restaurants / bars in a 5-mile radius. Do yourself a favor and go to one of them.

We ordered several pizzas for a school event. The bottom of each was coated in coal dust. Tasted like you are eating charcoal briquets.

Had heard good things; 2 p.m. and it is JAMM'N. Menu doesn't have anything really appealing ...sandwiches and burgers and same-o salads and overpriced entrees??? Thought i was ordering fishnchips and got a salty talapia(?) sandwich w/ skimpy fish and FRIES in tha sandwich. Also needed 2 pay $.95? EXTRA for (too salty)fries instead of potato salad??? Waitress o.k. but not friendly and 2 other tables got their food more quickly yet were seated after us.Not a thing to draw us back tho we MIGHT try brunch at SOME point far future.

Drove by here for years. Thought it was a dive bar - WRONG. It's a local bar with lots of off-beach tourists with a penchant to find great food at great prices. I love the shepherd's pie and the steak dinner. Add the green beans, for under $20. Sure, it's not 2 inches thick but it sure is tasty and tender enough even for me. Happy hour beers are cheap and Sunday is happy hour all day. No deals anywhere else on Sunday that I've found in this area.

A little locally run restaurant in the centre of downtown Safety Harbor, near the pier. Apparently this is a new, larger location. A comfortable outside eating area is available. A good sized menu with lots of different seafood options and a few non ocean choices for those who prefer chicken or similar. Efficient, pleasant server. The food was good, but not great. Nicely presented. I had the lobster grilled cheese and it had decent chunks of lobster. The fish taco apparently was good, not great. The shrimp taco (with blue cheese) was reportedly great.

Super! Great food, especially the pork and black bean dishes. Food quality is much higher than expected. Friendly, accommodating staff. A delight. Just a block of Main Street but no advertising & recent upgrade closure means little competition for seating and attentive service.

Smoked bologna was very good, needs to be on a sandwich, not just an appetizer. Home made sauces are delicious especially the sweet and mango. Dry rub on ribs was ok, could use a bit more rub. Great place to hang out and have a drink with some bbq.

Safety Harbor is just the coolest town and this little wine bar is the bomb. We were lured in with a sign promoting wine pops. Yep. You read that right. Wine! On a stick!!! Once you order your wine pop you can get a nice glass of vino to drop it into if thatâs the way you roll. I chose a glass of Prosecco to accompany my blush wine pop. The place is small but thatâs not a bad thing. Itâs well appointed and the staff (Tanner) was way friendly. I had friends visiting from out of town and place was perfect for a mid day hang.

It's small, hidden away in a strip mall and it's good. I had the special, which was pork tenderloin and it was good but not terrific. My spouse had the burger, which was great. Lots of fries! Prices getting up there considering the competition. Funky little restaurant.

I just stopped by for a drink with a group of people on a pub crawl. I remember a nice backyard outside area to sit, relax, chat, and drink as well as the indoor area. Safety Harbor has a number of small pubs within walking distance.
