Sometimes you just don't want your regular dinner stuff...heading to a Pub (a lot of them have become Gastronomic Pubs), the food is usually pretty good!Came at around 5pm and found out that they are still doing the Happy Hour (3 - 6pm daily) and the menu selection is actually pretty good!We ordered a few items from that menu and also the Feature of the Day:Mug of Prawns $8.00 4/5 starsSimple as it looks, this is way much better then most of the AYCE buffets that also features hand peeled shrimps, the shrimps here tasted sweet and has a nice texture!Salt & Pepper Dry Ribs $8.00 4/5 starsYour regular Pub Fare, done right can be dangerous, as you can't stop munching on these delectable morsels of crunchy savoury goodness!Perfect for your beer!Bruschetta $8.00 4/5 starsFresh tomatoes diced with garlic and onion, you get what I mean! With a drizzle of balsamic, its savoury, sweet, sour all at the same time on a chewy piece of pizza bread.Fish & Chips $10.99 4/5 starsLight, crispy, flaky, flavourful! The Fish is perfectly friend without being greasy at all! (Check out their daily specials). As you can see, all these are good solid Pub Food done well! With a glass of your favourite brew, you a set for a great evening!Cheers!Final Score: 4 stars!!Verdict: Recommended for both Drinks & Food!

Based on recent reviews, I wasn't expecting much. But I have to say this restaurant mostly exceeded my expectations. The service from our server was excellent; she offered a couple of tasters when I was unsure of which beer I wanted, she was quick with the wine refill for my acquaintance, and she was knowledgeable about the food offerings. The drink options were decent, the quality of food was excellent. The haddock and chips huge and tasty, chickens wings done well and the salad quite extensive.Price was a little above average for this type of cuisine; ok for us as it was a business write off. And the location is out of the way from the main part of Richmond. I wouldn't make a special trip to come here but if in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to come here as selection is limited.

A friend won a gift certificate for four of us to enjoy a private tour of this craft brewery in Richmond B.C. Our guide was one of the owners and entertaining while sharing the history and facts about craft brewing. We sampled a number of beers and all found ones that our now our new favourites! The tapas from local restaurants with high quality ingredients and standards were excellent as well. Plan to visit Fuggles and Warlock - worth it!!

Only one caveat- in the cooler months at busy times it can get noisy! This can be a very busy place! GREAT location with lots of atmosphere. I have the same thing most times - a burger with goat cheese and two small glasses of lager. The lager beer is the best Iâve had. The interior think creamy white wood wicker and blue accents. Nautical. If you sit outside which in good weather is an obvious choice even if it is a tad chilly - you can ask for a warm wrap to take the chill off and they have outside overhead heat lamps. I doubt youâll regret visiting this spot.

The decor was ok with a dark wood theme happening... very British Isles. The burger I had was average; large and filling but the patty was dry and overcooked with too large tomato slices. My colleague had the calamari; a few pieces at the bottom covered by a lot of red onion... not worth what he paid. Service was adequate. However, in the end I think we would have been better off eating in the more touristy area by the wharf... prices were cheaper there than here at the Buck and Ear. A generous 3 stars.

Really liked this place. Food was great, service was a bit slow but it was a sunday (Father's day) and was really busy. It didnt matter though, it was great to just sit and enjoy the sunshine with a drink.

Our friend Jonathan highly recommended the Brewhouse to us, especially on Fridays when the prime ribs are on sale at $16.99. Our server (Alisa) was very helpful and even offered to brew me a fresh pot of coffee. The prime rib arrived with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. It was a healthy serving of meat (about 12 ounces) our only complaint is that we ordered medium rare and our order arrived well done. There is ample off street parking. Although the name suggests that this is a public house we noticed the there is signage advising "minors welcome" so I would believe that this establishment is operating under a restaurant license but the decor is designed to resemble a pub.Hi Renegade225,I'm sorry to hear we overcooked your steak, I would love to talk to you more about your experience. If you wouldn't mind following up with me by emailing me at [email protected] or calling me at 780-709-5015 it would be very much appreciated. Thanks,Theo

I had no idea this cute pub was just down the hill from the start/finish to the Arbutus Trail into Vancouver. What a great discovery. We enjoyed a great lunch after cycling the pathway. One couple shared generous portions of Korean Short Ribs & Salmon Flatbread. After much indecision, one chose the Halibut tacos & claimed it was the perfect portion as well as delicious. I had the Gunwale chicken wrap which was very tasty, the side salad was fresh& I would order it again. We sat on a very nice sunny patio. It was the perfect ending to a fun ride.

Went there for a quick lunch. Had to watch two servers standing around chatting while ignoring me. When a server did finally show up, the attitude left me cold...something like my lunch which was supposed to be heated. It was my first visit in 5 years and my last one for sure. We're sorry if any of our staff seemed inattentive with you on your visit and did not get the quality of service you were to meet your expectations. Our staff is usually very outgoing and friendly. We appreciate all comments and will be looking into this with the staff on schedule at the time. We do wish you come back and try us again in the future.

Attended a get together with about thirty others. Staff took good care of us and were very accommodating...the snack for we had was good and plentiful. Parking was free across the street although we had to be careful which spots were could use. The food off the menu looked good....will try and get back as itâs not in my neighbourhood.
