Discover Restaurants offering the best Pub food in Pozzuoli, Province of Naples, Italy. Just a few miles west of Naples (and easily reached by train), the ancient seaside city of Pozzuoli is probably best known for its bradyseism, a raising and lowering of the Earth’s surface due to underground volcanic activity. Many sites remain from Pozzuoli’s days as an important Roman port, including the Macellum or Temple of Serapis, which for many years was submerged under water. The Flavian Amphitheater (Italy’s third-largest) and the Cathedral of Rione Terra are other popular attractions.

We have been enjoying Bob and Clare since moving here last year. It is a nice change from the normal pizzaria grub that can get old after a while. The theme is Old West and they serve a very good cheesesteak sandwich. Bob and Clare is popular with the locals and not geared toward the expat crowd at all. They speak very little english which is unexpected with the very American theme. Try the chicken sandwich it is the best I have had here in Italy. The Italian food looks good but I am in the mood for good old American food when I go there so I haven't tried it.(yet)

stopped in for a drink before dinner, we were the only patrons....within thirty minutes the place was packed, we were elbow to elbow & chair to chair. The cocktails were not exactly what we were used to....but the bartender was very enthusiastic with his pours! needless to say, our night started out strong.

Well, perhaps the only place for hamburgers. Still, the hamburgers are excellent. The french fries are also delicious. A very large restaurant so getting a table not a problem at all. I suspect it will be very popular during beach season.Perhaps only downside was the wait staff was inattentive. Not rude, but a couple missteps such as forgetting a side dish. Overall, a good experience and nice to have a well made burger.

We wanted somewhere simple near Damiani's that was open in the off season. This fitted the bill. It is situated on the main road into town from the west.It advertises its draft beer credentials on the way in. On your right, is a glass wall showing you how all the kegs of beer (and Coke) are stored and served. Strangelly, this includes one British lager that is only drunk by alcoholics, back home. The place was full of fathers with their children. We then remembered that it was Fathers' day, so the clientele may not be a regular representation. There was also a table of young lads drinking beer and watching sport on the television. Our table was adorned with sachets of ketchup and mayonnaise. The menu is simple and priced reasonably. We both had the house burger with a mixed salad to share. The burger plate consisted of two beef patties, topped with cheese and bacon. There were also a couple of local vegetable dishes on the side of the plate. This was actually a tasty Italian interpretation of a dish that you can get anywhere and it provided us with a change from the excellent, and perhaps more authentic, Italian cuisine, that we had on the rest of our trip. The mixed salad was unremarkable. but the beer was excellent. We were in-and-out within the hour and the bill was less than â¬30 for two. On returning to our car, a man was there to guide us out onto the main road safely.I suspect that this place is best suited to watching football, drinking beer and eating food as an afterthought. The food it serves is not bad at all.

The few times that we came here... The place never disappoints. Easier to be seated on a regular weekday than on a friday night or saturday night that you have to wait long in line. The interior is decorated with the seven dwarves painting and i find it cute. The food was good and price is also reasonable. They serve great cheese steak and spicy chicken (pollo piccante) and the service is pretty quick. Waitresses were kind and accommodating. Always a great experience.

The promenade of Via Napoli Pozzuoli hosts the TheSign, a GastroPub in SteamPunk style or, for those not expert in the genre, Victorian - Industrial Revolution. The distillery and the cocktails are entrusted by Michele, a bartender with international expe
On Lungomare, this pub offers great variety of beers and hamburgers. We tried the vegetarian one (a bit dry, so ask for extra sauce). We also had Patate fritte alla Caprese (similar to Quebec's famous Poutine) a must try! Great place to get away from pizza and pasta only restaurants.Thank you for your positive review! :)See you soon,Federica

Surprised at first by ambiance in the restaurant, it doesn't really look like a burger place. Good service, you're welcomed with a glass of Prosecco... definitely sounds like a fancy restaurant. But when the burgers came, we understood it wasn't a joke, this place is really for burgers. Very tasty, good choice of homemade breads, meat, and cheese. Plates are beautiful, ingredients are fresh and quality. Wide variety of beers, everything was perfect. Ottimo !
