We keep going but the same ol'. Atmosphere great, food great, service not so much.We sat at the bar and were ignored all night. Had to keep asking the guy on the grill for even the basics like silverware. I would ask my bar neighbors for a second opinion but their glasses were empty too.-G

My sister and I stayed 3 days in the Point Pleasant area to show our children where we grew up and had to take them to Jenks. We sat out on the deck and waited for 30 minutes to order. Service was bad but what do you expect from 16 year olds. Food was average at best. This still looks a place to down beers but not food so much.

Located across the street from the beach on Route 35 in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, Marlins Café is a local favorite! The McKennaâs welcome you to Marlins as they continue to strive to keep Marlins a local go-to & staple in the Point Pleasant Beach & Bay He
Here's the thing - they have a large menu, over 20 appetizers, some of which are out of the ordinary, and another 5 pages of the menu that cover sandwiches, pasta, seafood, steak, and various other entrees. I've been here a bunch of times, but it had been over a year since my last visit. Appetizer and entrée prices are reasonable.Recommended appetizers: Santa Fe burrito, Piri Piri shrimp, beer steamed clamsTasty entrees: flounder florentine, Mardi Gras mahi mahi, burger platter, pizzaThere's a wide variety offered here, and the chef does a terrific job with most everything. My personal favorite is the Mardi Gras mahi mahi, very tasty and very different. The pizza here is surprisingly good for a non-Italian place. If I was just rating the food, it would be an excellent rating, the ambiance is okay, and the drink prices are a little high outside of the happy hour that ends by 6:00. I get a little annoyed paying $3.75 to $5.00 for domestic draught beers on a Tuesday, but don't let that stop you from coming - the food here is far better compared to other comparable places.

Went to Jenks Club. The band was Smoking Jackets. They played mostly classic rock. They were very good. The place was hopping after 9pm.Security everywhere. There is an outdoor area with a bar. There are around 6 bars inside including a frozen drink area bar.Everyone was in a great mood having a great time. Kelly at the back bar was really nice and friendly.Prices typical for night life. No food after 9pm. Did have the nachos early in the night and they were big and good.

Mostly take out or eat in food. Place your order at the entrance and pick it up when they call your number. There is a small area with wait staff. Sandwiches, salads and other Boardwalk type food. Lot of people, activity and noise. Good enough for a quick bite.

The restaurant has a large bar area with multiple TV's throughout the establishment. Upon entering you'll be overwhelmed by the level of chatter which can be distracting. The crowd appears to be middle age along with families with young kids which was unusual. Didn't notice a young crowd but perhaps it was too early (8:00 PM), you know old people eat early. The service was generally good and consistent, Luis addressed any of our concerns and had great suggestions on meal options. All of our meals and appetizers were very well presented and of great flavor. All in all it was a "VERY INTERESTING ESTABLISHMENT", since options are limited in Point Pleasant, I would definitely return.

Read about this restaurants wings as being one of the better ones around and wanted to check them out.I have to say they were a nice size and grilled. Where I was disappointed with wasthe sauce, only 2 offered Barbeque and Buffalo.I have been to some of the other top Wing locations and most offer 4 or 5 choices but not as meaty.Service was good, location a little hard to fine and more a hometown crowd seem to frequent this restaurant which is ok.

Newly opened this year, Amendment 21 is an excellent addition to it's parent restaurant, Europa. It has a speakeasy atmosphere and was fun to be in. Service was prompt and friendly. We noticed food came out of the shared kitchen with Europa, so we knew it would be good. The menu reminds us of a tapas menu - lots to taste. We started with potato skins. Literally, the peeled skins of potatoes, lightly seasoned and flash fried. OMG were these fabulous!! Did I mention the bacon alioli dipping sauce? Mmmmm. Then the entrees - Pork-cornbread skillet and chicken jerk tacos. The skillet contained homemade cornbread on the bottom, topped with macaroni & cheese, then BBQ pulled port on top. It was mouth-watering! The chicken jerk tacos were well seasoned and melted in your mouth as well. A definite great meal! We'll go again!

We were looking for a casual 'burger' type place and were told about Frankie's. Very disappointing. The service was fine, but the food did not taste good. I ordered French Onion soup and it tasted as if someone poured water in a cup; then hovered an onion over the water. I tasted better burgers at McDonald's. No redeeming value to this place.

We're a laid back Pub at the Jersey Shore that serves locally caught fish, locally grown fruits & vegetables and locally brewed beer whenever possible. Award winning Burgers & Chili as well as the areas longest running Happy Hour (11:30am - 6pm) Enjoy Kar
I moved to Maryland years ago but whenever I visit my Mom in Lavallette I always try to stop in at the Ark. Been going there for as long as I can remember (finished their 40-40 beer club list a long time ago) and I've never had a bad meal, no matter what I order (usually seafood, though I really like their hot wings as well). The place was hopping, even on a Saturday night in February(!) but we were seated quickly and served just as fast (without feeling rushed). Very diverse menu but they seem to do everything well. If I still lived close by I'm sure I'd go there enough that they would know me by name very soon (it really has that great "local hangout" kind of feel).David, thank you so much for your kind words!! We really appreciate it! Glad you continue to enjoy us, & weâll see you soon!
