We are a pub that offers food, B & B and live music, we also host conferences, weddings & beer festivals. Postcode TR5 0RT
Went to this pub on a Saturday and the main bar area was very busy and with locals all crowded round the bar not willing to move for anyone wanting to buy a drink. A number had dogs lying at their feet providing tripping obstacles for anyone carrying their drinks back to their table.Bars should be for serving drinks and not for everyone to pitch themselves for the night and not a place for people to park their dogs.It would be much more sensible to allocate a section of the bar as a serving area only and for dogs to be hidden away under tables or chairs. There is another section to the pub up one or two steps and that provides more seating but itâs not got the ambience of the main bar.Looked at menu and it seems quite pricey. £12.95 for fish and chips. £15 for a burger and £22 for 8oz steak....Had an excellent pint of local bitter but other than that, little to entice me to stay.....oh, and did I mention the locals parking themselves at the bar ?Note to manager: itâs bloominâ annoying having to bob your head around the heads of people just standing at the bar drinking hoping to get the attention of a bar tender; and then having to squeeze hands between the shoulders of said people parked at bar in order to gingerly manoeuvre two pints without spilling them.

This pub has a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We had a meal in the dinning room which is very light, modern and comfortable. The food was great and beautifully cooked, there was so much it was difficult but not impossible to clean the plate. Definitely recommend this place.

The Deck is a Freehouse and has been pulling pints in Perranporth since 1984. It has changed and grown with the town, it now sits at the heart of the community and is well known for great fun nights. We now have Karaoke Nights on Wednesdays, Open Mic on T
Would definitely get 5/5 if they still did food, used to love the tapas there so this was really disappointing. However, as a pub it's definitely our first choice in Perranporth, especially on Thursdays when they have the Open Mic night, have seen some really talented local singers there. They have also stopped showing the sports (I think they have cancelled the subscription) which my husband was disappointed about so had to go somewhere else for that.

First visit to the Smugglers Den Inn & we plumped for the roast beef after starters of deep fried Brie & soup of the day!The roast was plentiful, lots of beef served on a bed of cabbage, roast potatoes & a delicious puffy Yorkshire pud. Additional vegetables on the side, green beans, carrots & cauliflower were cooked well. There was too much gravy on the plate & it was a little thin. However, this is personal preference & if we visit again which I am certain we will then I would ask for the gravy to be in a jug on the side. The portions were large so we unfortunately couldnât fit in a dessert.Service was great & all the staff were welcoming & very helpful. Super dog friendly so our 7 month old puppy Elsa was able to join us which makes such a difference to our enjoyment.Look forward to returning in 2020

Food OK. Staff lovely. Tempted by the locally sourced fresh food sign outside the pub. In reality, frozen chips and pre prepared portions from âBrakesâ the food wholesalers. So edible, but not locally sourced fresh ingredients as claimed. And therefore not good value for our party

We enjoyed a fabulous meal here. Tuesday night is pie night and my husband wasn't disappointed. His steak and ale pie was homemade and stuffed full with steak. I had a mushroom and halloumi ciabatta with salad which was awesome. The chips were recommended and didn't disappoint!! All the staff here are lovely and incredibly welcoming. You won't leave here hungry that's for sure!

We are a family run pub, serving good quality food. Right on the high street with all SKY and BT sport.
We stopped off for a drink and was surprised at just how many TV screens they have in this bar to show the sport. Thereâs quite a lot of seats for everyone and a pool table at the rear with yet another TV. It seemed like it was more of a locals pub rather than many tourists being in there but that may well be different in the height of summer. Drinks were a little more expensive than elsewhere in town but they are dog friendly so thatâs always a bonus.

Sat in the heart of Perranporth, The Tywarnhayle Inn is a family run, family friendly pub serving home cooked food and local ales 7 days a week.
We were 10 in number staying in a 6 bedroom house at Penhallow near Perranporth, in Cornwall. Being our last evening together, we decided to have a meal at the Tywarnehayle Inn in Perranporth. Ringing up at the last minute, we were able to book for all 10 of us to eat together. Arriving at 6.30pm and able to park 3 cars in their car park, we were shown to our table and after much deliberation, placed our orders, while having a pre meal drink and a chat. All meals were delivered at the same time, piping hot and very good portions, all within approximately 45 minutes. Thoroughly recommend this dog friendly establishment for families and friends. Compliments to the chef and staff, all of whom were very professional and obliging. Thank you.

First visit to Cornwall in a good few years and dropped in here after a midweek visit to the Eden Project. Exceptional. Warm and human and dog friendly welcome, great beer choice, unrivalled (in my experience) Vegetarian and Vegan Options. Generous portions...... just excellent. The Fidgit Pie alone is worth another 500 mile round trip. Delay not.
