Situated on one of Cornwall's most stunning bays, the Old Success is a beautiful 17th century fisherman's inn, which has been transformed into comfortable, modern rooms and apartments while retaining its charm and character. With clear blue sea and fine s
Excellent food. Best meals of our holiday. Great seafood. Courteous service. My husband said the Asian Broth was outstanding. Lovely atmosphere. We will be back. Thank you very much for this lovely 5* review, it is greatly appreciated. We do hope to see you back again very soon!

Ate in Red Lion 3 times whilst on our week to Newlyn on final night husband ordered the fish pie - he found a piece of what looked and felt like pottery in it - when he told the chef she said it was crab shell. My husband said it felt like it had nearly broken his tooth she said âYou poor f***er I wonât charge for itâ - appalling - horrible end to a lovely week

Traditional Cornish Inn providing B&B accommodation and a real ale and cider house. We are a freehouse and serve all our brews straight from the barrel. We also have great pub grub, outdoor eating in the summer and a real log fire in the winter.
Room was clean and comfortable - with lots of character. Our hosts were very helpful and happily accommodated my travelling companions request for secure bicycle storage. Gave plenty of good information about the local area and made suggestions as to what I could do with my limited time the next day, providing me with maps and instructions. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and delicious. Overall a very good night in a characterful B&B.hi, thank you for your positive response we always go the extra mile for our guests, and try to get it right? pete&jennifer.

Family run pub/restaurant with ample parking and a large beer garden with children's climbing frame. We sell Cornish Ales and Cornish lager, along side the usual pub classics. We are open seven days a week from midday and our restaurant is open seven days
We chose this place to eat because of the certificate of excellence status. However, it wasnât as good as I was expecting. The food is good no frills pub grub and the place is family friendly. The service was welcoming and efficient. So all in all a great place if youâre on holiday with the family and on a budget but it wasnât a place that was notable or a âmust visitâ.

Built in 1271, The Tinners Arms has been at the heart of village life in Zennor for over 700 years. Originally built to accommodate the masons who constructed St Senaraâs Church, famous for its mermaid, youâll find little has changed over the years. Moder

The Gurnards Head is a fabulous old inn looking out to the Atlantic, round the corner from the farming hamlet of Treen. Just 500 yards from the dramatic coastline, isolated, but within 15 minutes of Penzance and St Ives, this handsome hideout ticks eve
Never ceases to amaze... in the middle of nowhere! in a very beautiful place the Gurnardâs always comes up as special. A variety of tasty starters including gurnard, were followed by venison, bream, steak all well presented, cooked and tasty. The staff efficient and friendly look forward to our next visit!

What else can I say... great local with a wonderful pint of Guinness, lovely landlord and lady who make you very welcome. Didnât eat but lots of Sunday roasts being ordered, donât think there was a vegan or veggie alternative but everyone was everyone enjoying the carnivorous option. Donât expect any frills mind, thatâs a good thing in my book

We popped in for a pint and decided to stay for an early evening meal as well. Contrary to other recent reviews posted here, we were served fairly quickly by friendly staff. We both chose the home made chicken, ham and leek pies which were absolutely crammed with meat and delicious, served with new potatoes and vegetables. Pleasantly impressed with the food, I would definitely come back again.

We were staying at the nearby campsite, and booked here as we could walk. Very pleased we did. Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. My husband had the steak and ale pie, and I had the three cheese tart. Both were delicious and appeared home made, with crispy chips and perfectly cooked vegetables. Lovely chocolate pudding to finish. Will definitely return!!
