Sono stato con la mia comitiva presso il locale XXL a Villanova ed abbiamo trascorso una serata carinissima.Eravamo venuti in occasione dell'esibizione di una band, i Medinita, che hanno animato la serata facendoci scatenare e ballare!Con l'occasione abbiamo cenato e tutto si è rivelato una piacevolissima sorpresa. Il menu offre specialità per ogni tipo di esigenza, dalla braceria, alla pizzeria, alle fritture fino alle specialità estere.Personalmente ho preso un panino, dal menu americano, con pulled pork. La carne era succulenta e il panino fenomenale, servito con patatine. I miei amici hanno ordinato pizza, costolette di maiale e panini e i loro commenti sono stati molto positivi.Vasta anche la scelta di birre.Per un panino pulled pork, una bottiglietta di acqua e coperto con animazione ho speso 11,50â¬.Consigliatissimo!

Visited here tonight on recommendation, but particularly as they cater for Gluten-Free.It's a solid Italian Pizzeria and the Coeliac in our party loved his G/F Margarita. Reasonably priced and it filled up with guests very quickly.It is an Italian Pizzeria, so don't go expecting any ham & pineapple or any hot & spicy. This pizzeria is the opportunity to taste local fare. (I'll have to get back home to try hot & spicy again ).

If you are looking for a change of pace in Puglia this little pub/restaurant was ideal. They technically open at 700pm (or when they are ready) and the place fills up by 900pm. Only ever saw locals here on my 2 visits. Sampled both their hamburger and pizza and both were excellent!The bar has a large sample of local beers on tap. Unfortunately I ended up sticking with the Blanche from Belgium as it was the best choice......The pub is located down a small street just below the from the main Piazza. Look for the sign out of the street corner advertising the nightly meal specials.Staff are friendly and helpful in sampling beer and in giving food suggestions.Thank you for all. Also, we renew the tap list always, you can find the best choice in a good italian or apulian craft beer. See you.

We went here twice through an arrangement with our masseria (hotel) for an evening meal. The food was stupendous, the price reasonable. The antipasti alone (12 dishes?) was enough for us and contained a wonderful selection of local Puglian specialities. Very warm welcome. First class!

We were recommended not to miss cafe riccardo but after a cursory visit found the cave bar very uninviting and lacking energy and outside space on cascading steps with no viewWhy la mela bacata - the outdoor space is unbeatable.The seating area is on cascading steps with the most amazing direct view of Adriatic and drink prices compared to its trendier neighbour next door as mentioned much cheaperOn another note they have a wide choice of fresh juicesA wonderful spot to enjoy a drink before dinner

Our favourite restaurant in Ostuni. Ate here on three occasions and was never disappointed. Food was good, plenty of choice and reasonably price. Great selection of beers to keep partner happy. Only down side was the toilet being in the eating area and people queuing or leaving the door open.

After a few nights of more formal restaurants we decided to visit Sax to try a local delicacy.... The panino con pulpo. Wine and locally produced real ale went down well, pulpo we loved and seafood pasta delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, would definitely go back.

Very friendly and prompt service at this little pub bar down one of the many delightful side streets of Ostuni. Perfect place for a pre-dinner drink or a longer session into the evening. It has a very extensive menu of beers from all over the globe and a decent number of Italian brews on tap. As we left, the manager suggested we try a new restaurant down another side street that his brother was managing. This turned out to be an even better recommendation!

What fantastic gem of a place. We only popped in for a light lunch, however the ambience, decor and incredible Welcome were exactly what we needed for a long day. A light chicken salad for me, and a fantastic Gino 2 for my wife. You really should try the Gin cocktail called the Sombrero, looks and taste like a really healthy smoothie but with a delicious gin taste to it. Great place, great people, great food. You couldn't ask for anything else.
