Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Nottingham. This town in the very center of England is perhaps best known for its association with the legend of Robin Hood. The men in tights are long gone, though—today, you’ll find a modern city with a fantastic playhouse, ice hockey arena, and many, many shops and clubs.

Some confusion with the Groupon voucher meant we ordered 2 courses but still had to pay for our desserts as the Groupon was for starter and main only, not main and dessert. Disappointing as we told the waitress when we arrived that we had the 2 course Groupon and ordered our food and nothing was said until our bill arrived. We didn't have the starters that were included but still charged for the desserts. The food wasn't great, the burger tasted gristly. Ice cream sundaes were very basic. Quite disappointed after reading the great reviews and won't return. We are sorry you were disappointed. Unfortunately it states on the terms and conditions on the Groupon site and also on the voucher what is included in the deal and that it can not be exchanged for anything else without a surcharge being paid. We are sorry you didn't enjoy the food and hope you reconsider about trying us again

We love the building so nearly always pop in for a drink when in Nottingham, however on Sunday we were even more surprised to find that they had live music in the form of a string quartet who were excellent and made for a lovely atmosphere (especially as it's a converted church). Drinks choice is ok however they could do with more ales.Hi andycG3283JR, Glad to hear you had a really enjoyable afternoon with us and enjoyed the Highly Strung Quartet as much as we did. I will pass on your feedback to head office in regards to drinks choices. We hope to see you all again soon Kind RegardsMicaBookings manager.

A classic British gastropub with modern ideals. Situated in the heart of Wilford, Nottingham. The Tailors Arms is a smart British gastropub & bar. We strive to produce high quality, locally sourced accessible food. From weekend brunches and late night dri
We booked the Tailors Arms in Wilford for a family gathering after a funeral. Before the funeral we went in to talk to the owner, Theo, who filled us with confidence that we had chosen the correct venue, he could not have been more supportive or professional. We were allocated an area of the pub which was for funeral guests only and we were assured that members of the public would not be allowed in. We discussed the format of the buffet with both vegan and vegetarian options available, we were uncertain of our numbers but Theo was not fazed by this saying that he would provide more food on the day, if we thought we were running short. In the end we had 35+ guests there was plenty of space for everyone, the room was light, bright, and comfortable. The buffet food was excellent with sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls and warm pork pie (which seemed to go down particularly well with our guests). The sweets included bite sized brownies, muffins and some delicious homemade scones which were huge, tea and coffee were freely available in the room. The staff did a really good job unobtrusively clearing used glasses and plates away, and although the pub was quite busy whilst we were there no one bothered us. At no time did we feel rushed or under pressure to get out of the room. Organising a funeral is always a stressful task, but dealing with Theo at the Tailors Arms made that part of the day easy. The venue was perfect, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it for any similar event.

Venezia is one of Nottinghamâs most popular traditional Italian restaurant for all the family. Italian chefs and true Italian food hand picked and sourced from the finest suppliers available. We pride ourselves on our home made dishes, all hand prepared b
Our third and probably last visit to Venezia.Walked into the restaurant about half an hour before our table reservation, with the intention of getting a drink prior to our meal. Attempted to order at bar, but was interrupted by a member of staff as they were obviously having a dispute with the bar staff about a dining tables orders for drinks. Got the feeling then that there was something amiss for the night, and should have bailed!Restaurant was very busy, with staff running around all over the place, it was a strange environment, we were very conscious that we were an inconvenience and in the way all the time, rather than being a welcomed guest. A feeling I couldn't shake for the evening.Made it to our table, which was nice, food was very slow. Sat down at 8 and main course arrived just after 9:15. To be fair the food was good, fillet steak was excellent, vegetarian risotto was missing some seasoning but was good. However restaurant was obviously overbooked for the kitchen capacity, what was supposed to be a celebratory meal felt like it was a rather fraught dinner at a school canteen. Staff were not interested and to be honest by the end we were please to get away.Shame as it was becoming a favourite restaurant in the area, but we will go an be an 'inconvenience' elsewhere in the future!

The cocktail masterclass was so much fun and such good value for money. We got lots of booze included and played games. Matt was brilliant. He went above and beyond to make sure that we all enjoyed ourselves and had great banter. He needs a pay rise!!! Thank you to the whole team :) I would definitely recommend. Ps. Sorry for all of the confetti mess we left!Hi Laursmitchell, thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to write us a great review! I'm so happy to hear you had a great time with us and we look forward to your next visit. See you soon!

I am a student at the university of Nottingham. The rose and crown is in Nottingham. That is convenient. I go to the rose and crown. In fact, I drink beer there. The staff are great. They can even remember long orders without writing it down. Very commendable. I like the rose and crown. I think you would too. I recommend the rose and crown for everyone between the ages of 18 and 100. Thatâs because anyone under 18 isnât legal and nobody in Nottingham lives to be over 100. Thanks.Fraser R, thank you for sharing your positive experience! Positive yet quite bizarre, please make yourself known to me next time you are around, I'd like to shake your hand. Thank you, and have a fantastic day!Steph
