So... a converted house on a busy corner has an equal likelihood of being a scary dive as being a treasure gem. Hubby & I opted to find out on a winter Saturday night around 6-ish. First impression is dive - no hostess, bartender shouts out "Hey! How ya doin'?", mostly male diners turn to see who came in. We presumed it's seat yourself, so we did, and then looked around to see the clientele were not too scary. The largest group appeared to be a football team of 20-30 somethings. By "football", I mean soccer - they weren't speaking English and some had shin guards on. The rest were a sprinkling of folks who seemed to be there to hang with their friends pub style. The music was loud, but enjoyably so, and the selection "classic" enough to invoke a little sing-along even if only audible between us two. As best I could tell two women single handedly worked the whole place. There has to be kitchen staff, but those two scrambled, keeping up with the front of the house. They did an amazing job. We shared the pork tacos ($5) and wings ($7.50). Both delicious - the tacos were unique, tasty, and not something I'd make at home; the wings were meaty and crispy without fat/skin to deal with. We both marveled that we now have two places in N. Royalton that make great wings -- so who's dining at the big chain wing joint? Probably families with small kids. I don't think I'd take under 10 kids, nor over 65 parents into The Park Tavern, but hubby & I will go back and we'll probably take our over 21 kids. I expect we'll have a great time & probably sing a few of those great tunes... maybe we'll sing loudly next time. Final bill - Stella, Yuengling, 2 Twisted Teas, 2 tacos & 10 wings with celery = 29.54 after tax, before tip.

Not much to look at from the outside. Inside it’s surprisingly large, with nice decor and comfortable booths. Our server, Katlyn was very friendly and helpful. She gave us some recommendations. I had to try the Jalapeño Cornbread, it’s a warm whole loaf, very good. And the Barbecued Spaghetti was too intriguing to pass up. Think Chili spaghetti with Barbecued pork instead of chili. I really liked it. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap was good. The Margherita Chicken Sandwich had good taste but the Ciabatta Bread was so hard, you could break a tooth. Overall, a very good meal.

Becky welcomed us and remembered it was Dave's birthday. She made him a special margarita to celebrate. We only had the specials, $1.00 soft tacos and $.49 wings and I had my special side dish of mac n'cheese. Had a wonderful time. Becky is so special.Karen had already left for the evening. That's okay, we saw them both last Friday and had a lasagna dinner that was to die for. Can't say enough about their fresh entrees and excellent service. We love it there! Carol and Dave

Here is a great little sports bar with excellent food and great service. The pizza is to die for and the Cajun wings are the best on the west side! The bartenders are always on top of their game to keep your drinks flowing. They have food specials everyday and an excellent happy hour. Only negative thing I can say about this place is it has limited parking because it's in a small plaza. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed!

Love this place and go there often. Everything we have had on the menu is great. We especially like the Seared Scallops and Hangar Steak. We noticed they added a Korean Beef Bowl which we will try next time. This visit was for Taco Tuesday! Margaritas are $5 and yummy Chorizo Tacos are just $2 each and a very good Carne Asada steak taco is only $3. The service has always been great, especially Danielle. Be sure to ask for her, she will make sure you are well taken care of. Other reviewers have mentioned it can be loud, if that is a problem, ask for an outside table.

We thought we would try out this latest restaurant after the North Royalton animal fair. This location and building has gone through several management and name changes. We remember Marge and Tom's 82nd Street Grill and Pub which set the standard for fine dining and service. Later it became Caribbean Cowboy whose owner drastically "renovated" the interior with horrid corrugated metal awnings off the walls. She could not take food criticism very well and eventually shut down. Now we have Marios. we approach the front door and notice that the false brick front is still crumbling. Inside we are greeting with a chopper on display. So is this a biker bar, inappropriate for kids or is it an Italian restaurant? There are some mixed signals here. Very little if any renovation has been done to the place. The horrid corrugated awnings are still there but thankfully someone had the common decency to paint over that gaudy Caribbean Cowboy mural. The sign said that we should wait to be seated so we waited. There was customer at the bar and guy and his son at a booth. A waitress was seen by the kitchen chatting with the help and a bar tender was at the bar. We waited over five minutes by the door. We waived at the bar tender who looked up, saw us, ignored us and then went back to her much more important conversation. We left, never to return. If a restaurant is incapable of at least acknowledging customers waiting to be seated then it is doomed to failure. I can not recommend Marios in North Royalton due to non-existent service.

Arrived at 3 PM and was seated immediately. Place was not very crowded. That made me question why our server took so long to serve us. She did a fine job explaining the menu and specials and made some suggestions. I ordered the chicken sausage gumbo which was very good. My wife ordered a burger and daughter got chicken tenders. The food was good but but price was a little high. Will go back just hope we get quicker service.
