It's a pretty typical irish pub, dark and inviting. But the surprise was the quality of the food. We went here based on prior reviews and were not disappointed. The servers were freindly , and the food was served promptly, hot and tasty. A little bit tight for seating and the place was packed. Would definently recommend, if your in the areaThanks for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

A family style restaurant located at intersection of Elliot st and Chestnut st in historic Newton Upper Falls. offers a very family friendly cozy environment . Upper dining room and bar area. Excellent Italian inspired food- chicken & veal cutlet, lasagne, ravioli as well as pizza. This was our first choice for a family gathering after a funeral, the food would be excellent but we choose a different spot to meet. I have eaten here a few times and always enjoyed it- very reasonable price.

We've been going here for well over a year and are losing faith in the corporate mentality that is placing the almighty dollar before the happiness of employees and contentment of customers. My drink price was raised $3 recently and all of our favorite bartenders are leaving, rapidly one by one. Some of the managers are very nice but others are driving quality people away. I'm sad to see Anthony's changing so much. New spaghetti with one meatball is delicious but way overpriced for the portion given. Better off with an Italian restaurant that isn't a chain.

This location has turned over a few times over the past several years. I hope District 118 can make it last. They have done a nice job with the space - very clean and open; not loud at all, even when full (that seems to be the challenge with most new restaurants these days). The menu has a great variety and they allow you to custom order your entrees as needed (I have food aversions and they were easily accommodated). The service was very friendly and quick (but not rushing you out the door). I've been twice now.. once with a larger group and another for date night. Both times were very enjoyable and relaxing. A great new addition to this area.

Love this place! The bar side was pretty noisy but they have a table area which was more quiet. Food was great! Really loved the appetizers and deserts. Teriyaki Cauliflower - tastyDeviled egg - awesome although you need to share this; too much to eat aloneSteak tips - nicely charredBurger - standard goodDessert - this fried dough with Nutella - really sinful but of course will never go wrongThe service was very good with the server coming to us every now and then to see if we need anything but also assuring us we can take our time. Overall a very pleasant experience!

We had a delicious dinner at Cook. I had the salmon with the crispy rice and it is fantastic. Flavorful and light. Great beer selection. Adequate wine selection. The Tagalatelli pasta is homemade and delicious. Our waitress, Paras was fantastic. Made great recommendations and regularly checked in. We will definitely go again.

We recently tried O'Hara's in Newton, MA. Drinks were good, food was average (salmon we had was overcooked and dry), service was good, and prices were reasonable. The atmosphere, friendly patrons, good bar service, and drinks are the things to bring you here. Thanks for the review! I am sorry to hear about the salmon, if there is every an issue with your meal, please always let us know while you are dining with us so we can be sure to make it right for you! Hope to see you in again soon :)

Five of us who had a meeting in Needham chose Three Squares for convenience. Looking back at our experience, this was a fine choice. We had some excellent food, attentive and friendly service and a very useful conversation in what could have been a very noisy restaurant. Most of us had hot sandwiches preceded by stuffed and loaded potato skins. My sandwich was a very capacious Tuna Melt. My companions seemed to enjoy their selections. Our waitress as attentive and handled everything very well. A fine place!Thank You!

We were totally dazzled by the quality of the food. We each ordered the pork chop medium. And it came just so with mashed potatoes surrounding the chop and a bundle of broccolini along side. A good sized chop nicely grilled and so tasty. A can of Jacks Abby split between us and we were very happy. Bear in mind they take no reservations. Itâs also a family venue with young children and their parents all around us. Provided with drawing paper and crayons they were well contained. We arrived at 6:20 on a Saturday night and were seated by 6:45. Service was friendly and prompt and prices are reasonable. Conversation is challenging however we will return!
