Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Napa. Gold and silver may have been behind the hordes that flocked in the 1800s, but liquid gold - Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignons and Pinot Noirs - is behind the modern migration. This dream destination for wine lovers has an abundance of fine restaurants and inns. Horse posts have been replaced by bike racks, and pedal power is a great way to explore.

Billco's is a fun place to shoot pool, play darts, eat or have a drink. The pool tables are rented by the hour. The food and drinks are good; many beers available on tap. On certain evenings they feature live music which is loud but the space is small so it must be expected.

This place is one of the best new spots to relax and enjoy dinner in Napa. Totally meets the Napa expectations, and is very reasonably priced. Bar drinks are amazing and the food is even better. We have renovated a 10,000 square-foot iconic building in downtown Napa, bringing bold and flavorful craft beer to the region well-known for its amazing wine. Our newest outpost, located on 3rd Street and Soscol Avenue, includes a 10-barrel brewing system
OMG! What a really neat place. The old âstoneâ building is just a perfect place right on the river. Cinthya, our bartender/server, was absolutely delightful. We had such a great time with her and she was so helpful in finding me a few beers I could drink. I am not a beer drinker but âwhen in Romeâ as they say, I like to try them. I have never been able to find a Stone beer that I like until she convinced me to try a few. Hubby had a burger and I had the Ahi Poke Bowl (at her recommendation) and both our meals were amazingly good!! She just made our day so special and made me melt with a goodbye hug from her. Kudos to Stone and Cinthya! Thanks for the review Kathie! If you read more online reviews you find Cinthya's name popping up for positive interactions over and over again. She's amazing and we're so glad you had a nice time so she could show off her obvious hospitality skills. Hope to see you again soon. Thanks again for the feedback. Cheers.

Stopped by for a quick bite prior to a meeting. I realize this is a hotel - but $18.00 for two fish tacos, each had 1 piece(small) fried fish, avocado and cabbage on top. No rice, beans, nothing else. We also had the arugula salad $16. A tiny bit of chopped tomato, feta, sliced red onion on the bottom, a handful of arugula on top. It looked like a plate full of greens, no creativity. Maybe we choose unwisely. Burgers & fries at the other tables looked good. Once again, our master gardener class group held our monthly get together; this time at Hop Creek Gastropub. For us locals, a few years ago it was called Zins Valley restaurant. Now, it's a "gastropub". I think during this visit, it lived up to its name because the food was more upscale. Otherwise, it would just be another bar/restaurant. It's located in the Browns Valley Market campus, tucked in but the main entrance is facing the parking lot. On this day, the World Cup was playing on all the wall mounted TVs in the dining and bar area; so, the place was "hopping" with locals and visitors alike, watching the semi-final match between France and Belgium. France won. Oh yes, the food won as well. I ordered the "simply salmon salad" and it simply was very good. Typically, I'm a little apprehensive about how the salmon would taste or be cooked. This filet was nicely prepared and tasty on a nice bowl/bed of lettuce with house dressing. Our group also shared the serving of "brussel sprouts". The group consensus was that the brussel sprouts were just too overcooked, mushy, and too sweet for our tastes. It was a nice size order though. Some of us really enjoy making this item at home with our own recipes (baked in the oven with simple healthy ingredients). So, you either love them or don't. As I mentioned, it's a pub so there is a noise level that comes along with the dining experience. It was also lunch time, and the World Cup. The price was right too (about $23.00 per person). Viva La France and Viva Hop Creek Gastropub!

We live on the Peninsula and have our choice of high quality Mexican restaurants. Gran Electrica in Napa was outstanding in every way. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. They have an outstanding collection of tequila and mezcal, and the Mole Amarillo Con Pollo was the best mole dish I've had anywhere!

My son treated me to Mother's Day Brunch today at Napa Palisades Saloon. What a pleasant surprise! The staff were all friendly and attentive and the food was great. They have the standard eggs and such, but also a variety of other "newer" selections. Within walking distance of all downtown hotels.

The food was excellent, The service was only OK because we were asked over and over by different servers if we were finished with a dish. After awhile it became annoying. The prices were too high. The noise was deafening. People were obviously having a great time but half the time I couldnât hear the person sitting next to me.

Downtown Joe's Brewery is built into the historic Oberon Building on the Napa River. It has a full bar, river view dinning room and outdoor seating.
This place was great for breaking up the "fine dining" and "wine tasting" vibe of Napa. Everyone at the bar was really friendly and so were the locals. Overall, really good experience for the wife and I to get to know the Napa that isn't all vineyards and white table clothes.jinxmcdonald, thanks for taking the time to share your experience and for the 5 stars! We are glad you both came in and we got to show you a different side to Napa. We always strive for our customers to feel welcomed like a local and for them to enjoy our delicious menu.
