Reviews on Pub food in Messina, Province of Messina, Italy. At Sicily’s northeast tip, Messina is the first city being kicked by mainland Italy’s boot, just three miles across the Strait of Messina. It's a main port of entry for visitors via hydrofoils and ferries. Trains board the ferry, too, before continuing service. The 12th-century Norman cathedral, rebuilt after a 1908 earthquake destroyed it and much of the town, is the most famous attraction.

St. Taurus is a comfortable and clean " pub / brasserie " in the center of Messina . The lounge is large and bright and the staff is ready to answer all your questions . The menu is varied and full of good food to eat and well presented . There is a good selection of beers. St. Taurus is a welcome news that differs to pubs and breweries towns for the courtesy , the ambience and the excellent price - quality .

They have a Flintstones 'car' as a table. Different. Pretty busy on a Monday night. Good beer selection but no vino when we were there tonight. Pizza was quite good.

Ok, maybe just a pearl but you must visit this little place. We were wandering around lost, asked the busy guy (owner?) for directions, he comes out hands me a map and proceeds to quickly show me (in Italian) where we were and says caio and goes back to work! With kindness of this sort I had to buy something! Its one of those places you would normally walk by. Cautious at first I noticed the vegetable guy was bringing in cases of fresh baby eggplant and fantastic fresh plum tomatoes and the prettiest zucchini. In here! Sure enough the girl says 6 euro's 1 plate full. Wow. behind the glass was a whole selection of freshly made antipasto. Stuffed eggplant, Swordfish in Tomatoes and olives, eggplant parmesan, fresh green beans, marinated pumpkin, etc,etc.. AT A LITTLE Pizza JOINT!! just around the corner from the Train station. WE LOVED IT. Unpretentious, simple traditional Sicilian food.

It marked by an innovative concept: sicilian restaurant, pizzeria napoletana, pub, brewery and cocktail bar all in one location, located in a chair of how the historical center of messina. The local is elegant and refined where the palate is delighted by
Had some tapas that were good. Local beer was excellent and refreshing in the heat. Kids had lemon gelato they loved. Advertise wifi but doesn't work. Pizza looked good but didn't try it. Lots of people around us had it. Nice thin crust with fresh toppings

This is a good place for platters. The dish that they served was very good as you can see from the picture. Mine was the vegetarian option for 12 euros and there is vegan, too. Large range of veggies and very satisfying. If I was the chef I would get rid of the egg or sandwich and add some sauces to take this to the next level. Still, good food and friendly service!

We ordered a pint of Harp & a glass of wine , after a long day wandering around Messina . The pub itself was typically Irish and the staff were really friendly . However itâs the cost of the drinks that let the score down . ⬠12, I found a bit steep for two drinks.

Craving a burger after 2 weeks of grand italian food. This place did not let me down. Although my local gym will see more of me when I get back.home cooked juicy at least 1/2 pound burgers, with the works. Also had some good jalapeño poppers, a couple tall cold beers each and an order of fries for 30 euro.
