2nd visit to this lovely old pub and even better than first visit. The steak and ale pie is an absolute must ! The pastry is so delicate and delicious. The desserts are worthy of a place in the top restaurants. Great staff, great vibe and friendly atmosphere

The Coach and Horses Inn is an 18th century coaching inn located at Kenneggy Downs on the A394 between Helston and Penzance. We are just a few minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Praa Sands and Perranuthnoe . We have a pub welcoming both holiday ma
Food was very poor whilst we where having our food you could see 4 rats coming from around the kitchen area disgusting the owner just shrugged her shoulders she even saw the rats and did not care less I would not eat here as there obviously is a hygiene problem .You are an absolute disgrace and you should be barred from leaving untruthful and damaging reviews. You were sat in a table that had no view of the kitchen, you were on the opposite side of the building to the kitchen . The owner didnât shrug his shoulders he was out and the waitress made him aware of your comments later on when he returned. She said she told you you were sat next to a farmers field. You ate everything on your plate didnât comment on the quality of the food you paid and left without comment. We have a contract, as do all restaurants, with a company called baroque pest control anyone is free to ask too view their documentation It clearly states we have no vermin in any part of our buildings or outbuildings but we canât control grassland.Everyone in the restaurant said the food was excellent. strange this is your first review. ....... we are proud to be popular in this area and grateful for the support of local people an orchestrated campaign of lies is not something weâre afraid of.Your comments are unfounded and untrue

Traditional Cornish village pub with home cooked food, offered six/seven nights a week, all year round, using fresh and locally sourced produce offering great value for money. Children, families and dogs are always welcome at anytime in either the public
Use this pub frequently recently since our regular had been taken over with new management. This is a typical local pub with good "pub grub". Don't expect glitz and glamor, but always friendly with good food.. Can get busy during holiday season so ring up in advance to be sure of having a table. Tried their rib eye steak and presently surprised that it was cooked perfect M/R, tender and juicy with plenty of flavour. Only slight disappointment recently is that the menu has changed and got a little smaller.

Desperately looking for someplace to eat having had long day on beach at Long Rock. Had to pass through Goldsithney on way to cottage and they had two pubs opposite one another. The Crown looked popular with lots of people sitting outside enjoying the warm weather. We were cutting it fine as they stop doing food at 8.30 but the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we placed our orders. The menu is mainly traditional pub fare but it was cooked and presented in a most appetising way and we also had puddings. We did not know at the time that dogs were welcomed and vowed to go back but alas we ran out of days. Our experience ended a perfect day on holiday. Staff were brilliant.

We recently visited with friends and it was simply superb. All of our meal choices were great - crab linguine absolutely scrummy, complimented by a great selection of local beers. We were made to feel welcome instantly ! Highly recommend.

The Fire Engine has gone through a tenancy change from February 2017. We will be serving traditional homemade pub food at very reasonable prices. We now have two bars- one upstairs for mainly eating, quizzes and for when we have live music. We also have t
We were staying in Marazion in September and visited twice, once for an afternoon drink in their wonderful beer garden which overlooks St Michael's Mount, and once for an evening meal with friends. The food was basic, but very tasty and good value for money. You do need to book as they are very popular and do not serve food every night of the week. The atmosphere in the pub was great. There is a small car park but it gets filled up quickly. Alternatively you can park in the community hall car park (across the road, up the hill on the right - 5 minute walk). The only small criticism I would have is that if you want to sit in the beer garden when it gets dark, the lights don't seem to work too well and it can be a bit hairy walking down the steps in to the garden. Other than that, great pub!
