Very relaxing Bar and Grill right on the shore of Lake Erie. Great Lake Erie Perch, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and sandwiches. Live music every weekend. Best place to perch for beautiful sunsets on the beach. We search local wines and have a full bar
What a great spot! Glad we got there early. The place was packed. Great service even though they were busy. Good music. Simple menu but good. You can not beat the view. I can't believe this is practically in my back yard and didn't know it! I don't understand the poor reviews. Must be a disgruntled employee. The place is great!Yep, we've had a few disgruntled employees we had to let go: they didn't understand the vibe we try to create...laid back, relaxing, and friendly. If a person is in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend our place. People need to stay and soak up the ambiance and enjoy the company.

We went here for their Friday fish fry with friends. We were tired of our usual haunts and decided to give Deer Leap a try. Fish was very good. Not to much batter and not greasy. Salads were tasty and fresh. However the waiter was really lacking in any customer service skills. He was slow acknowledging we had been seated. Never even offered a wine suggestion to accompany our meal. Really? Itâs a winery. Youâd think they would push the staff to mention the wine options! It was an AYCE fish dinner but our waiter never came back to check on us and offer refills. We did want a second helping but we had to flag him down which wasnât easy as he paid very little attention to the dining area and instead was focused on talking to other wait staff. Itâs a shame because I would give this place 5 stars if the service would have been better. We have heard you and have been working hard to improve service. Thank You for your input Bob & Jean Bostwick
It is a pub so not expecting much in the way of choices. Not surprised to find limited menu. After deciding not real hungryâselected soup & half sandwich. Reasonably priced (better at another of our favorites) but thought we would try this place. On ordering a BLT and soup of the day, we asked server for side of mayo. Foolishly, we each asked for the same. The soup was very salty and not exactly sure what all may have been in it but thought cheeseburger soup sounded ok. Disappointment! Upon receiving our bill noticed we had been charged $1.20 for the mayo. Yes $.60 each. Iâll have to say that was a first. Never been charged for mayo. We could have had ketsup or mustard as they were on table but mayo is extra. We werenât told that of course but felt mayo is needed for a BLT. This was our first and last trip to Village Inn. So if you are someone that likes mayo on your burgers or sandwiches. Bring your own!!

I have been here for Dinner and Lunch, both are good, but dinner gets crowded and that's a good thing. I like going at lunch, its not crowded and the food comes out quick. The open face steak sandwich is awesome! While you wait play some Keno,

One of our regular "haunts" when camping nearby. Love their fish and according to our friends, their steak with a crabmeat topping is delicious. Specials available every day and we've always found one of those choices to be delicious. We haven't attended any of the entertainment events, but have heard from others they are worth the price. Staff is usually attentive, but they rarely have more than 1 waitress so if it's crowded please have patience because she's very good just very busy. Only thing we wish was that they had kept their fried baloney sandwich available. We love that for s quick bite with a beer.
If you want some of the BEST wings around look no further! This quaint bar has been around for years and ready to take your order.
Itâs really just a small local bar, but aside from the beer, let me say the food was great. Really loved the fries here and the burger was excellent! Cooked perfect. Not overdone and just juicy enough to give a great flavor. Service was fast and it was s nice very clean establishment. Also, the music wasnât blasting so we could actually hear each other when we talked. The only downside was the chairs. They were all tall and short so I ended up standing after awhile because it was a little uncomfortable with my feet dangling. I really canât sit on those types of chairs very long. If not for that this would rate a 5. Definitely will be going back.

I was invited to the Wagon Wheel by a friend. It was a fundraising dinner for her granddaughter's team. You've got to love local businesses that support the kids. Attendees were all served the same meal, spaghetti and salad. Boy was that meat sauce delicious! I don't usually eat spaghetti out because my own sauce is so good but this sauce rivaled mine. I checked and it was made by the restaurant. The icing on the cake was the price of my Blue Moon. You would think, in some places, that Blue was some exotic craft beer. It is not. It just happens to be my favorite. At the Wagon Wheel, it was fairly priced. I will be back.

Great view of Lake Erie and even better Wings. They also have a small salad bar, good menu selection and a friendly staff.

Drove into town and the hotel recommended. We walked in and were sat immediately. The entire waitstaff stopped by throughout the evening to ensure we had water, our food was good, and if we needed anything at all. We split the buffalo chicken dip and Chicken Diablo. We also got a Seven Beer. All was amazing! Definitely would eat there again when passing through!
