Paid a visit early July n a night they had a steak deal where you can get a free bottle of wine, so why not we thought. When we requested steak to be cooked medium the bar lady looked at me a little bemused and said the chef cooks it and that's it. Anyway the steak was over cooked which made it dry, the rest of the meal was very good. Then it came to the wine, the choice was red or white so I asked what type of red wine it was only to be shown a bottle from under the counter that had no description. The red wine provided was just not drinkable so we left 3/4 bottle behind.Solution: why not offer an alternative even if an extra contribution needs to be madeso say for an extra £5.00 you can have a bottle of wine that is pleasant to drink. The place is very friendly and had a pleasant atmosphere.
The Sunday lunch is renowned, but if you're there at noon, the first cut is superb. Everything a club should be,spick and span, warm, comfy, well laid out, good beer,a place that makes Sutton a destination. .The staff are friendly, welcoming, efficient, prices ( membership, drinks, food) all very reasonable .If you need real Hospitality in Sutton, this is your place.Proof that the club model still works- go and enjoy, non members made welcome. Only just over the sea wall, there is a good walk or ride to Mablethorpe or Huttoft . Go, and enjoy!

I wonât write a long review. My wife and I stayed on the park for 3 nights. We donât use caravans much these days, and never cook in them. The site is clean, quiet and pleasant. We visited then clubhouse on our last night. My wife ordered a pizza, and I ordered spaghetti bolognese, expecting reheated or microwaved food. When our meals arrived, we both quickly realised that the food was freshly cooked. Both meals were generously portioned, and delicious. Just like proper home made. My wifeâs pizza was far superior to the one that both of us had at a local Italian restaurant that we tried on the first night. Far superior! The spaghetti bolognese was so plentiful, that I couldnât eat it all, even with my healthy appetite. I felt very guilty handing back uneaten food to the bar lady, but this was no reflection upon the food. This clubhouse and bar may look like a modest cabin, but the food and people working there are wonderful!A gem deserving of itâs great reputation!

Interior seems very old and run down, dirty in various places. Smelt w bit, but not sure of what. Maybe just damp. Desperate need for refurbishment. Outside the front were seats but lots of rubbish and weeds. And mostly rotton wood. Average prices but I'd prefer to pay a little more for nicer surroundings. Free pool on Mondays and there's a quiz on Thursdays.

A lovely find. We arrive, Grandmother, daughter and grandchild for lunch, weâre pleasantly surprised with the decor and cleanliness (especially the ladies loos). It has a contemporary vibe and not that of just another seaside cafe/restaurant. We asked to eat `upstairs` as the grandchild has mild autism and it was quieter upstair. Luckily they had no problem with this when we explained to the waitress. Menu was nice for the type of establishment and not just the normal chips and burgers/fish.Food was tasty, well cooked and value for money. Our only criticism was the service, staff were plentiful, helpful and polite but after 50 minutes we still had not received our food. This can be an issue with a special needs child. When approached the food appeared within 10 minutes. Surprised at the slowness of service and we were not warned of any possible delay. As mentioned there did seen to be plenty of waiting staff milling around chatting on front house but not aware of the kitchen is equally well staffed.Overall it was a pleasant meal, with nice staff and would give it a second chance should I find myself in the area again.

After coming to Mablethorpe and having terrible weather the whole time we found this restaurant and what a lovely place it is. We were greeted like old friends even though we had never been before. We had a three course meal which was cooked fresh and was homemade and was lovely. The service was very friendly and we couldnât find any fault with any of it. Massive well done to the staff, made our day after such dismal weather.

Went here for breakfast with friends. The breakfast consists of bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, potato rosti, sausage and toast or fried bread, tea or coffee all for £3.39 - bargain. It is very nicely presented. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It is well worth a visit.

More than a restaurant - the Dunes in season is an entertainment centre with a great sea view - bar, food and entertainment all under one roof with a sea view second to none - your 'local on the seafront'
We have eaten here before but we were very disappointed with our food. The chicken burger was poor quality. The bun stale.no attention to detail. Same can be said about the cheese burger. Wont be eating there again.I'm sorry to hear that was your experience - Can I ask did you raise your concerns at the time as it would have been mush appreciated if you had - unfortunately we can't rectify something after the event - if you do return please let me know as your experience is not something we would accept.
