Things to do in Lexington
Located at a driving range but near to downtown, this is similar to an upscale 19th hole with bar and light fare, but the light fare is top notch. First time I was there, late evening, our waitress apologized that they were sold out of Smoked Chicken Salad, next time I was there I found out why she apologized - it was a large mound of delicious totally covering the roll. We have also had the BLT, Philly and burger, all great choices. There is not a ton of inside seating but a deck is also available. We had no trouble finding seating on either visit and staff was extremely cordial. Both times food came in a very reasonable time frame. I'm going back.

Have you been looking for the perfect spot for burgers and wings in Lexington, SC? You've come to the perfect place! Wings & Ale of Lexington is the go-to wings spot for the entire family. What better way to enjoy the football game or shoot some pool than
This is a nice little sports bar. The wings were good. Mild had a good kick to it. They have thin sauce, not the thick sticky kind, but wings were coated nicely. The fries were nice and crunchy (but they have steak fries too for those who like soft fries). It is a little bit dark in the room, but overall it was good.

The Kingsman was very busy during our Sunday meal, with lots of families and couples having a good time. I expected that. What I didnât expect was poor quality food and inattentive service. My brisket sandwich was so drenched in sauce that the taste of the beef barely came though. I couldnât hold the sandwich either, because the bottom of the bun nearly dissolved. I ended up peeling away what was left of the bun and eating the sandwich meat with a fork. When our meal was completed, the waitstaff made no attempt to clear the table at our booth, so we had five people chatting for half an hour at a table cluttered with dining debris. And barbecue dining really leaves a mess! They also ran out of nachos and there were some other issues. I realize that even a good restaurant can have a bad day, but what we experienced was indicative of sloppy management and a need to recommit to quality control. We left extremely disappointed, and itâs unlikely that weâll be back.
Lexington Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Lexington
Found a great new place in Lexington , only open since last July ! My wife the pickiest eater in the Universe says the Burgers are better than Red Robin ! I liked the bratwurst with sauerkraut and spicy mustard .Beer battered potatoes are very good. The selection of beers are great ! I sampled some and traded stories with one of the regulars. I had a red beer and sampled a blond chocolatey flavored beer and a stout that had chocolate notes. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The place is bright and has live music on Friday nights. It is a great place for a quick dinner or to hang out with a friend or two.

This is the hardest review for me to write. I am not one of those contributors who enjoy writing scathing reviews. I know how hard people in the industry work and I try to find the positive in the places we visit. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had and it leads me to many questions about the food and whether we should be eating there. This was our first visit. The menu was hard to read. For example, it would list a "Small" order but not list the number of wings so we had to ask the server to give us the number of wings in each option. They had some unique flavors and all of us did like the flavors we chose. One of my children got the kids macaroni. It was horrible. It was a white sauce with large noodles. Neither one of us liked it. My husband and I got wings. They were hot and fresh. I also got potato wedges. They were overcooked and dry. It looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long but the flavor wasn't bad. My other child got 10 wings. He was supposed to get 5 each of 2 different flavors. They brought him all of one kind. They serve them in paper containers. My child and I politely explained to the server the mistake. She admitted it was her fault but said she didn't hear him. It is a sports type place and was loud. It was an honest mistake. My child then asked if he could get his 5 teriyaki wings. She said she would see what she could do. The next thing we know, the Shift Leader comes to our table. We explain. He said he would replace the wings but would TAKE BACK 5 from the container they served my son's wings in. We felt like the Shift Leader thought we were trying to get one over on him. Considering both my husband and myself are college educated with upper management experience in our respective fields, we were extremely offended. Within minutes, the server brings us the 5 wings he ordered along with an EMPTY container to send back 5 wings from his plate. OMG!!!!!!!!! My husband and I were floored. My husband spent many years in the food service industry and has seen people try to resell food that was taken back so we were both very concerned. Needless to say, we asked to see the Manager on duty. The Manager agreed it was handled wrong and he really tried to make it right and we appreciate the efforts. However, we also noticed our wing size was inconsistent. Some of the wings were medium in size and some were jumbo. This can lead to inconsistent temperatures and the dreaded "red bone". Based on the above, we have decided not to return anytime soon.

Resurrection by same owner of former One Taco Two Tacos which had closed
Twice we went out of our way to try this new place. 1st time internet down & couldn't take our orders, gave us a couple free drinks with apology. Things happen so we went back. Tiny place, very long bar. Food choice is very limited, if you don't like taco's don't go. If your menu is all about Mexican & specialty tacos make sure they are amazing. They weren't. I was so disappointed. I really wanted to love this place. No reason for us to go back, food was very average and I went home still a little hungry. Seemed to have a large beer selection so maybe go there for drinks and the food won't matter.

We ordered potato chips with dip with our flights. We got two small condiment cups with lots of chips. We had previously ordered this appetizer and got plenty of dip/bowel full. The waitress said we could ask for more, so we did. Then we got an uncomfortable lecture from management. We would not have ordered an appetizer again, that came with that little bit of dip. She agreed to give us two more little condiment cups, but the argument left us feeling frustrated. We Will never order it again and did not feel our patronage was appreciated.

Stopped in here with daughter and her husband, two nights ago. Had their Smoked wings and fries. Very good taste and many sauces to choose from. Good beer choices also. It was Comedy night in the main bar. They also have outside seating available . Very friendly staff.

O'hara's has a friendly vibe, plenty of personality, a decent beer list and attentive service. It also serves a nice selection of entrees, including very good pot roast ($10), but the corned beef & cabbage ($12) we got here was a major disappointment. We've ordered corned beef and cabbage at pubs and restaurants in many parts of the U.S. and in Ireland. The best we've ever had was a memorable meal at Katie O'Donald's in Bluffton, South Carolina (yes, South Carolina). The corned beef and cabbage we got at O'Hara's wasn't in the same league. The entree consisted of two small, fat laden slices of corned beef accompanied by under cooked, chewy cabbage and some pretty good tasting carrots and potatoes. If you like bread pudding you'll probably like the version they serve here, but you'll likely find the serving too small to share. All of this said, O'Hara's delivers plenty of ambiance and deserves a rating of Very Good.

Stopped by the other night to have a few beers and tried the cheese board. It was simple but excellent. Their house made bread was superb as well and an excellent accompaniment to the cheese. Several outstanding beer choices on tap and the service was very good.
