We don't stop in often, because there is usually a 15 minute wait to get seated, at least at the times we went. But the last couple of times we have been lucky enough to get right in. When we went a few years ago, we felt very rushed, so we stopped going, but that had changed. We think their selection on the menu is a good variety, and they have good choices for our 3 y/o twin grandchildren. It help their behavior to have those tablet gadgets with games to keep them happy, too. Service was friendly and non-intrusive - just right. We were even told there was no rush when we were done and chatting amongst ourselves.
I was pleasantly surprised by our meal. I really had no idea what to expect but this exceeded expectations. Huge portions of well prepared BBQ and free live music! We will be back.

My husband and I stopped for dinner during a blizzard. And the food was wonderful. Most places were closing and they werr open because of a pool tournament. The pool area is awesome, the staff is attentive, the service is great. The cook makes fresh broccoli delicious. I had the mini burgers, my husband had this Schemengee burger, they were great and cooked to order. The fries were nice and crispy. I will go back again.

I have stayed at this HGI several times while on business. I have had both breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, I like the option of choosing a cold buffet or a hot one (comes with made-to-order eggs dishes). For dinner, I usually just get the Harvest Chicken Salad. Their prices are no higher than other local restaurants.Service is always friendly.

Small, casual place with a local atmosphere. They feature bands on the weekend; it's really small and loud with a band. Food was decent. Onion rings and fries were greasy, chicken Cobb salad was good. "Arsonist" burger was really good and juicy and loaded with Bacon. Service was friendly and quick.

We have visited Buddy's several times. It can be busy but we have never had to endure long waits. Staff here hustles! Good food, especially roast beef on Fri and Sat nights. Good specials. Good drinks. Pool tables often in use but not disruptive. Bar is small but popular. Nice friendly eatery

We have been going to Gippers for years. We live local so you can trust my review when I say you will not be disappointed with your dining experience. Gippers is a sports pub so it's not quiet, lol. They have multiple televisions playing different sports. They also have an interactive game you can play while sitting at your table (trivia game). Some of the staff have been there for years and they are all very friendly and courteous. The food is amazing; so delicious (mouth watering) and you will not be amazed with the portion sizes. Gippers is a favorite among the locals and I would highly recommend you give it a try. Once you do, I'm sure you will want to come back. Five stars+

Gritty McDuff's, Maine's Original Brew Pub specializes in hand-crafted English style ales and traditional and creative pub fare, in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Both Gritty's fine ales and the pubs have won countless "best of" awards through our twenty-
Beers from the brewery were very tasty (particularly on a hot day). Good selection of basic house brewed beers (ale, lager, brown, bitter). Great outdoor seating in back with a view of the river and riverwalk. Food was a step up from basic brew pub fare, and quite tasty.
