Have made a few visits to The Barge recently for lunch after not having been for awhile and always had great good in the past. On one visit had the Cheese Burger, which unfortunately I felt was rather bland lacking seasoning and was not as cooked as i would of liked, however the chips where delicious so the meal was overall a success.I returned once again today in order to see if it was simply a bad day previously as I had never been disappointed in the past. And it certainly didn't disappoint this time, I choose to go with the chicken burger for a change which was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, and as mentioned before the chips where to die for.In addition to the great food they have a great selection of drinks some more obscure than you might find in a traditional pub, but some fantastic little finds that got me quite excited. I have no doubt that I will be making another return soon, as the food is a great standard and always well presented.

Aimlessly driving looking for somewhere for lunch we happened upon The Camerton. Really glad we did. A lovely meal and they went above and beyond to sort us out with a Gluten Free Option for the Mrs. I had the Barbeque pork. Very Very Tasty. We visit nearby Withernsea often so we'll be back!Hi Jace_gt.Thank you for leaving us a brilliant review. I am very pleased that you stumbled upon us and enjoyed your visit. All of our staff try very hard to ensure that customer service is always great. Our food is all locally sourced and home cooked. I look forward to seeing you again.*The Camerton Team - Hull Daily Mail: Food Pub Of The Year 2019 - Winner*

We used the pub for an evening meal whilst staying in the area. Having previously phoned to enquire whether they could cater for a Coeliac. It was Burger night which I admit didn't fill us with confidence. We reiterated our needs and ordered, the chef came out and discussed what she was doing and how she was going to ensure no cross contamination. When the meal came it was lovely, well cooked and presented. The staff were amazing and so friendly.

Recently refurbished , it seems to me to lack character and ambience . We sat in the bar full of tv's that no one was watching and then left

It was our first time after being recommended by a friend. He said the portions were large and he was right... not one of us finished the meal. The menu was excellent and there were specials as well which made choosing hard. Our food and the food I could see being delivered was all excellent , great pub food. The service was very pleasant and the atmosphere good. The history of the place with 166 bomber squadron was well displayed, a good car park and well worth a visit.

We are a friendly and welcoming pub in the village of Stallingborough serving food from 12 noon until 9pm (Monday to Saturday) and 12 noon until 8pm on Sundays. We have a fantastic beer garden to the rear of the pub with a lovely children's play area. Fam
Once we had finished our meals we decided to order deserts. A waitress brought out the deserts then didn't even clear away our mains so we was sat with plates all over. I donât know why someone wouldnât clear away plates!! We found the rest of the staff very helpful!Hi thereIm sorry to hear that your plates were not cleared away, its difficult to know which member of the team left you with your plates without knowing when you visited us. Your plates should certainly have been cleared away, i apologise for this. I will speak to the waiting team here and remind them of this. Thank you for your feedback and we hope to soon you again soon.

The Pig & Whistle Pub offers a relaxed atmosphere in the grounds of Healing Manor hotel. The pub serves food daily from 11.00 - 21.30 and has a variety of cask ales on draft. Order your food and drink from the bar and we will look after the rest.
My husband and I came for an anniversary lunch and were most impressed with quality, service and ambiance of the whole experience. We canât recommend highly enough. Thanks you, Michelle for ur great service!JD

Ignore the outside appearance of the building and take a step inside - you won't be disappointed.Elegant and tasteful decoration create a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy any social gathering, big or small. Went with family for an 80th Birthday lunch, welcomed by friendly polite staff, food was excellent and the portions a good size. All the food is homemade and the pie was excellent, make sure you have a good appetite especially if ordering the Desperate Dan pie, made fresh it's a steak and stilton pie in a thin short crust pastry, if bought packaged would read "feeds up to 4 adults" ordered with chunky chips and veg all I can say is wow, managed it but boy was I full. Good choice of other dishes and specials, something for everyone reasonably priced too, we had a great meal enjoyed by all.
