Discover Restaurants offering the best Pub food in Holland, Michigan, United States. Founded by Dutch Calvinists in 1847, the city of Holland, Michigan, is an outpost of Dutch culture and tradition in the midst of the American Midwest, home to dikes, canals and even an authentic Dutch windmill. Proud of its heritage, the city purchased 100,000 tulip bulbs from the Netherlands back in 1927, and these colorful flowers still fill the city's gardens and parks with color annually, just in time for the famous Tulip Time Festival, attended by over half a million people every year.

Good thin crust Pizza. I like it, my Hubby does not. So I recently meet my GF here for a lunch date ( as she loves their pizza! ), And left hubby home. I enjoyed my pizza and it heats up well as leftovers, but pricy for a med pie and one glass of red wine! Especially for typical bar food. Guess I'm just cheap! Our server was named Lynn. Very friendly ( maybe an owner?? ). Packed on the weekends with the usual customer's and loud. It's a Holland institution.

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
Very nice meal here, first time, great service from Claudia. Comfy bar booth, great margaritas, excellent chips, salsa was too spicy! 2 entrees, mesquite grilled steak with rice and beans was excellent, and perfectly seasoned. Second entree, rice bowl with black beans, greens and grilled shrimp, also very good. Dessert churros with ice cream was good. We will return!

Escape the boundaries of traditional bar food with global influences in a casual, historic dining room. Curated draft beer, wine and liquor offerings. We opened Waverly Stone Gastropub in 2018 to bring fresh, creative food and warm, friendly service to Ho
What a pleasant surprise! Four friends celebrating a birthday. We thought about walking out, but didn't. We were glad we made that decision. The food was fabulous, all 4 of our meals. Service was great. Manager came to table to visit and wanted our feedback & was so pleasant. Would definitely go back. I had the burger & best one I've ever had in a restaurant.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm so happy to hear you had a great time, and you enjoyed the food! Hope to see you back again soon!

Wanted to grab a bite to eat, we had just returned from our grandsons baseball tournament, very convenient since it is right next to our hotel. Restaurant is a sports bar so the noise level is loud. They sat us in an area with just tables away from the noise. As we looked at the menu a person came up to us and said we had to re-locate, they were going to close this area. We got up and left, they lost out on two dinners! At this point we wanted quieter just getting back from the game and all. I feel they should never have seated us in that area in the first place. Big E's lost out in my book!

We stopped in here waiting for a dinner reservation close by. We were so impressed. The bartender that waited on us was Mary and she was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The beer was amazing! The selection was good and we tried 2 of them. We both got the IPA Careless Whisper that was so good. I almost got the stout which was Study Buddy. That was the coffee stout which seemed to have caramel infused in it. Just thought that one should wait until after dinner. We were so impressed. We will return!!!

Itty Bitty Bar is your local 5-star dive bar. We are a great place to meet up with friends or to make some new ones!
Like others have said, don't let the name fool you! It's actually quite large - with awesome open air seating on one side. Live music, great food, and "Animal" was an amazing server who helped us rush to get out to enjoy lakeside sunset, even though staying all night would have been a blast too (and we did another night.) The vibe is fun, and the whole "Five Star Dive Bar" slogan feels right although it really isn't a "dive" at all, they just want it to feel that way (relaxed and friendly.) Pizza and salad amazing - will be back to try plenty more.

This is a 3.5 star review. Adorable brewery with a cool vibe and a storefront for beer and spirits purchases, with a fun Bloody Mary bar on Saturday which we indulged in! Our server MJ was hilarious, upbeat & friendly, very honest with his recommendations on the menu... the spicy fried chicken sandwich was pretty good as was the fish sandwich. The Bahn Michigan fell a but short as the pork belly was way too fatty and no rendering of any of the fat, not crispy at all, so too heavy and overly rich. Also could use more flavor.A haven for beer enthusiasts which we were not, but still enjoyed.

A varied, inventive menu with many seasonal specials. Craft beer bar with 60+ taps. Full bar featuring barrel-aged and craft cocktails. Beautiful taproom.
We arrived around 5:30 on a Sunday for dinner. Hostess told us the wait would be 40 minutes and took our cell number. We waited over an hour and then were told that we still couldn't be seated because the kitchen was backed up even though there were multiple open tables. We have a special needs child and asked if we could just sit down and get him drinks while we waited. We were told no. This is not an acceptable way to treat customers. If there were a problem in the kitchen we could have been told earlier so that we could go elsewhere to get food for our kids. We visit Holland often because our son is at Hope College but will not visit Hops again after we were treated so poorly.PMFANDME,I apologize, on behalf of the restaurant, for the service that you received on the Sunday that you visited us. The host staff and the manager on duty have been briefed on the proper way to handle this situation if it happens in the future.I'd like to talk more in depth about your experience. Please email me at: [email protected] a nice day,
