I really wish I could give them a better review but I canât. I have gone twice and the food just couldnât cut it. My last visit I order a burger medium well not a hard item to cook. Well they screwed it up again, the burger started out medium to medium rare then I got to the center and it was rare !!!So either one of two things the cook has no clue on how to make a burger or use a thermometer or it was frozen when it was put on the grill. The beer was ok nothing spectacular, with the amount of micro breweries an breweries you should be on your A game and your not even in the major leagues !!Sorry I wonât be trying your establishment again

We went to Applebees after having not been there for awhile. The food was okay. Nothing impressive or outstanding. The service was okay. I loved the atmosphere. All over the walls are pictures of local schools and students. It was cool to see all the local photos and try to see if we could recognize anyone.

A year after Prohibition ended, the Derby opened its doors. If you're looking for friendly old-word charm and excellent American cuisine, grab a table.
The Derby has an old school ambiance with lots of wood interior and a history dating back to the 1930s. I was pulled in many different directions by the inventive menu. Along with pub food standards I was deciding between Brussels sprouts in pomegranite reduction app, salmon wasabi burger, herbed fries and a jalapeno cheese soup. i had to pass all these up at the server's suggestion to indulge in the baked brie which came with baguette toasts and warm fruited apple slices. Gooey and delicious!
Yes, Salâs isnât fancy. Yes, itâs a local dive-y bar. Yes, the decor is basic blue collar. But take a look at lunchâthe place is packed most days. Why? Because Sal serves the best hamburger in the area. Hands down. PS: Most of his specials are great too.

We had lunch at around 3 pm on a tues, and felt right at home. Usually things are very slow and you feel a little out of place but our waitress came right over, we sat outside, and she took our order and even helped me choose a wine. She gave me two samples to choose from and I picked the Moscato that was very good. We had an appetizer, not sure of the name but it was stuffed mozzerella and so good. I had a burger and my husband had a portabella wrap both with fries and it was all so good. We both raved about our lunch our whole vacation. fresh food and well made. I would highly recommend this restuarant.

Iâve learned not to expect much in the way of food at pubs and breweries, but Blue Collar Brewery was a nice surprise. Good beer and good burgersâI canât ask for more. Service was reasonably good even though our server was alone and taking care of at least six tables and wearing the hostess hat. They offer parking which is a nice perk.

Stopped in for a bite and a cocktail. We sat at the bar. Doyle waited on us promptly, answered our questions and was helpful. We decided on the boneless wings and Friday calamari. Both were excellent and good sized servings. They have a good wine list and full bar. I had a martini and explained how I preferred it. It was perfect. Great dining upstairs or in the lounge. Thank you for the review and we hpoe to see you back soon. Maybe you could check out the comedy club evry Saturday at 8PM or watch Sunday football on one of our 26 flat screens. Mahoney's

This place just consistently puts out great food. It's more than just decent pub fare, it's taken basic food, and definitely kicked it up a few notches. It's just good. Always.

We were in town to see a show and stopped in for a couple of drinks and a snack at the bar. Their tap list is fantastic most of them from NY. The Bavarian pretzels were very good and was a perfect fit for a couple of beers. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely return when in Poughkeepsie.

Mill House Brewing Company opened in the Fall of 2013. For us, it is the culmination of years of professional culinary/hospitality experience, expressive design and construction, and craft beer artistry. Located in the rehabilitated Mill House, Mill House
When I see a brew pub, I typically assume that the food will be passable pub fare. Burgers, fries, a token salad or two. This place shattered my expectations! The menu was ecclectic, yet balanced. Truffle arancini. Charcuterie. Burgers and salads that sounded creative and appetizing. Unlike many restaurants that try to be original, but instead cram too much into a dish, the creativity here was perfect. If you want a chicken sandwich, you don't have to say "hold the avocado, radishes, and kiwi/porcinini mushroom aeoli please." Instead, everything sounded harmonious, yet, fresh and original. The pork schnitzel deserves its own paragraph. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Amazing mustard-crea-au jus sauce, but not smothered in it. Mustard spaetzel that has ruined me for all other spaetzel. And red cabbage that was so delicious it could have been a dish all its own!I live about an hour and 20 min from this place, and I'm already thinking of when I can return!Oh, and the beer was excellent, too!
