A good traditional pub with excellent customer service. Well kept beers at very reasonable prices and lovely food from the kitchen. The staff are friendly and attentive and there is always some entertainment provided to enjoy as well, and the views across the bay are deffinately hard to beat.

I have eaten here many times, both lunch and dinner, and left a review before (on their other trip advisor page, The Morecambe Hotel). I have never had a bad meal, or experience and yesterday my lunch visit with my friend was no exception. We both had sandwiches, my friends being the salmon and prawn and mine being ham. Beautiful fresh bread, lovely presented lunch and very thick ham. Delicious. Impeccable service from Verity, nothing too much trouble (particularly a swift table move from the Garden Room, which we love, but unfortunately the other tables were taken by a large family celebration, which we didnât wish to share!) A big shout out for Verity for her service throughout our meal. A credit to the restaurant,.I have also read a couple of negative reviews left about the restaurant on the other page I have mentioned,. Donât let them put you off, I seriously (and can I just say at this stage I am in no way affiliated with this establishment!) have never had a bad experience here, always had fabulous food and service. In fact, the review left from a lady who booked her birthday meal on the Music Festival night was very naive and short sighted. The festival is hugely popular, the place was ram packed as were all of Morecambe establishments hosting the festival and to expect prompt service from staff run ragged, was somewhat naive,in my opinion. I wasnât there myself but I have been before last year, and have seen photos on social media, hence I can say with confidence, it was packed! So, donât let the negatives out you off, take it from me. Itâs great food and great friendly service.

The Duke of Rothesay is a bright and comfortable pub close to the Port of Heysham and has an excellent reputation for serving good homecooked food. It is popular with locals and visitors alike. With two pool tables and a range of cask beers it is perfect
Interesting from the start with the need to register your car number when parking to avoid a fine. No card payment accepted. Cash only.Food was good hearty pub food with generous portions served by pleasant staff. An ideal last stop before the ferry to the Isle of Man as it is walking distance from the port.

Restaurant and bar serving excellent British cuisine, 8 real ales and a selection of fine wines. Set in 300 year old wine merchants cellars 1 minutes walk from Lancaster Castle and 5 minutes from the train station, with a peaceful beer garden to the front
Merchants 1688 is one of the best options in Lancaster, which otherwise is short on real ale pubs. It's a lovely venue, with several designated sections and a nice, comfy [slightly "cavernous", see pictures] atmosphere. The real ale selection is certainly more than adequate, staff are generally nice and helpful. Recommended for Lancaster!

I would 100% reccomend a visit to The Dalton Arms, you'll be guaranteed to want to go back!A family run pub, who are very friendly and welcoming as soon as you step foot inside to the moment you leave and are always willing to go that extra mile to gaurente you're happy, a true credit to themselves! My favourite is the chefs carbonara and their curry too, as well as their amazing sunday dinner, THE GRAVY .. amongst many other things they have to offer them two are undoubtedly the best in my opinion. The chips.. well they speak for themselves. All local sourced fresh produce If you haven't already, check it out in amongst its picturesque village, you can take my word for it, or you can experience it for yourself! Indy is waiting to meet you

Are you looking for somewhere special to eat in Lancaster? Then you simply have to try the Wagon & Horses, for the last couple of years we have secretly been employing one of the best chefs in the area and creating a menu that will rival (and sometimes su
An okay pub in Lancaster, owned by Robinsons brewery - the makers of Old Tom. Located next to the Maritime Museum, the venue itself is nice enough, spacious and well laid-out. That said, the real ale selection isn't particularly thrilling, and mostly conventional. They do have a smoking/vaping area, covered, to the back - which is nice. Just fine.

My husband and I just are here tonight after seeing the food last week. We are glad we did. The pate was delicious absolutely delicious. The pub itself is lovely so old and full of charm weâve been in many times over the years and always marvelled at its age etc but never eaten here. Glad we did will definitely return again a brilliant meal and friendly service.

Close to the Historic City of Lancaster and the breathtaking views of Morecambe Bay lies the quaint village of Heysham. Deep in the oldest part of the village, nestling beside the Church of St Patrick, the Royal Hotel is a wonderful, traditional pub boast
The Royal has been refurbished in recent years to provide comfortable dining for many people, both inside and outside. The menu is interesting and portions are generous. All our choices were delicious. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The Royal is a really good option for all day quality dining.
