Stayed at the Amway Grand Plaza for a convention and we found this place on the list of ânearby restaurants.â Although we could have walked, we took the rental car due to all the construction in downtown Grand Rapids - parking is on the street so itâs hit or miss finding a spot.We were immediately seated upon our arrival. The restaurant is in an older building that has been lovingly restored - long and narrow and deep with a bar running down one side, so not a huge amount of seating. Nice variety of foods - started off with the chicken wing appetizers at our waitressâs suggestion - delicious!!We all ordered different items from the menu - I got the Classic Burger topped with Gouda cheese. Wow!! Spectacular!! Probably the best - and thickest - burger Iâve ever had. Fries came with it and they were equally great. Our waitress couldnât have been nicer - recommended several items and was quick with our orders as well as refilling our drinks. All in all, a great experience!! Highly recommend!!!

Hipster place, good food, service was very good, clean, hip hop music playing, serving liquor on Sunday morning, which I find progressive in the bible belt city. Overall, very nice!

Our menu reflects classic English dishes that have been influenced by the days of the British colonies in India; where colonists learned to appreciate the many spices and curries that soon worked their way back to England and onto the supper tables. So si
We have drive by this place for 7 years and never realized it was there. Finally stopped in and are glad we did. It is a pub type atmosphere, with friendly service and pretty good food. The prices are commensurate with the quantity and quality. Our only real complaint was that my wife's bloody mary was not great, but with a little doctoring, we got it to OK. We will be back.

Beer: excellent Food: goodAmbiance: this place is loud. The hostess couldnât hear what I was saying, nor could the server. And I couldnât hear themService: awful. I was ignored for about ten minutes and was about to leave when a different server noticed that no one had been to my table. I noticed other diners also constantly looking for their server. One gentleman got up from his table and walked to the bar to get a beer after waiting for a while.

49 Drafts, 250+ bottles -- all craft beer, plus food you mom would make if she loved craft beer.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleased with the excellent quality of the food. The service was a little lacking; our server rarely checked-in and seemed more interested in chatting with her co-workers. Still, would come back because the food was so good!

We stopped by on an early evening on a Saturday so we weren't sure if we would get seated. We found two spots at the bar and were quite comfortable. It's a large place, but well laid out. Both of the beers were tried were great, and we had their appetizer special, pork carnitas nachos for a snack it was quite delicious. They even brought out more beer cheese sauce so we could finish the chips we had left. Our bartender was friendly and did a great job with us. We will definitely be back to try more of their beers. Very impressed!Elizabeth S.,Thank you for your kind words! Saturday mornings can be a bit crazy, so I'm glad you were able to quickly find a seat and enjoy some delicious, locally produced adult beverages! Located in an old funeral chapel, this brewery has a soulful vibe with stained glass windows and high arches. The bartender offered us a couple of samples to taste. The Coconut Love Shadow was amazing - not too sweet, just a hint of coconut, but still a rich dessert in a glass.
